We have tried to make it work with Xfinity but they didn't meet expectations. Our expectations aren't that high, first, the cable and internet have to work when we need it and second, billing aligns with what was agreed. Xfinity failed to address both items. After a tech visit a few weeks ago the service was worse than before and they charged us more than what we were told. (Increased to $288/month. Insane!!) We had multiple service outages per day. We kept notes, up to forty service disruptions per day. We cancelled Xfinity today and returned all the equipment. They said we had more equipment than we returned. Time to face a simple truth, we can't return something Xfinity never installed. (Ie security tablet and phone equipment.) We closed the account and paid off the last bill this afternoon. From our perspective we are done. I have zero confidence they won't come back claiming we owe them more money. So, this review also serves as a written public record of full account closure and equipment has been returned. In the event Xfinity tries to bill us for equipment we never had this will be used as written record that we have returned what we have and closed the account. We're done. Came in after work to get a new phone ported to my internet account. There were 4 customer service people there - only 2 assisting clients. I noticed this when I went in initially to get my internet equipment. The wait was grueling. Both times I was second in line and waited over 30 minutes while I observed two of the four reps on their PCs, one on their laptop the other on at a workstation. This is not a good look, very disrespectful of the customer's time. When I finally did get assistance, my new phone wouldn't port to my old number. After about an hour I was told a fraud was locking my phone and that's why it wouldn't port the number. Was told to go to AT&T to get it cleared. Waited 30 mins at AT&T to be assisted only to be told that a prepay service doesn't get fraud alterts and to go back to Xfinity. Xfinity needed to call a port dispute number and they 'know this" . They sort of rolled their eyes like this happens all the time. Never going back to this store even though it's down the street from my house. read more

I'm trying to cancel my service. They constantly advertise great signup offers, but give no incentive to stay with them. I started paying $60 a month. I'm now paying over $110 for the same service. Not to mention, the outages and poor coverage in a small condo don't incentivize me to stay with them. For a telecommunications company, they make it impossible to get ahold of them. They closed doors before advertised closing time on Apple Maps. (Posted 8pm, closed at 7). So, I tried to cancel with Xfinity assistant. The assistant directed me to schedule a callback. When scheduling a callback, they ask if you'd like to cancel using the assistant! Eventually, I selected an appointment, Today at 7:30. I then got a notice that I have a callback scheduled for tomorrow... Finally, I tried to schedule an in person visit to avoid these shenanigans and return my equipment. The in person scheduler is entirely broken. You cannot select any other days. Everything is greyed out. So, you just get an error that says, "No time slots available." Just moved to Utah and needed to install internet and cable service. We did initially use the website to set everything up and ended up making an error on our address. While out running errands we happen to see this store and popped in . Kassandra was amazing. She was able to fix the error and actually got up a cheaper rate and an even sooner date for service installation. Rebranding from Comcast to Xfinity didn't change the underlying issues that the Comcast business model isn't conducive to good customer service. After years of overpaying for some ridiculous TV bundle we cut the cord and switched to streaming for our TV so I had to drop off my boxes and remotes at the store. They tried to up sell me with 'deals' for internet that are more expensive than other providers and tried to convince me that streaming wasn't the way to go. read more

Just stopped in to drop off my router after shutting down service for a move. It was a quick trip in, Kevyn helped me right away. He was super kind super fast and helped me figure out a billing issue with zero push back. I appreciate his help and he deserves some accolades from this multi million dollar company. Kathy did such a fantastic job to help us into getting new phone and a new service line connected with Xfinity she went through everything with us in such a timely manner and she was very patient with us while we had our kids in the store trying to connect our phones and get our services though, she really helped us understand everything. Kathy went over and beyond trying to get us a great discount for everything!. We had a ton of questions and she knew how to answer ever single one without missing a beat. Truly a great experience!. I called 5 times to disconnect and ask if I could keep just the alarm service, no one in customer service knew the answer. Even at the store I kept getting different stories. I would like to share my personal xfinity experience with you. During January, I was told over the phone that there is a 15 dollars per month unlimited plan. then I chose it as my Mobil plan. but after almost 6 months, I looked up my bill and was so shocked that I was charged over 100 dollars per month for 6 months! then I was told it's 15 dollars per gbt. then I asked what is your unlimited plan over the phone on May 20th and I didn't sign up for it. but I was told that I already changed my plan to unlimited on May 26 by Serena, xfinity customer service. I am super unsatisfied with the service! I bet there are a lot of customers who are like me out there. and we will not choose or recommend xfinity to anyone because the customer service is not doing what they are told and charge you without explaining well and without your permission. read more

