Opened a phone line on my husbands WiFi account everything was fine until he switched providers for WiFi and xfinity added 30$ to my phone bill a month without disclosing that to either of us he calls them to get credits for me being overcharged for several months and they sent him the refund I've never heard of money being taken off of one card and then refunded to a completely different card but besides that inconvenience I was tired of paying 107 a month for one phone line so I paid the balance of the phone off and opened and account with T-Mobile they can't put service on my phone because xfinity refuses to unlock my phone I haven't had service all day yesterday and am currently typing this review using WiFi my husband and I have to go in store today to have them release my phone because no one did it yesterday even though I was told that I would receive a text saying the phone was good I would never recommend xfinity for phone service it's the worst experience I've ever had but their WiFi also isn't great and they will raise their prices on you until you want to switch just go with any other service provider *update* was told over chat that I would be getting a refund within 24-48 hours instead had to go to the store to plead my case to a representative in person because you cannot get a live agent on their phone line and the man I spoke with in store was immediately irritated by me like I was wasting his precious time mind you I was so kind and calm I just wanted a conversation about how they could charge me after my account was paid off and closed and all of the hassle and time waste I went through to switch providers why I would still get billed for service i didn't receive but that was too much to ask for some clarification he just said the charge is accurate and I'm sorry in the most not sorry way possible I wouldn't recommend their service to a dog at this point and if you aren't aware they use Verizon towers so if you use their service you are deprioritized from Verizon customers so your service will be slow all the time every time I actually used my cellular data it barely worked just be aware of this company they are the worst! read more

Was on hold for over 15 minutes ( on the first call) - when they finally answered a robot came on and asked if I was over 50 years old. 1 question, that was it. Suddenly they're trying to sell me medical monitoring service that I don't need. When I told the you g that I didn't need nor want it, she just kept on going with the sales pitch. Twice they have failed us telling us that we could not recover a phone number on a stolen phone because of extenuating circumstances they "Xfinity " caused. I went to the store on May 25th with a problem I was having with my phone. The message popped up "no sim card emergency calls only" I was told by a quite smug young lady that that was a problem with the the system and they are trying to fix it. I explained that my son's phone worked fine and her response was "it didn't affect everyone. " I asked to get that it writing so I could contact xfinity and get a credit for the lack of use of my phone because she said they wouldn't have it fixed for a few days. The Manager got involved and told me she "ain't putting nothing in writing and if I have a problem with that, to call the President" I left, called xfinity customer service. They had me run a couple of tests on my phone and told me to go to an xfinity store of my choice and pick up a new sim card. I went to the store off of Bay Area Blvd they handed me the new sim and my phone was fixed. Kudos to the Bay Area Blvd store. The league city store, well, you can decide for yourself. They will throw you under the bus when you switch service and make it hard on you to make the last payment to were they send you to collections. I tried to call to make payments by phone to stay ahead of my bills but you can't. If you need help you don't get it on anything. They be happy to call you and make payment arrangements but you will not get it due to the fact when they tell you can use that number no you can't. If you need someone to come out for any issue be expected to pay 100 dollars on your bill and the technician just gave me a wire and left. I went up to the store to drop off my equipment, I was not the only one with the same complaints and some people had it worse than me. Don't listen to the reviews. Absolutely disgraceful service. I went to this store on September 8, 2017 to transfer from AT&T to Xfinity Mobile. I was attended to by Christopher, who seemed to take about 2 hours to fumble his way through the computer work. I ordered a Samsung S8 and an iPhone 7. No problem. I was also told I could have up to 5 lines so I decided to move my parents over also. They had a special - LG android phones for $1 so I ordered 3. Christopher said they were out of stock and they expected them in a couple of weeks. When I hadn't heard from Christopher I texted him and he said they were still out of stock. A few days later my AT&T bill rolled over and I got hit for the charges on that account. I contacted Christopher again and he said the LG had been discontinued and tried tosteer me to a more expensive phone. I sent several texts demanding that they honor our deal. Christopher never responded to any of those text messages. I tried calling the store but you can't do that. You have to call the 800 number. The wait was 45 minutes. I was at work. I couldn't sit on the phone or wait for a call back. I went to the store after work and asked to speak with the manager. They said the manager wasn't in. I spoke with one of their sales people, who got on her phone and called the same number that customers have to call. After an hour of arguing - including speaking with a so-called supervisor - they said that I didn't qualify for 5 lines without a credit check. Hello Christopher? Why didn't you tell me that in the first place? How come they sold me hundreds of dollars worth of phones without a credit check? The extra lines are FREE! Since then I've gone around and around with Xfinity. When I sent a message to customer service they said that at the store I declined the credit check! I've been told that the LG phones have NOT been discontinued. So in addition to the complete screwup of my order I've been lied to. I'm going to pursue this with the BBB and if that doesn't work I'm taking these jerks to small claims court. read more

