I went into the shop and was out within 5 minutes. The service was great and the guy who fixed my SIM card (for free, no scams) was great. I recommend that USF students go here for their phone fixes because of the close proximity to the campus, great customer service, and student discounts they give.

He didn't do a diagnostic as I asked and didn't give me a proper receipt form. 2. Giving me a defective piece (charge port) that could not charge up and ended up telling me "oh it could be the Motherboard" just to make more money off of me". He never charged it in front of me and knew that it was damaged. I opened up the actual back of my phone myself (the same night) and noticed. 3. He stole my Samsung battery as I have a recording of him saying that it was in there and refused to give it back. He said he would show me on camera and didn't (Because he's lying). He was the last person to inspect my phone and open it up. I told him I would leave a bad review and he said he will make 10 more... (he's posting fake reviews himself which if I find out, I will report). I ended up doing the work on my phone myself which was not as hard as it seems at all. I encourage you to learn yourself or take it to someone you know and trust. I will NEVER invest my money into these kind of scam companies again. Not to mention he told me to "f*** out of the store" He's a liar, but he can't lie to me because we both know the truth. To make matters worse he also stole my signal antenna and replaced it with a damaged one making my signal very unreliable. I'm a person of integrity. Unlike him. I'm filing a claim against this guy with my bank and if he rejects it he will be taken to civil court where all the evidence will be useful against him.

I did not have an appointment for the Genius Bar, but the guy in the front took my info down, and told me it would only be about half an hour. I wandered off, and in about 10 minutes, I received notice that my appointment was ready. The guy helping me was super thorough and knowledgeable. He confirmed what I already knew - that my iPad needed to be replaced with a new one. Fortunately, I could get a trade in amount of $190, so that helped substantially with purchasing a new one. The apple "genius" (maybe Andrew?) ordered my new iPad mini, went and got it, took my payment, deactivated my old one, set up my new one, and scrubbed the old one. Altogether it took less than an hour and I was on my way, easy peasy. I don't use their services often, but it's nice that they are available if I need to.

Within 4-5 days of normal use (the phone was never dropped or damaged), the glass developed cracks. For comparison, $9 multi-packs from Amazon typically last us months without issues. Then the real frustration began. The store told us the warranty is not handled by Apple but by Belkin. That means filling out a lengthy online form, waiting nearly a month for processing, then another week for shipping. It has now been almost two months since purchase, and we've been walking around with a brand-new phone covered by a cracked screen protector. Extremely overpriced, disappointing durability, and a warranty process that is slow and impractical. I would not recommend buying these screen protectors at the Apple Store. Ordering from Amazon is far cheaper and far less hassle.
