We have two small children, still in diapers, and the family changing room is either filled with single people showering or beyond filthy. We pulled the changing table down one day to discover mouse droppings on it. When I informed the front desk, i was told there's nothing they could do about it as they were understaffed. This was the same response when I mentioned waiting 10 minutes for a shower with my kids when they are clearly being used by those without children. The hot tub has been closed numerous times in the past 6 months and when I called recently to ask before we visited the Pool, another stellar response was "It's open now, but knowing your luck it will be closed by the time you get here." The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the Pool is ideal for my younger children and the lifeguards are always very kind to them. We're pretty disappointed to say the least about the front desk staff as well as family changing room and will start visiting and spending our money at another facility.

I had such a relaxing afternoon at Evergreen Lake. It's only about 30 minutes from downtown Denver,…read moremaking it an easy getaway without spending hours in the car. The main parking lot was full when we arrived, but the overflow parking was surprisingly easy. There was someone at the entrance directing cars, handing out the shuttle address, and answering questions. The free shuttle arrived within minutes, had air conditioning, and dropped us off right at the lake. The atmosphere is what makes this place special. It's clean, family-friendly, and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. You can bring your own kayak, paddleboard, canoe, or other non-motorized watercraft, or rent one there. Life jackets are required and rentals have time limits, but everything was well organized. The water was a little browner than I expected, with some natural tree limbs and debris floating around, and swimming isn't allowed. That said, it didn't take away from the experience. Most people were fishing, paddling around with friends, or simply floating and soaking in the views. If you're looking for a peaceful way to spend an afternoon outdoors, this is a great spot. I had a really good time and will definitely be back.

She tailored our ride to how "spicy" we wanted to make it, so since it was our first time rafting, that made us feel great. The trip was the perfect level of excitement for us as beginners. It was fun, thrilling, and adventurous without ever feeling overwhelming. My sons, ages 10 and 13, had an absolute blast and want to plan another trip back. We even got to see a bald eagle along the river, it was phenomenal. The weather was perfect, and the whole experience was incredibly well organized. It's also just under two hours from Denver, making it a great day trip. We really appreciated the free parking, and they kept our car keys safely in the office while we were out on the river. We felt completely comfortable leaving everything else locked in our car. We couldn't have asked for a better first rafting experience. I was so nervous walking in, but from the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Our guide, Koa, was the perfect balance of fun, kind, and incredibly skilled. He guided us through the rapids with such confidence and ease while also making sure everyone felt safe and included. He checked in on us several times throughout and made sure we were having fun, asked us if we wanted to "spice it up" a bit or keep it mellow and just really let us know this was "our" trip and he's cater to what we wanted. I quickly found myself letting go of fear and enjoying the moment... something I didn't expect would happen. Koa's energy was contagious, and his calm, respectful nature made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. At one point on the river, another rafting company had a mishap and we had to pull over and wait for them to recover and get their riders back into the raft safely. Koa explained what had happened with total grace - no judgment, no gossip - just a calm and respectful explanation. He also spoke so kindly of his own coworkers and even the owner of Liquid Descent. You could tell he genuinely cares about the rafting community and takes pride in his work and LOVES his Liquid Descent family! Every employee we encountered was friendly, encouraging, and helpful - from getting us fitted with helmets and life jackets to cheering us on as we headed out. As someone who started out nervous, that kind of supportive vibe made a huge difference. They encouraged me, and they helped me push past my comfort zone in the best way possible. What a GREAT memory! We will remember this day not only for the thrill of the rapids, but for the kindness and heart of the people who guided us through it! They were having a celebration of life today and I got there early so parking was fine but the parking lot was completely full by the time I left. I walked the meadow and forest trails for a total of 1.3 miles. Saw three beautiful bucks. The staff was all very nice and helpful and they have great guides on paper and maps and activities for kids.

Nothing much more to do or see but the view of the far away town and hills. It has a small museum at the look out. A nice trail to hike nothing to crazy. We didn't spend much time here at this mountain. We spent more time at Red Rock Theatre. But we did capture some great photos while on the visit. It's was not a far drive to get to the mountain from the gas station we stop at, it was like 10-14 miles away. (it kind of remind me of the parking lot that's at the end of Galveston island, and looking out at the ocean.)

The staff was great. It's fun to come here during the day too and hike the trails at the park. It's beautiful. They close the amphitheatre on days when there is a concert so beware.
