This gym is a hidden gem. Always clean with several showers/restrooms. The gym has plenty of inclusive classes and accommodations for everyone. Great equipment that is maintained at a high standard. I wish they would move back to 24/7 hours soon. read more

Biggest joke! Attention DAY PASSERS! HEAD STRAIGHT TO FITNESS QUEST FOR $9!!! They do not do day passes, not free passes, I'm talking about paying to use the gym for a day! So if you're in town visiting family or friends, don't come to this place to pay them even $20 to use the gym. As an owner, wouldn't you think that's the best business transaction that could walk through your facility? $10-$20 to use the gym for the day? "Nah, we don't like money here, we rather get the $40 a month from people, rather than a $10-$20 one time charge" LOL.....I guess the owners didn't take business 101. I would pray the owner sees this, because I want to hear their logic behind this and why they don't like money. Really nice gym and then me and my husband went there years ago all the classes like Zumba

It's been more than 5 years since I started to work out here regularly. Over the years, I noticed that this place gets stinkier and stinkier. Partially because the smell of cleaning detergent is so pungent and persistent in this place, and partially more and more people wear quite amount of perfume/cologne or whatever it is, to mask their smell of sweat or body. It's a nice gesture but generally they are overdosed; I can smell even 8 feet away. The wafting smell of detergent and perfume is getting to me. They should open the window and let air in or have ventilations. Music is still too loud to listen to my own music. read more

I'm writing this post to see how many other members were charged unfairly. I'm not against being a member and paying a fee for that membership. But what I am against is a business that is greedy enough to charge a cancellation fee to it's members during these challenging circumstances... Just because they can fit a few people in the open outside, they charge us as if everything is normal. AND when I explain how the virus is a concern, first and foremost, and how I don't feel safe, how it would be best to cancel my membership, THEY CHARGED ME A CANCELLATION FEE OF $100!! So I go there and lo and behold there is not only a contract there is all kinds of fees attached to this membership which is ridiculous and the service there sucks. A little too costly. A gym in LA can cost you around 12.00 if you purchase a year at a time. Here, if you purchase one year at a time, it's 35.00 monthly. A little too much, considering that you're locked into a contract to pay $420, albeit monthly. If I could pay $30.00, monthly, no contract, I would love this place. You need to CLEAN your gym!!! The bathrooms are awkward and gross. Showers are in bathrooms which means people walking around with dirty shoes walk in the same place you take shower in. I have shower shoes, but I still feel like the shower situation could be better. I don't think they ever clean them. Toilet paper and paper towel pieces are on the floor and you just don't feel right taking a shower here. The large mirror is coed which is dirty as well and awkward because men will gawk at you as you get ready in the mirror. The vents and ceiling in the classroom are gross and caked with dust and dirt. I don't feel like this is a clean gym. Please clean it up because it's the only 24/7 gym around and it's a same that it's in the shape it is. read more

This is the absolute worst gym I have ever been to. Half the equipment doesn't work and the gym as a whole is dirty. I wouldn't even step foot in the bathrooms because they were disgusting. Aside from the physical condition of the gym, there were other issues. Even though it's a "24hr gym," the hours were sporadic and the staff never made any effort to contact its members about these changes. We were also seeing random charges on our bank statement from here and really couldn't get a straightforward answer as to what the charges were for. To be honest, I don't even know how much we paid here per month, because it seemed to be different every time. Super sketchy. The staff doesn't seem to give a damn about their members either (they're usually appearing lazy and indifferent). It's also very difficult to get out of your contract, and they will make up excuses as to why you can't. My husband and I left this gym and now drive 20 minutes to one that we love. This gym sucks, and I recommend you avoid it at all costs, if you value cleanliness and friendly customer service. read more

Seeing how this is literally the only gym in reedley - if you don't count the gym inside the college- it's pretty good for the most part. It has a basketball court, two parts of the gym for free weights and a good amount of cardio. They also allow you to receive a 7 day guess pass. The only thing is that the prices are outrageously pricy. read more

Great gym it has all of the essentials and isn't too crammed. Only negative is that it doesn't have a space specifically for deadlifts.

