I wanted to add that they can custom cut any steak you want, if you don't see one you like in the…read morecase. The meat here is so fresh, and you can definitely taste it. Also, be sure and expect to wait, depending on the day and time. If you can't, then you can call ahead, and they will TRY to have it ready when you get there.

Decent selection but the OWNERS EGO is too big for me to shop here! Let me start by saying I've…read moreshopped here for 2 years and the men on staff are so nice and friendly. I usually stop in once or twice a week and Dakota is such a cutie and so helpful every time. The other gentleman also such a great smile and so helpful. BUT!!!!! The owner is a petty woman who apparently is never wrong and I just have an issue with a woman who would call another woman a liar and refuse to make any effort to retain customers who you deem "not worth helping". Long story short I bought a cake (same one my son loved at thanksgiving) and when he ate it he said it tastes like ear wax. I tried it and it was off so I called and asked for a call back so we could maybe return it or work this out. I mean I'm a somewhat long time customer, never had an issue, spent lots, surely I'd get help right? Nope! No call back, so I went to speak to someone with my husband and basically got told either I messed up storage or I'm lying... So after 2 years I chose to lie? OK Lady.. So she rudely speaks to me in front of my husband and because she's my elder I just kinda let it go because I'm not try to raise an old lady's blood pressure and I don't argue with ignorance, I'll just dispute it instead of arguing with someone who should've learned sometimes you get bad product.. Your store can't be 100 percent just perfect or maybe she didn't know but it's more than like she didn't care (the vibe she gave was very "oh my people owned colonels and this is the south") but it gets worse. My story stays the same but hers changes. I go in today and she's mad she didn't get her cake back!! You mean the one I messed up or lied about and you basically told me to just deal with it? That cake.. ok.. And then refused to help me and says from now on you must pay me in CASH!! CASH? Ok let's be serious. The product is good but your store is dirty, sometimes over priced, and the ground beef always smells and taste funny (only meat I don't buy) and you are too old to be acting like this. Anyone who's this old should know better don't you think? Maybe you need a course on business or as a customer pointed out to me going out the door you never seem to happy with people of a certain age and color (Lightbulb). I just said that to my husband last time who thought it was because we were a mixed couple. Really hope racism, ageism, or possibly even sexism isn't your issue. Didn't you learn manners? Sometimes I truly hate when someone is blessed with a handed down business they didn't earn and think they can just pick and choose who they deem worthy of excellent customer service. It was a cake, I've spent more on a 3inch porterhouse. I wish you nothing but the best but please remember businesses do get bad product and changing your story from lying, my fault and now (forgot this part) Selling the other half of the cake I didn't buy to a "customer " and they loved it! Ok... so now after 2 months you specifically remembered selling the cake and you know and remember to who and they loved it! I'll save you the demented lies and just let everyone know not to shop there and your views on certain customers. We're good to shop there as long as there is never an issue!

First time in a Fresh Market, but it reminded me of Gelson's Markets, which we have on the west…read morecoast. This upscale, gourmet, market offers wide isles, beautiful displays, fancier products, and higher prices. I was looking for a specific bottle of wine that my online research indicated they carried, but I wasn't able to find it on my own. I asked for assistance from one of the associates, and she went to get the "wine expert" for that store. In short time, we located the bottle and I even found another one of my favorites, which is not common for most wine/liquor stores. I also picked up a few charcuterie board items to complete my purchase. Unlike some of the other Yelp reviews, I had nothing but wonderful assistance from the staff and a great experience. I would definitely stop in again when wanting an upscale experience.

Very odd place. The selection of food is fine, especially for a smaller store. And it's nice to…read morefind some upscale things that are hard to find elsewhere. However, the staff is just...rude, indifferent, impolite. And it's not just one area. The one male cashier that is there in the afternoon/evening is just awful. He's always on his headset and laughing about some private joke with someone. I've never seen him actually speak to a customer unless it's to say something rude. The meat counter staff seem to hate their jobs and get offended if you ask for assistance. I've been told to get prepackaged items on multiple occasions. The whole point of a meat counter is that i get to select what I want?? If you want help at the deli...good luck. Overall the place could be a great little store but before I go I always debate if it's worth it to deal with the people that work there. Usually I leave feeling just yucky.

As I drove up for the first time, it was a little unnerving to know I was trusting this place with an animal I was going to eat. Then after going inside and seeing the operation and care the staff take to keep things clean, I was satisfied. - It's a Butcher Shop people, there is going to be a little blood people and a bit more when they are working! As for quality, I was told my Elk and Deer would be ready in 5 days! Perfect timing. They had it done on the 4th day called me and let me know I could pick it up on the 5th day as promised! Amazing.

Duncan's Processing sits at the end of a winding backroad, looking like it was built by someone who once saw a butcher shop in a dream and decided to wing it. The sign out front is fighting for its life, and the building itself gives off "open for business... maybe?" energy. You know that feeling when your GPS says "you've arrived" but your gut says "absolutely not"? That's Duncan's. The vibe is part farm shed, part post-apocalyptic snack stand, and zero percent reassuring. I tried looking up inspection info online -- nothing. Not a trace. Which is kind of impressive, in a cryptid sort of way. So here's the deal: if you're craving adventure, mystery, and possibly a tetanus booster, by all means swing by. But if you're craving actual meat with traceable origins, keep driving until you see something with fluorescent lighting and a health permit on the wall. I came for quality beef and left with a story that starts, "You're not gonna believe this..." Five stars for atmosphere, minus four for existential dread.
