My husband recently visited the store to purchase a new phone. He selected a device and set up a payment plan without any issues. The representative assisting him verified his ID, which clearly listed our current address. Despite this, the phone was shipped to an address he lived at eight years ago. When we contacted FedEx to update the delivery address, we were told to reach out to Xfinity. Xfinity then informed us that they were unable to update the address and that we would need to wait for the phone to be returned to them before we could reorder. Over the next week, FedEx continued attempting delivery to the outdated address, and when we visited a local store for assistance, we were told there was nothing they could do. This phone is not only his personal device but also his work phone, so the delay has been especially disruptive. Nearly a month later, Xfinity finally received the returned phone. When I called, I was told that the payment would be refunded and we could reorder the device. We planned to visit the store over the weekend to avoid another delivery issue. However, we still have not received the refund, and this morning his phone service was unexpectedly shut off. He has been an Xfinity customer for more than ten years and has never made a late payment, so this issue is clearly related to the mishandling of the new phone order. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating, and the lack of support has been disappointing. We are now exploring other internet providers, and once this phone situation is resolved--if it ever is--we intend to take our business elsewhere. I had internet services with Xfinity. They guarantee customers a certain price, then suddenly raise it. This last time when I'd had enough of their bait and switch, they'd agreed to $45 per month. After a few months suddenly they started taking $69. Trying to get help via phone made me want to pull my hair out. So, I cancelled autopay and just sent them $45. This went on for a few months until they started threatening shut off. I said, " If you can't keep your part of the agreement then cancel me. I will continue to send $45 as was agreed on." They finally did cancel me but I'd already switched. I could not continue to waste hours trying to rectify the situation by phone. I could not do it any longer because it caused me so much anxiety id end up in tears. Watching their ads promising a fixed price makes me so angry. They are the WORST for keeping their agreements. read more

This was the first time I've ever set foot in an xfinity store. I actually came in to return some equipment as I'd cancelled my xfinity service. I fully expected them to once again try and convince me to stay, but they fortunately did not. They just asked why we left and processed our return quickly. They'll charge you for things you don't use and say it's in a "bundle" gonna save you money. Then after your bundle expires they're happy to take full price for all the services you don't need. They don't issue credits when they charge you for services you didn't use. Their customer service is purposely hard to get ahold of and difficult to deal with because they want you to just give up and pay. Google fiber is nearly half the price btw. This company happily takes money they didn't earn from struggling families. read more

I have the whole family hooked up to Xfinity, including our cable. They give you a deal when you have a group of people. Anyways, I went to the store off of 5600 W., and spoke to Diana who was very kind and polite not to mention helpful. She was able to figure out why I wasn't receiving phone calls from only certain people. Anyways, keep up the good work guys. read more

We have had Xfinity for many years. Our son who is a computer scientist came to stay. He ran a speed test and determined that we were only getting minimal amounts of speed. Like only 350, and we have been paying for 1 gig. Changed plan and tech came out to see why speed is so slow. He said work needs done in area. We didn't get a F/U call, like they said, so we called. Bad news. The pkg we changed to= nope, mislead. Spoke to a person=the sales person LIED. Not pkg we agreeded to. No ticket was created to do service in area. Warning- not Comcast/Xfinity- this is a 3rd party distributor for Comcast. They have a Comcast building/sign and the product and uniforms, but you aren't dealing directly with Comcast. my grandpa's home phone was having issues. My grandpa is in his late 90's and has never had a computer or internet. I called Comcast and was told I needed a phone only modem. I visited this location and a gentleman who was super helpful explained they didn't have any at the time, but I could either go buy one or come back. It was time sensitive so I went and bought one. We couldn't get it to work and so a service rep from Comcast came out to check the line. He suggested our best bet would be to go back to the store and rent one. I called Comcast service again and I could either go pick one up or wait while they shipped one. This store now had some in stock. I didn't want grandpa without a phone for emergencies and so I agreed to pick one up. I returned to this location and it was a fairly busy and so I hung around waiting my turn. When I got to the counter a gal with long dark hair proceeded to help me. I explained the situation and she pulled up the account. She looked over it and said, "you don't get service because you shut your internet off" I again explained the situation that there's never been internet, I just needed an old fashioned phone modem. At that point she began telling me that I was making this up and nothing like that exists. It's internet or nothing. I asked if I could look at the account and she yelled at me that I was threatening her and needed to back up. I didn't threaten her, I wasn't even raising my voice. At that point I asked to speak to the manager. She told me she was the manager and that I had no right to question that. That's when she let me know that I had to exit the store as she was going to call the police. I have never been kicked out of store before and stood there stunned... By now, everyone in the store is staring and I was trying to figure out what the hell just happened. I didn't yell, I didn't curse, I wasn't even angry. I was just trying to explain my situation to her. I left the store and went to my vehicle to call directly to Comcast and get assistance. They then directed me to the store in Jordan Landing. I explained to the reps in Jordan Landing what happened and they all just smiled at each other- apparently this is a common issue- that's when the gentleman at the desk explained that they are a 3rd party distributor. They don't have the same training as standard Comcast employees and they get TONS of complaints against them. I'll be driving to Jordan landing from now on. read more
