I mean, can't get much better than that. We got the Tofu Banh Mi, and it was not only delicious, but very pretty. And they don't skimp on the tofu, either. Nicely spiced and had great sauce. I do wish more veggies had been put on the sandwich. The bread, although quite good, was just a little too dense. You can get banh mi, pho ( I mean come on, how often can you get pho from a food truck?), Vietnamese tacos, and salads. I'd definitely make it a point to search for this truck. I really like the variety of drinks and chips they offer, and I appreciate that they are visible to customers. I didn't have to wait very long in line even though it was pretty busy when I arrived, and my food also came out pretty quick! The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer my questions regarding their menu. I got the chicken tacos, and they were delicious! I could tell right off the bat that they put a lot of effort into serving high-quality food full of flavor. I really enjoyed the sauces as well. I wish that their hours weren't so limited, but I can live with it. This is a great place to grab lunch at for a good price!

They offer things like onions and jalapeños to go along with whatever you order, as well as a variety of drinks and chip options. It is a food truck, so the atmosphere is super casual, and there is normally a small crowd, but you likely won't be waiting long. They are located in a super convenient spot, so it is never too much of a task to stop by. Overall, Dos Hermanos is a great choice if you want a quick, affordable, and delicious meal. I will definitely be back! One thing to keep in mind is that they close pretty early, but works perfectly for a nice lunch.

Birmingham Restaurant Week has ended and I am happy I got the chance to try some new places so I can tell you all about them. So let's get right into it. First up is The Lil Bougie Foodie INC. What brought me to them is what I saw written all over their food truck. It said Home of the Bougie burger, so I was very intrigued. So I ordered it after asking what all came on it. I don't fully remember what was all on it and unfortunately I tried to find it only but there is no description of it I could find so I'll do my best here. Like I said I ordered The Bougie Burger (A LA Cart). It had cheese, bacon, tomato, pickles, onions, lettuce, and bougie sauce. Oh and two smashed patties. This burger was good. In my own opinion it was lacking just a touch of season and I wish they had given me more of the sauce on the burger it was like I know it's there but wish I had more of it. Also I was disappointed I received bacon bits on my burger instead of actual slices of bacon (not sure what was going on there). Also on the picture it looks like there burgers were served with White American cheese but I received Yellow American (yes they taste different to me), don't get me wrong I love yellow American so it didn't bother me at all. Anyways this burger was very good would 100% get this again and can't wait to try what else they have on the menu. I give the burger a 8.9/10. She then said "It's the same amount of food." which, ok cool, but I don't think that should be said cause they can lose out on money. Just my opinion. And FYI, I very often get kids meals cause I really don't eat a lot. Not trying to save money or anything. The meal came with two chicken tenders, sauce, fries and a drink. Fries were good. Nothing to complain about. Those tenders tho.....YUM!!! So much flavor. And the ranch I got with it....yes! Not sure when I'll be in Birmingham again but I will 100% go back and try other items!

The fried chicken at Tracks and Surfside Club is way better than at Eugene's. The cole slaw is also better. My girlfriend is a native of Alabama and she was no fan either. She thought her chicken was tough. I got two different styles of beer and they were tasteless. I might as well ordered a Bud Light. And, of course, the music was way too loud.

The truck looks great and had different trinkets on the counter for added decor. They also had a sign out that listed their menu for the day. I went with the pork belly sandwich and the loaded potstickers. The sandwich had lots of flavor and I appreciated the fresh slaw, which added good texture. The bread to ingredient ratio was also good, I didn't need to pick off any extra bread that was just in the way. The postickers were also yummy. They were piping hot so I feel like I got a prime experience of all the flavors coming together. I only waited about ten minutes for my order and the Rickshaw team was super friendly and checked to see if I was enjoying the meal and needed a to-go box (which I did...yay leftovers!). This was a fun and tasty introduction to even more Asian cuisine around Birmingham.

I've been a fan/customer way before Whitney had her truck and held pop-ups at events around the city. The food is always fresh and hot since it's made to order. I love how she offers a different menu than what most of the other trucks offer. She even offers a salad option for those that want a lighter fare. If you're looking for burgers or polish sausage...this isn't your truck. But if you want delicious, Creole inspired cuisine, definitely look out for Simone's Kitchen ATL (the truck) at a location near you.
