I originally brought my boyfriend's BMW to Imperial Auto and Truck Service Center for brakes,…read morerotors, and sensors, and that experience is what made me trust them with my own vehicle. I live in Southern California, and when my car developed a problem, I could have taken it to any number of shops near me. Instead, I drove it to Henderson specifically because I wanted Imperial to diagnose and repair it. They found the problem quickly and handled everything with my extended warranty company for me. I didn't have to spend time making calls or dealing with the warranty process. They took care of everything, and all I had to do was pay my deductible. Later, another unrelated issue came up, and once again they took care of it quickly. Most recently, I had a minor issue with the car, and they fixed it as a courtesy without charging me. That kind of customer service is what keeps people coming back. They've consistently been professional, helpful, honest, and easy to work with. I trust Imperial Auto and Truck Service Center enough that I plan to bring all of our vehicles here going forward, including my cars from Southern California. If I'm willing to drive that far to have a shop work on my car, that says a lot about how much confidence I have in them.

They quoted $450 for the job to not go through my insurance or the full $500 deductible otherwise. When I mentioned the price seemed a little steep, she blamed it on it being a local business not a national "big box" chain and the fact that they could provide same day and mobile service. Thankfully I decided to shop around instead of panicking. I easily found another local business (5 star rated) who not only quoted me far lower for same day service but I was also able to get my all my windows tinted (with a lifetime warranty) for $40 less than this business. Needless to say I felt like I was being taken advantage of in a minor crisis. Beware of these guys.

Rob and his team at 9th Island Automotive are AMAZING! They finally fixed my AC after four summers…read moreof trying to get Ford Country to fix it. It was nothing but a constant runaround with the dealership, and unfortunately, my husband had a similar experience trying to get his AC fixed at Henderson Chevy. After dealing with both dealerships, finding 9th Island Automotive was such a relief! Rob and his team are honest, knowledgeable, and actually take the time to explain what needs to be repaired, what can wait, and why. They don't try to sell you repairs you don't need, and their prices are much more affordable than the dealerships. They fixed both our cars within days compared to the dealerships that took weeks. As a woman, it is reassuring to know there are mechanics out there who treat you with honesty and respect rather than making you feel like you're being taken advantage of. I finally feel like I have a shop I can trust! If you want your car fixed properly without the dealership runaround, skip the dealership and go to 9th Island Automotive! You won't regret it!

Can you give 10 stars?…read more We were stranded in our RV with major repairs along 93, and Ted and crew at First Choice went over-the-top to get us back on the road again. They rushed parts in from as far away as Phoenix, worked overtime into the night, and simply bent over backwards to help us out. They did thorough work, knew what they were talking about, and were completely above board about the repairs that were needed. While I hope we are never broken down near Boulder City again, at least I know a place that is honest, dependable, and dedicated. Thanks Jonathan, Ted, Maynard, and everyone else that helped us out!

Honestlee should be called DIShonestlee…read more I brought him my vehicle, and he pulled the motor apart, but he couldn't reassemble it, as he told me he attempted 3 times. I didn't drive more than 5 miles, and my motor completely blew. He lied about it being ready and just wanted it out of his shop. What should have been a $1,100 repair turned into more than $12k in repairs at another shop. I was fortunate that I was able to hunt down his insurance since he refused to give me a policy number. After 3 agonizing months, his insurance paid me. He did not cooperate, and he then started telling me it was my fault. STAY AWAY. He is clearly having problems as a long-time customer; he is now doing bad work, and other reviews are stating he is doing bad work just as of recently.
