I was referred to Stephanie Costa, FNP by a close friend who had recently seen her for Botox &…read moreraved about her results. I had been a 'Botox vagrant' for about a year after my longtime provider left RI. I tried other providers who were delivering poor results and/or had (borderline) predatory pricing. Online booking was very simple & straightforward, which I prefer to calling in for an appointment. I arrived at the office first thing the morning of my appointment & found it to be clean, discreet & well appointed. Upon my initial consultation, Stephanie listened carefully & thoughtfully to my concerns & proposed a multi step treatment plan to accomplish my goals while remaining sensitive to the costs involved, too. At this initial consultation I happened to mention some unrelated symptoms I had been dealing with. Stephanie suggested I get my hormone levels checked because my symptoms were indicative of a hormonal imbalance. Stephanie was willing to write the order to have the requisite labs drawn, something neither my PCP or GYN had been willing to do to date. My symptoms had gone largely dismissed by my healthcare team for several years, which was incredibly frustrating. Sure enough, when the results came back, I was depleted in necessary hormones that correlated with the symptoms I was experiencing. Stephanie discussed BHRT therapy with me & I elected to begin treatment last month. Thanks to Stephanie's compassion & timely diagnosis I am looking & feeling better than I have in several years. Agape has earned my loyalty & trust 10X over. I've had the Pico laser, Botox & Sottopelle therapy thus far. I have booked an appointment for Yag laser with Brianna this upcoming week in Warwick. I cannot overstate how thankful I am to have found a competent & capable medi-spa that truly listens to their patients, while delivering the highest quality care. Thank you Agape!

If you had told me a year ago that I would be writing a raving review for a medical weight loss…read moreclinic, I would have acused you of speaking crazy bunk. But here I am. And you saw my face. And I said, "Yeah, I'm a believah." Medi Weightloss Clinics. Didn't know a whole lot about it. When I drove by, it conjured up the thought of the commercials that promise to get you high-school skinny. (If I ever get there, I did save a pair of my sweet Guess? jeans with zippers on the ankles...I digress.) Then I ran into a girlfriend at work who I hadn't seen in ages. She was always cute, but now she was rocking a smoking new figure. As any gal would, I asked the secret to her new found hot body. She told about Medi and her 30 pound weight loss in four months. Right?! As a mom who had churned out three younguns in 7 years, I had a few extra .lbs to spare. I was intersted. Then - I checked the price. Totally out of my range. Something like $300 for the very first visit. Not in the budget. Living Social was my saving grace. They offered up a super great deal just prior to Thanksgiving and I jumped on it. Who diets DURING the holidays?! Me. I am a beast that enjoys a challenge. Let me be clear. This plan requires extreme mental preparedness and discipline. The first couple of days, I told my husband that I literally could have gnawed off my own forearm. It is a very restrictive caloric diet regimen to start. But once through the first week, it's been smooth sailing. I was very motivated as I was staring down the barrel of a milestone birthday and I wanted to shed my weight as a present to myself. Mission accomplished. The support is great. The starter supplements work. And I really don't think I could stick to it without the prescription for the suppresant in the beginning. Here's the thing...I am now outside the deal that I bought. I am plunking down 70 beans a week. I am invested. Don't dig into this plan unless you plan on doin' it. It will be a big, fat waste of cash. But - if you are ready. REALLY ready. I would say that this place is worth a try. They give you a full medical check-up upfront (blood work, EKG, etc.) to make sure you are ready for the program. I like that. I have done Weight Watchers which is super effective IF you follow the program and attend weekly meetings. I just don't have the time to track and to carve out an hour and a half for a feel-good session. NutriSystem. Gross. I like food too much to eat that stuff they mail you. I am at a weight that has been out of reach for me for a while. I am done with my child-bearing years and it feels good to have my body back. Not high-school skinny. But pretty rockin' it for forty. I'm digging it.