Gym is really well equiped with cardio machines, weight machines and weights, I like that it offers a more private way of exercising without everyone watching from outside. One thing I started to dislike is the restroom cleanliness floor is sometimes too dirty and they removed the shower curtains so water gets spilled all over the floor and staff doesnt seem to care, I've seen them just talking on front and not really maintaining the place. I hope manager does some justice here and get things straighten out before someone makes a report to BBB, we all pay top price and we don't get top hygene. read more

For me this is a great gym, I'm training here since 2 years ago and I see the people working here are very nice ,also people around you are very friendly and the restrooms are clean the machines work great,nice green areas nice parking lot under covers to protect your cars .location is close to downtown the only thing I miss is the protein shakes but I really enjoy it thinking to do something good for you body I really recommend read more

24 hours. That's really the big selling point for this gym. Compared to others in the area it's nice, but the bathrooms need to be cleaned much more often. Good selection of equipment and some classes offered. Big downsides: it's very expensive comparatively, and it's always filled with obnoxious college kids. read more

I've had some situation at this gym I wasn't pleased with. Their a good gym. I just don't agree with having contracts.

Just disgusted, is all I can think of to describe how I feel about this place. I pay 80 dollars a month for me and some siblings to go here. The least they can do is buy some damn basketball nets. I literally come here to play basketball and run some cardio. Since ive have been here, they have had the same busted ass nets. And I used to come here in 2012 and the nets were the same then. Aside from that, I just arrived and was shocked to see that the basketball gym was closed. I was listening in while I was writing a letter for the suggestion box and overheard an employee say there was a fight last night and that's why the gym was closed. WHAT IN THE HELL DOES SOMEOME ELSE FIGHTING THE DAY BEFORE have to with me and my friends trying to play at a facility we pay for monthly. We are suffering because of someone else? Ban them from comimg back. This is damn ridiculous. Since the part of the gym that I come here for is closed down for such a stupid reason, can I get half off if my bill? I use this gym since it is in the middle of my commute home to Fresno after work. The facility is clean and there is a good array of equipment. It fits my needs for a gym and it usually isn't uber full. Not the best i have seen but adequate and not disappointing. The membership dues are pretty cheap in my opinion as well. read more

You can come here on any given day and 30 to 40 % of the cardiovascular equipment isn't functioning properly. It's like they don't have a maintenance program. It's too bad it could be a great place. read more

For Reedley being such a small town, this gym was nice. I was visiting family and wanted to hit the gym while I was there. I arrived around 0630 to the gym checked in the girl at the counter helped me with a few things. She was nice polite and attentive. The gym is small but uses it's space very well. They have a cardio area, an area kind of Crossfit style (it was closed off, maybe its just for classes) next to cardio and had some huge tires out back. They have a nice decent size weight room with many options and their dumbbells increased by 2.5 lbs which is good because it gives you a variety. They have a good size clean aerobics room and recently added a full basketball court outside. They don't have men/women locker rooms, what they have is an open area with lockers, sinks and mirrors which serve its purpose. They do have men/women bathrooms and in them they have showers... well at least the men's does, I am sure the women's has a shower as well. They do have a nice sized kids club as well which in my book is a HUGE plus! The facility looks fairly new, clean and well kept. That's my 4 stars! What I didn't really like was their juice bar... They only have 1 brand of protein to make their shakes with and from the options i was asking everything was artificially flavored with syrups. Other than that I enjoyed my visit and when I am in town I will visit again. read more

This place is expensive. It cost more than the big gyms in Fresno and if you don't pay with your credit card it cost 10.00 more per month than their already high monthly rate. Plus you have to be on a contract. The place is very crowded also. It is hard to get on the equipment. My wife couldn't get into an aerobics class coming 15 minutes before class. They said you should come an hour earlier and get a ticket for the class and then you could wait or come back right before class. read more

