I was nervous as heck because I admittedly hadn't been to the dentist in some time... She was so kind and patient during my initial meeting. Answered all of my questions with no judgement. I greatly appreciated it. Especially because I was all nerves. Then I had a bunch of appointments with Dr. Horan. He was awesome! He made sure I had zero pain and was comfortable during the process! Dr. Horan and Sindy (who assisted him) calmed my nerves, and were very caring. I have also had my teeth cleaned by Trish and Sharon with a consultation with Dr. Sonntag. All were great and very informative on how to care for my teeth. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Grove Dental!

I am a Vietnam war veteran with an additional Aetna Supplemental PPO Dental plan. I am in need of…read morenew dentures, contacted Grove Dental, made appt, had 1st impression made. Office staff verified (twice) at that 1st visit that they would accept Aetna's proposal of $1,602. Ten days later I return for another fitting Now they tell me they are NOT sure I have Zero co-pay for the dentures they have listed at $4,800. I leave asking them to clarify all this. NOW, they receive confirmation from Aetna, my agent and I do a conference call, the person At Grove Dental again confirms I am and will not be liable for any Co-pay PRESENT DAY JULY 27th 9:30am I arrive for my designated appt, again the office manager tells me they have not received the confirmation from Aetna, THIS is now the 5th incident where Grove Dental has no ides what they are doing when it comes to patient rapport. HOW, many times must I or any patient put up with such incompetence where the left hand has no idea what the right hand is doing, do they not talk to each other at Grove Dental does one tech do something and not tell the others, does one office administrator do something and not write it down or tell any of the others working in the office? TODAY, the office manager wanted me to have a seat so she could go over my records, why, are yo hoping for a different result than what you already have after 5 times of quoting me and Aetna a price for your services. SORRY, you're inefficient and NOT professional when after all this time you still can't get your act together. Had this scenario bee positive and not negative I would have reconsidered writing such a scathing report... WHAT GIVES WITH GROVE DENTAL ??? Is it the money or is it complete incompetence ?

This is not a revolving door business which I appreciate. The dental hygienist does a amazing job at cleaning your teeth and giving tips. The dental assistant is great as well, she always ask what issues or concerns you may have before starting any procedures and, tells the dentist for his own knowledge. I was scared to have my teeth worked on due to sensitivity plus, prior experiences at other dentist offices. The dentist here made sure I was fully numb and, while he is working he lets you know exactly what he is doing. He's really good and pretty quick at getting your teeth or tooth taken care of. I've been seeing Dr. Latourelle for years and the quality of service I've received time and again cannot be overstated. Short waits, modern and clean facility, personable staff, etc. Dr. Latourelle is also very considerate when working; he's perfectly willing to explain what needs to be done in understandable terms and makes sure that there's no discomfort during an ongoing procedure. So long as this practice is running, I'll be going here.

I called the cardiologist who said they didn't receive a fax. The cardiologist called American Dental and they said "oh the fax didn't go through". The cardiologist said OK email it instead. It was never received!! The cardiologist called multiple times but never received anything. Over two weeks since the original appointment and nothing!! So my father suffered with pain that whole time. I called a different dentist and they got him in right away, I will NEVER go to American Dental again (I am a patient at a different location), but after this they are not getting any of my money. THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE THERE WERE ALSO LESS THAN PERSONABLE.

Five stars and close to home, so I called and left a message. Within 15 minutes, Dr. Eric Angstadt called me back. He asked if I was in pain, or if I could wait until the following day. I opted to wait. I had the pleasure of both Drs. Eric and John Angstadt attend to my broken tooth. No pain, no drilling, and it was temporarily fixed in 20 minutes! Went back a week later for a temporary crown, and once again, I had to call after-hours because of some discomfort. Dr. Eric happened to be in the office and had me come right over. A few tweaks with the drill and BAM! Problem solved! I'm not a fan of dentists, but I'm a HUGE fan of excellent customer service and response time. I also told them that there has never been an issue with me paying a bill, I have always paid at time of service. I can say I am not very happy with it. it has already popped out; I had put it back in and was able to get an appointment 2 days later and for some reason it would not come out so they did not want to force it out, so I left. just the other day it has popped out again was able to put it back in. I have had a bridge on the other side done at least 20 years ago from a dentist that has retired (reason I went to American Dental), and it has not ever popped out the way this one has from American Dental. I can also say the teeth on the bridge are a bit too big and I am sure I will continue to have the bridge pop out again. too much money to be wasted. this is very aggravating. also had an issue for my husband as he was going to have partials and the first visit the estimate was given and was paid however here to find out they would have to do some grinding of the jawbone and teeth extractions the cost was 14K he decided not to go ahead with the partial. had I not said anything (months later) I would have never got our money back. I even had to get the insurance company involved. they never even submitted the claim to the insurance company (even though it would have been declined) until after the insurance company got involved months later, we did get the money back. I have since found another dentist and they are wonderful. they even can-do crowns in the same day, no waiting. I would avoid American Dental Solutions if at all possible.