When I got to the store it was hard to find parking in the immediate front, but there was plenty in walking distance. When I entered the store it was crowded with people. Mostly people who were holding their cable boxes and internet modems (probably disconnecting their service, or getting a box replaced). There is a check in tablet that you use to get a number. I was so happy to have that because then you wouldn't have to worry about making a line. However the store does not have enough seating to accommodate the massive number of people who were in there. People were sitting on the floor, blocking the display devices, and crowding anywhere they could fit. It was crazy. The sign on their door said they were hiring and I'm sure they are short handed, but it still was a little ridiculous. Anyway the wait times were very long. The only waiting I can compare it to is the line at the DMV. I know it is because there are people there who all have their story to tell the employees about why they brought their cable box or modems in, but it takes forever! While waiting I overheard one of the employees tell a woman that they were out of wifi modems. I was freaking out because I just moved into my apartment and I canceled my professional installation because my Xfinity representative told me it would be cheaper for me to pick it up from the store and do it myself. Little did I know the store was going to be a terrible experience. Anyway it was upsetting to hear that I had been waiting for my name/number to be called all this time only to find out they couldn't help me. I decided to wait anyway in hopes they could "find" one lying around somewhere or that at least they could put one on hold so I could pick it up in the morning. My name was finally called! I got to the counter and the lady helping me took my ticket. I told her I was worried she wouldn't be able to help me because of what I overheard. She told me I was in luck and that she did have a modem, her last one. I was so excited because I was going to get internet. Then she told me the store hides them - which I thought was the strangest policy ever. However I think she helped me because she is nice, I am a new customer to Xfinity, and I was in uniform because I just got back from work (I am in the Army). It sucks to be whoever it was that got turned away but I'm glad I got my internet as promised. I'm grateful to the employee that assisted me, but I think there are some things that could be fixed. If I was going to be a customer at Xfinity in the future I would choose the option to have everything mailed to me so I wouldn't have to deal with the store. read more

Not only do they not fulfill a contract but they will stream the complaint along with lies and half truths until your 30 day guarantee is up! I have called over and over and get a new story every time I call in about a business line being ported. This complaint started May 6th. Comcast needs to get out of the Business side of things and stick to residential. Not one supervisor has demonstrated any managerial skills. They need serious training and for Gods sake, give them better tools so they can do their job at least on a kindergarten level. Their system for note keeping SUCKS. Went in to the Xfinity store to buy pods to extend my house wireless capabilities. I knew exactly what I wanted, but the reception clerk said he still had to give him my name and wait. After watching people that came in after me being serviced, I went back up and was told that I had somehow not gotten on to the list and that they would add me to the list - I responded that I would be fine with seeing the next available service clerk but I wasn't going to accept being put at the end of their list. At that point, the manager stepped in and said that I was on the list and they called me (which was NOT true as both I never heard my name called AND the reception clerk had already checked and stated that I was NOT on the list). When I pushed the point that I should be served next, the manager stated that their system was now down and they couldn't serve me at all unless I was willing to wait until the system came back up... read more

For the first time in my lifetime I am completely pleased with Xfinity ' s customer service. I was greeted by a gentleman right when I walked in the door to get my name and issue. He sent me directly to Kenyon. I cannot say enough good things about Kenyon! He replaced my dvr (calling into customer service was a TOTAL bust) and help save me money on my future bills. This guy is a 5 star employee . I hope xfinity can find more resourceful and kind employees like Kenyon. They should since cable bills are outrageous! ! If I could give Xfinity zero stars I would. By far the worst wifi experience I have ever had. It also doesn't help that the only option for customer support is speaking to a robot, which never ends up being any help at all. I'm paying almost $100 per month for wifi that doesn't work more than half the time, and anytime I try to get technical support, I NEVER have the option to speak to a real human. Store gets 4-5 stars, the company as a whole gets ZERO! Had a bad installation with no help from the 1-800 number, so went to store to drop off my cable boxes as I cancelled my service. Spoke TK that manager named Sara and was actually LiSTENED too! She understood my frustration and offered to upgrade my modem and waive the $10 a month rental fee for a year! I ended up going with Direct TV (much happier) and will continue to stay with Infinity/Comcast for internet..... only because Sara helped me and apologized for the crappy service! I placed an order with this store to have Xfinity Internet service installed at my home. For the first confirmed appointment, the tech was running three hours late and I canceled since I did not installation in the late evening. The second try the tech could not do the installation because he could not connect the cable to box on the pole. He set up a third confirmed appointment when a bucket truck would do the connection. No one showed up for the appointment and no one called to explain why. Emails to the salesperson at the store went unanswered. Three strikes and your out, Comcast. I canceled the order. Not having had cable in 15 years (had satellite and Verizon FIOS), I wasn't sure I wanted an archaic technology for television programming. Looked over their packages including internet, and a landline out of necessity. Verizon changed sub provider and for 10 days I didn't have phone service or a landline. Fed up, I cancelled their crummy service and subscribed to XFinity Comcast. I was skeptical at first, but service was on time and efficient. The programming packages are very amenable to my tastes. I haven't had any problems, and was pleasantly surprised to see they have an on screen caller id option with log, and voicemail. One of the best decisions I've made, and Frontier/Verizon/Aol, you'll be getting a yelp review as well, and it wont be pleasant. read more

I too have heard all the horror stories of Xfinity/Comcast, but I have had great experiences so far. We had cable internet installed several months ago. The installation technician was extremely helpful and professional. But today was the best! We have had major plumbing work in our neighborhood for the past 1-2 months. They have been cutting the marked cable lines multiple times and cut ours 2 days ago. We scheduled an Xfinity technician but they weren't able to come for 2 more days. Today I saw a technician at my neighbor's house and flagged him down. He graciously agreed to help me too! Poor guy had to follow the line behind my house and it took him a good 1.5 hours to get to where it was cut and fix it. I really appreciated him fixing my cable even though I was not on his schedule. Incidentally fixing mine also fixed a few of my neighbors as well! I didn't get his name but he was in truck 3112. Thanks again!!! read more
