The confirmation I received was showing the pickup date was on Oct 2nd. so another long wait on the phone to correct that. I was told that we may have to travel to one of several diffent locations which could be an hour away from the Beckley location. We wouldn't get a confirmation on the pickup location until the evening prior to getting the truck. What???? We had a three story house, basement and outbuilding to load and we might have to add 2 hours of drive time? To make a long story short we were given a truck with no oil in it and no antifreeze. The oil light come on AFTER we filled the truck up with gas. Throughout this adventure we used 11 quarts of oil and 2 gallons of antifreeze. After returning the truck in Roanoke, VA. (the truck was blowing smoke by then) I filed a formal complaint. The GM from the Beckley store attempted to call me but I missed the call. He also tried to call my husband and he too missed his call. The call back number he left in a voice mail was not a direct line to the store. It was an automated line so we were not able to speak directly to "Logan". Instead I spoke with a representative who stated he would send Logan a message to return our call. We have not received that phone call. I would like to say that I don't believe all U-Haullocations treat their customers so poorly. The Roanoke location where we returned the truck was very decent and professional to us. They too found it incredible that we were given such a crappy and dangerous vehicle to drive, shocked actually. I'll be leaving more reviews on social media and contacting the Better Business Bureau. No excuse for putting a customer in a piece of crap vehicle. I'm just glad we didn't break down on the interstate!!!

I ran out once last year. I do have a heat pump but it does not work in single digit weather which is what I explained to their agent. I plan to change companies as soon as I can.