The gym only possesses two stair stepper machines which are almost always occupied, they have about 4 bikes of which only two are functioning, some of the treadmills are frequently out of service, and the weight bars in their weight room are all bent with the exception of possibly two of them. The gym is crowded at most times of the day especially evenings, which means they have a large number of members which one can assume means a decent amount of profit to invest into proper equipment. It is safe to say that keeping existing members satisfied and maintaining the gym up to date does not seem like a priority, I have been attending for quite sometime and am happy to finally move on to a more accommodating gym. read more

Decent equipment and very kind staff. However, the staff is powerless over the financial side of things. There are many charges. If you don't have a bank account on file they charge you $19.50. If there is any problem with your card that is on file, there is a $19.50 charge, which none of the staff is able to adjust. Don't be late on your payment... Because there is no grace period and you receive a charge. IF YOU ARE STOPPING YOUR MEMBERSHIP, DO SO 30 DAYS BEFORE YOU PLAN ON STOPPING BRCAUSE IT TAKE THE 30 DAYS TO PROCESS YOUR CANCELLATION! That's right, 30 days. Meaning, they will charge you for an extra month even though you always pay in advance. read more

I have been going to this gym since it opened. In the past they had a maintenance man that was there everyday checking on broken and or equipment that had issues. They also had handicapped staff as well as the staff on duty walking around and cleaning. The other day I was looking around while working out and notice the place is getting dirty. I seen the same wipees that is used for the equipment laying on the floor for about three weeks around elypticals. Dust and dirt everywhere. I remember the days of someone wearing a back pack walking around vacuuming all around equipment, underneath equipment. It's really starting to look bad. Weights not organizes like they used to be.. I do see several employees sitting around counter enjoying them selfs when they could probably be cleaning.. just my opinion read more

I just joined Xcelerate in Reedley based on yoga classes in the late afternoons and evenings listed on their monthly schedules. Now that I've joined, suddenly, there are no yoga classes at those times. If I had known yoga was going to be dropped from their afternoon/evening schedule, I would not have joined. I have been a member for five years now and really like it. The gym is clean and up to date and the staff are friendly and helpful.

All of the bathrooms smell like urine. All of the showers have black and orange mold. In the bathrooms there is trash and debris such as grommets from fallen shower curtains all over the floor that has been there for weeks. The bathroom sinks have black mold. The faucets are on sensors. I am not sure this is up to code having electrical outlets so close. I had my blow-dryer sitting in the sink and the water came on. Seems like a huge safety risk. There is a small shelf in each bathroom by the sink. Most of them are coming off the wall. In one shower the shower head is so high it must be for a 7 foot tall person. In one shower the pull down faucet has not cradle to sit in on the wall so it just flops around freely. Twice there has been no toilet paper in the bathrooms. There are ceiling fans but they are all set on low, thereby doing nothing. There is a ton of dirt and dust on all of the vents, fans ceiling. There is so much that all of it is discolored and filthy. Several of the cardio machines do not work. Two of the treadmills don't work. One of the elliptical's does not. All of the equipment is in dire need of repair. The place is pretty gross. read more

BEWARE OF THIS SCAM! Your contract with Xcelerate Fitness will automatically renew after one year unless you notify the club at least one month before your contract expiration date. Xcelerate will tell you that you owe them an extra month membership plus their renewal fee even if you are no longer using their facility. They will tell you that they can't cancel your membership until you pay everything you "owe" them. Don't believe the lies: Xcelerate may tell you that they need you to fill out their cancellation form and they aren't sure where they're kept or that they're all out of the necessary forms. Check your contract, if you don't have it ask for a copy. You will find that the contract states that all you need to do to cancel is provide something in writing at least 30 days prior.
