Stopped in to find some sandals, and just about every pair was very over priced IMO. You could easily find a comparable pair at any Payless Shoes or even Walmart, but alas, neither of those is less that an hours drive. All in all, I was able to find a cute pair of sandals, for just over $20 and was happy to pay it. It's not always easy on the budget to support local businesses, but they are the back bone of America. This time we both scored a deal, they made a sale and I got was I came in for. I find myself only able to shop in a certain corner of the store...the less-country-hick-corner. You will usually find a helpful staff and a handful of things you want to take home...which BELIEVE ME when I say that's a huge upgrade in this town. Street-parking can be limited and the hours aren't especially liberal..but any business downtown doesn't believe in over-extending themselves for anyone...specifically customers. Because that would be crazy.