The was NOTHING that they told me that I didn't get from my primary dr. Their 'dietitian' COMPLETELY MISSED THE FACT that my wife has celiac desiese despite the full and lengthy disclosure we had submitted ahead of time. They prescribed over 6 pills per day as dietary supplements that all contain gluten! No replacements, no replies, no explanations no nothing. Please don't waste your money. The only real way to lose weight is diet and exercise!

The Doc listens to your concerns and develops a plan. After really a thorough battery of test another consultation, the plan is explained in detail. I am now down 89 pounds. I am no longer on blood pressure medicine and my a1c numbers have dropped significantly. I feel stronger and have a lot more energy. I go to IM as a supplement to my family physician as cookie cutter medicine did not have the answers I needed. My primary care physician was impressed with the testing that Dr. Petteruti performed and really impressed with the results. So much so that I only need to see her once a year. One issue I had that IM's testing showed was a high level of heavy metals. As my career was spent in manufacturing, that is not surprising. The chelation IV drips are addressing that issue. Again, my primary care doc is all on board with Dr. Petteruti's treatments. Big box medicine addresses symptoms in a wack -a- mole methodology. Dr. Petteruti addresses the root cause to help you be heathy.

I apologize for how long it is but I really don't want anyone else to experience what I did. I signed up for Fit 4 Life in Mid October of 2017, after two of my friends said that they had signed up and enjoyed it so far. I spoke to the owner, Pete, who assured me that my late schedule requirements were manageable (I work in Boston and would get back to Cranston around 7/730 pm at night). After speaking to Pete and Connor, the other trainer, I felt confident that I would finally get the workout regimen and nutritional help that I've desperately wanted for some time. I was excited to work with them and trusted that they were excited to work with me. I couldn't be more wrong. I will say both Pete and Connor are knowledgeable and the workouts I had with Connor were always great. The problem was time management and lack of communication. Multiple times, I had shown up to train with Connor and he was nowhere to be found. I would then get a text, after already having driven there and taken time out of my day, to be told that his phone had broken or that he had scheduled breakfast with his mother and that we would have to reschedule. The first time this happened, I understood. The second and third times - not so much. Another issue I had was the ways in which we communicated. I was constantly texting back and forth with Connor - but almost every single time was me reaching out to him. Every week I was sending a text making sure I knew when my appointments were. Often times, I would get a "oh sorry, I have plans I forgot about - how is Saturday?". This baffled me. First off, why am I the person always reaching out? I am the client. Secondly, a few times is fine, but every time? That is unfair to me. When I couldn't stand the inconsistency any longer, I reached out to Pete and explained how I felt. He said that he completely understood and that he would now be taking over my appointments. This made me happy - not only would they be in the early AM (5/6 am before my train to Boston) but he seemed genuinely concerned about my concerns, even making it a point to say that we would get 4 half hour sessions in a week and that he would let Connor know. I felt like he valued me as a client but, again, severely mistaken. I, once again, reached out to Pete EVERY SINGLE TIME to schedule our work outs. The first time he told me Wednesday AM was fine but never told me a time. I asked him what time worked and then he immediately responded saying Wednesdays didn't work. This was wildly confusing considering he said this directly under the text conversation we had where he said he could. We made our first appointment for a Saturday. That morning, I asked him what time I should come in because, again, he never texted me to let me know what worked. He completely ignored my text. Pete told me multiple times he would refund me because I was behind three classes. He told me, via text, that he would give me back my money but stopped texting me all together. Just completely ignored me. I ended up not going to my last two weeks because this was THE WORST experience I have ever had with a business and there was never any initiative to resolve these issues. I feel like because I paid upfront, I was seen as less important than their other clients. I see the positive reviews others have left and honestly wonder what I did to receive such an opposite experience. All in all, if you do decide to sign up make sure you do not pay until you receive the service. However, I would recommend that you just go somewhere else with people who are proven to be reliable and good business owners.
