I walked inside and took a look at the cute aprons , special edition cooking wares . The ambiance was homely and welcoming. Lady staff was friendly and she gave me a list of all the cooking classes they offer : both adults and children classes . It offered different types of cuisines: Italian , German , pizza , dim sum , Japanese , Vietnamese, French , etc . It was Monday morning , there was a summer vacation camp class going on and it lasted 2.5 hours . The prices are very reasonable. I enjoyed looking at their cookware . One is the Nora Fleming mini . They are ceramic figures with vibrant colors . You can put it in the side of the Nora Fleming dish to add to the theme of your signature cooking . They are so cute and it has many styles : pearl in a clam shelf , elf , flower basket , love and engagement ring , flamingo, champagne , etc They are made with great details and vibrant colors . I also was amazed at a glass jar for crushing garlic , paired with a small video on the shelf . The aprons designs are pretty and prices are fair . This is an interesting store for Kitchen supplies and cooking classes. You see US Foods is one of the big wholesale food distributers that restaurants big and small use. They will deliver big loads of goods whether food or supplies right to the restaurant, usually on pay terms so no cash is handled. And for busy restaurants this is a must, as they constantly need raw goods coming in weekly if not daily. This is the first time I saw a 'US Foods' store. I think they took over something else. But it is a big store/space where almost everything is in bulk and/or wholesale form. For the home cook there is really nothing here that would fit their needs/kitchen unless you like to buy in bulk. 20 - 50 pound bags of beans, sugar or flour is usually just too much for an average Joe to carry to the car, let alone store in a home pantry. But if you like to entertain/cook for a large group like a big birthday, a bbq outing or big holiday get-togethers, then this place may serve you a purpose. I browsed one day and got a good feel for the place and here are my observations. If you go into the fresh produce area or the meat/dairy areas, you will have to go into a refrigerated room. The whole room is about 35 degrees so if you go in there in shorts and/or a t-shirt, then you will not be able to stay in there for too long. Produce not really extensive but you will be able to find some basics. Some things are in cases/big bags but not everything. Actually lots of things in smaller packaging like 2-3 pounds which is doable for a home fridge/usage. I'd say the offerings here are somewhat similar to what you could get at Costco. Meats are a mixed bag. Lots of processed meats like deli meat in whole form. Lots of cheese too but much too bulky for a home fridge. There are pork and beef but all in big/whole chunks. Nothing will be cut into steaks. Big packs too like minimum 10 pounds or more. But if you're cooking for a big group, you're gonna need a minimum of 10 pounds so this may be a draw for me. The bad is for the beef selection, even though the pricing did seem good, there is no 'choice' grade. They use 'select' grade here, which is a notch down from choice. But if you're just braising or slow cooking then this grade would be just fine. Costco only serves 'choice' grade or higher so theirs is more premium. Pork is fine here, I got some pork tenderloin in 2 packs, which is one of the smallest packages I saw, ideal for home usage. Good selection of restaurant ware. Pots, utensils and storage containers. This is a big draw for me as I love restaurant quality storage containers. They are sturdy, with tight lids and many are stackable. These are even hard to find at Costco and Smart and Final. On a weekday morning there is zero traffic here, complete opposite of Costco. Now this is more geared towards restaurants, but knowing if I can get something here or Costco, I will choose this, as the parking and ease to get in and out is an amazing asset to me. I was gonna give them 3 stars for not really being friendly for home usage but given those certain occasions where I'm cooking for 10 or more people, then this place will get a heavy consideration. My husband and I were in the middle of a stressful kitchen renovation and with Grace's customer service she helped ease some of that stress. We bought all new appliances here. She was very patient and knowledgeable. She also took extra time out with me when I received my appliances she helped me fill out the rebate forms online. I'm so grateful for her patience. But what happens when things go wrong? I bought an LG washer/dryer set and the washer had a crazy vibration that just seemed wrong. We hadn't had a new washing machine in a really long time, so we weren't entirely sure if this is how it was supposed to be. I contacted them (airport appliance at the time) and they asked me to send a video. After looking at the video, they confirmed that it wasn't right and arranged a pick up and delivery of a replacement in a few days. The new machine worked and continues to work great. Only downsides were they weren't able to do a miter edge on the counter (or maybe they could but didn't offer it and that's what I would have preferred) and they almost installed a sink that was too small. They emailed me last minute to say they'd do a smaller sink than I had specified and I didn't see the email until it was too late. They were about to do the small sink but fortunately I was onsite and caught the issue in time. They made it work with a proper size sink. Even with these glitches I still was satisfied and would absolutely work with them again. The price was similar to what I'd paid several years ago for a similar sized job so I would consider their overall offering to be very competitively priced.
