You won't find a luxury chocolate boutique with a bigger selection anyhwere in Switzerland. It's a little paradise for demanding chocoholics and those who want to buy them a fitting present.
I could fill pages describing all these wonderful, sinfully tasty chocolate bars, but I'm not going to. You've got to experience the shop for yourself. The bars and Riserva truffes produced for them by a small chocolaterie in Bätterkinden are of superb quality, the truffes even matching Sprüngli's Grand Cru truffes in both taste and technical perfection. I was also recently impressed by bars featuring fine flavour beans made by plantation cooperatives in South America and Africa, like Original Beans' bars. Res Hubler's ice cream is simply delicious and you can also order a nearly endless variety of hot chocolate, regardless of the weather.
For all those chocolate addicts who want to get their fix directly from the manufacturers, please contact me via PM for some direct sources that also sell their products online.
I also recommend a visit to Felchlin's factory shop in Ibach (near Schwyz) to any aspiring chocoholic. You can buy the drinking chocolate you'll find being sold everywhere at ridiculous price for pennies on the pound. Many of the country's top pastry chefs use Felchlin's Grand Cru couverture, now you can, too:

Unfortunately Frau Gnädinger doesn't let you take photos of her shop. That's a shame, because the shop is really very cute, a little over-stuffed, but nostalgic and even somewhat romantic.
Her online store compared to Choco Loco's online store only sells products that belong to her own Xocolatl brand.
My advice: If you're at the beginning of your chocolate journey, you should visit her early on a Saturday morning. Then you'll be able to benefit from her expertise and experience without interruption I should know, since this was exactly what I did during my first few years as a chocolate connoisseur.