I have only had great service here thanks to Kassandra. She has helped set up 6 lines for me. Each time I need to come in, I'm able to set up an appointment ahead of time with her. She frequently takes care of things before I even come in so I'm able to get in and out very quickly. Their cell phone deal is great. I have 5 lines that share 10 gb of data for only $60 a month (can't be beat honestly). I was also able to get new phones when I ported over several of the numbers. I highly, highly recommend coming here and working with Kassandra. She is fast, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. read more

Absolutely ridiculous customer service - had to stop by the physical store three separate times to try four different routers to try and restore WiFi after one of the technicians broke my router while working remote on it. After I finally got it all restored, XFinity agents harassed me day after day for payment from my apartment complex. While I presumed it was an error in my landlord sending payment, she explained she tried calling and paying over the phone several times but that agents couldn't complete the transaction and asked her to call back later. The link they sent to my phone number didn't work for payment options when I forward it to her, so now my WiFi is cutoff, I can't pay because I don't have WiFi, and when I finally got my phone call through the agent on the end of the other line was EXTREMELY hard to understand, offered no help, and could only apologize and say that he couldn't do anything else. I am disgusted by the low value Xfinity puts on its employees and its customers and will be cancelling my service as soon as the month ends. If there was a way to digitally spit on them, I would. You'd get better WiFi signal from two oranges and copper wire, or a monkey holding a satellite antennae rather than the BS Xfinity tries to pull off as quality services. Shame on you and shame on anyone who would ever consider getting Xfinity for broadband WiFi. read more

I had finally had it with T-Mobile, came in at talked to Jill. She was amazing and helped get me setup with a new phone and service. I have already noticed a difference with service. It's incredible that mobile service is $45/mo. for unlimited everything and they use the Verizon network. No contract and no deposit! I highly recommend this store. They used to be on Murray Holladay Rd. and recently moved. In store service has always been amazing. read more

Thoroughly disappointed. Wish there was an option for zero stars. What's the point of having an option online to make an appointment if the company offering said appointment can't even make it happen. I could've walked into the store and been seen faster than my appointment, so what is the point of having the option to make an online appointment?! New to Xfinity Mobile, but I've had internet and security through Xfinity for years. Went in to the Murray location to add mobile and was advised that my SSN would be required for verification and possible credit check. Obviously not wanting to give that information out, esp. when the employee confirmed they did not have a SSN on the account, I said I would buy the phone outright. Not good enough. Apparently, that is the ONLY way for Xfinity to verify customers in their system. This should be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Considering the vulnerability of electronic data in today's environment, companies should have alternate means of verification; for example, using Acct Info/History of EXISTING CUSTOMERS. They did not have the phone in stock and have to ship it, but they send it FedEx, which requires a signature, (information that was provided after the transaction was complete) so now there's that to coordinate. Overall, incredibly dissatisfied with the experience; in it's entirety. Very rocky and unpleasant start; will be evaluating if I will stay, since I'll own the phone. read more

The store is fine but xfinity as a service is terrible. Our internet is constantly going out and it's so unreliable. Multiple calls to correct the problem came on deft ears and I'm a long time customer. Plus they offer discounts to new customers while long time customers get no breaks. read more

Comcast has to be the most greedy and insensitive group of vampires in the country. In the middle of a pandemic and economic crisis, insurance companies are cutting premiums, landlords are deferring rent payments, and mortgage companies are forgiving late mortgage payments to help people out. What does Comcast do? They raise your rates because your annual deal expired and then refuse to renew it knowing full well that they have a complete monopoly on broadband in lots of areas. This is company that was barely financially impacted by the pandemic and is aware that millions of people rely on their internet service to be able to work from home right now. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT ever ever ever ever go to Xfinity Mobile. Dealing with them has been an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!! I ordered a new phone a month ago. It took 4 days to get the phone sent to me. It was the wrong phone, when I called the customer service number (waiting an hour) she called me a liar saying I needed to take it into a store location. 3 HOURS yes 3 HOURS at the store and they still had to mail me another new phone! Got that new phone another 4 days later. I then couldn't get the new phone to activate. Another 2 hours on the phone he got it activated. That's not all folks.........I then send the original phone back but FedEx sent it back to my house bc the FedEx delivery ticket was wrong (Thank you Xfinity). After another 3 hours on hold I FINALLY get the correct FedEx information to send the phone back to them. A week later I get an email saying they do not have the phone and will charge my account the full $979! Of course I call and wait another hour on hold. He assures me I will NOT be charged and all is well bc they do indeed have the phone in the warehouse. Now today........guess who got charged for the phone? Yup! This girl right here! I am STILL on hold after 2 people "can't help me" and another hour on hold after an already long day! This post is public so PLEASE SHARE IT!!! read more
