    I really like this place! The staff and trainers are very welcoming and positive. It's affordable…read moreif you're on a moderate budget. It's available 24/7, including holidays. The restrooms are single occupancy for privacy. There are 2 single occupancy shower rooms available. The equipment is reasonably up to date and if it's not fully functional they fix it in a reasonable amount of time. Every member gets 2 free sessions with a personal trainer. I only took advantage of one because as it turns out I don't enjoy talking while I work out and am quite self motivated, but I appreciated the trainer's friendliness and constructive attitude towards making a workout plan. I do only have a few criticisms and that's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. There are a couple of things that could be improved. I go early in the morning and I find that they're usually either almost out or completely out of little towels you can use to wipe sweat. The restrooms are not always very clean in the morning. At least a couple of times per week they're out of equipment wipes and paper towels in the early a.m. For a small, nominal fee, I'd be ecstatic if they were to provide bigger towels for those who use the showers and don't want to lug a big towel with them that they have to take to their office (or class for the students) and discretely hang-dry (or let fester in their bag all day). Since I commute to work via bus I don't have a lot of options but don't want to be a jerk and use 4 tiny towels to dry off, especially as they're often out anyway. Making sure there are enough supplies like equipment wipes and small towels to last until the morning, and maybe having someone pop in during the evening to quickly touch up the restrooms might be nice too. It being a college town I know they probably have a surge of people in the evenings who prefer to work out at night, which is why they are out of supplies in the morning. Those are my only gripes - everything else is on-point and I don't expect any place to be absolutely perfect.

No mention during signup of mandatory in-person visit to activate app key. When they finally replied, refused to cancel remotely and claimed I'm locked into a 12-month contract I never saw or agreed to. Member Solutions email bounced "mailbox full." Total bait-and-switch. Still fighting for refund. Deceptive and unreachable. Stay away.

I began taking classes here to get off campus and get some exercise in (graduate school hasn't been so kind to my previous active lifestyle). After coming here I ended up finding community outside of graduate school that was health conscious and motivated. I lost a few pounds, and gained some serious strength. I'm not going to lie; getting motivated to hit the gym at the end of a stressful day is hard, but knowing that I've got a supportive crew waiting for me at the gym certainly helps. BONUSES: 1) Online scheduling: Helps keep class sizes under check and ensures that I hit the gym when I say I will. 2) Cool people: I was afraid I'd run into the classic 'jock' types but this is far from the case. The people who come here are personable and fun to be around. 3) Inspiration: So many people have lost weight and have managed to keep it off. If they can do it; I can keep a healthy lifestyle too! 4) TRX: Seriously the coolest workout thing ever. 5) Functional training: Since working out here I've noticed my day-to-day activity/energy has improved immensely; something I haven't been able to recreate from traditional gym workouts. DOWNSIDES: 1) Music: I get tired of listening to the same music at EVERY workout. In class you are guaranteed to be listening to repeat playlists of either classic rock, funk, random 80's beats, or uber hyped up pop music. It is tolerable the first 10 classes... then it gets old. Perhaps they could sync Spotify/Grooveshark/Pandora or something to vary it up a bit. 2) Equipment: The mats used for classes are old and beat up, but this isn't such a big deal if you bring your own. 3) Wish there were more late night classes (lately they've been getting better about changing the schedule up and adding in new ones) If you are looking to become more active, shed a few pounds, find some cool friends, or need an outlet to stay sane this place is the jam!

    **Disclaimer: we just started this, so this post is a first impression review**…read more My husband and I signed up for a four weeks couples challenge in February for an amazing price. Erin and Rod provide a family friendly and all fitness level inclusive training environment. The facility is tucked away on the West side of town, standard warehouse/crossfit/training style gym with AstroTurf. They also use the facility for youth baseball/softball training (you'll see batting cages). As a pretty picky exerciser that used to teach multiple fitness classes, I was extremely happy with Erin's instruction and ability to modify for injury. Workouts include a thoughtful warmup (and foam rolling) and interval training. (example: ball slams, trx, goblet squats, pushups, prowler, etc.) Easy to schedule strength sessions (on line) and classes are drop-in with no advance signup required. They encourage (not require) a modified ketogenic diet. While it was explained and encouraged, it was nice to not feel like there was a book of "rules", but rather guidelines for making choices. They do sell Keto//OS as a supplement - again, they suggest and don't require. Erin posts on Facebook Live frequently offering tips and advice on a healthy keto lifestyle.
