A good place to stop for coffee heading down to the coast. Super nice staff and fast service. The coffee could have been a little stronger but I still really enjoyed my mocha.

Fab quick stop leaving or arriving in Lincoln City. New owners with great coffee roasted in Salem. I had the cold brew and will enjoy. The menu is still incomplete so I will update next week.

The biscuits and gravy was good, and the breakfast sandwich had good flavor but was dry.

On this day around 3:30pm I had a banana bread craving and I have heard she makes good banana bread. Also they have soy milk which some other places do not. I got my standard iced soy vanilla latte and a big piece of banana bread that my kid declared " dry." I liked it, the crust was a touch dry but the middle was not. The latte was good but I would get another shot of espresso next time I think. Nyla was very kind and friendly and I would go back.

When you see a light blue building on a hill off the 101 in Lincoln City, you know you've hit Nyla's. At first I thought I could walk in and order, but it seems like the entrance was blocked off by a lawn chair and a small gate. Now realizing that this is probably a drive-thru only location, I got back in the car and went to the drive-thru window. We were the only customers there and the lady, I'm automatically assuming she was Nyla herself because she was the only person working there, helped us with our order. I didn't get the chance to look at the menu but Nyla was kind enough to give me one to look at in the car. I asked my boyfriend if he wanted something from here but he wasn't interested. He's not a big coffee drinker so I kinda knew he didn't want anything. I ordered a medium iced latte with half and half and sugar added in. This type of drink came out quickly and it had a great taste to it. They also serve seasonal drinks, in which they're now serving fall drinks, though we're still in the middle of August and technically it's still summer. Though it can be difficult to enter or exit (depending on the type of day you're here), I would still recommend this nice little coffee shop.

The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. That one hits like a perfect riff at just the right moment. Sweet, rich, and laid back in all the right ways and like it knew exactly why you showed up. They've got fresh baked goods dialed in too and this is their thing, and you can taste it in every bite. Service? Kinda like a wandering solo... not always in sync, not always warm, but hey the music (aka the food) keeps the whole thing together. In the end, it's one of those places you stumble into and remember later with a smile. If the road ever brings us back through Pacific City, we'll swing by again and let it play on.

The biscuits with my breakfast scramble were also 5-star good for similar reasons. The scramble itself was fine but nothing special. The service was fine. It took awhile to get served and we didn't have a dedicated server, so it was a bit random, but it was fine. It's pretty spacious to handle a fair number of customers. It was pretty busy in a Friday at 10 or so. The oat milk served in the side with my coffee was nice. It was a solid experience. Definitely come for the scones as they were amazing!
