Initially, I was so impressed by this facility, but in the past year things have started to…read moredecline. The staff can be rude and extremely condescending. We have two small children, still in diapers, and the family changing room is either filled with single people showering or beyond filthy. We pulled the changing table down one day to discover mouse droppings on it. When I informed the front desk, i was told there's nothing they could do about it as they were understaffed. This was the same response when I mentioned waiting 10 minutes for a shower with my kids when they are clearly being used by those without children. The hot tub has been closed numerous times in the past 6 months and when I called recently to ask before we visited the Pool, another stellar response was "It's open now, but knowing your luck it will be closed by the time you get here." The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the Pool is ideal for my younger children and the lifeguards are always very kind to them. We're pretty disappointed to say the least about the front desk staff as well as family changing room and will start visiting and spending our money at another facility.

There was a wedding going on at the lake house that we could see from the lake. We loved being able to walk from the lake to the town. Overall recommend besides the price, especially because the lake is kind of small. And we couldn't check out the lake house because of the wedding, so there's only outhouses for the bathroom.

I was so nervous walking in, but from the moment we arrived, every single staff member made us feel welcomed, safe, and supported. Our guide, Koa, was the perfect balance of fun, kind, and incredibly skilled. He guided us through the rapids with such confidence and ease while also making sure everyone felt safe and included. He checked in on us several times throughout and made sure we were having fun, asked us if we wanted to "spice it up" a bit or keep it mellow and just really let us know this was "our" trip and he's cater to what we wanted. I quickly found myself letting go of fear and enjoying the moment... something I didn't expect would happen. Koa's energy was contagious, and his calm, respectful nature made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. At one point on the river, another rafting company had a mishap and we had to pull over and wait for them to recover and get their riders back into the raft safely. Koa explained what had happened with total grace - no judgment, no gossip - just a calm and respectful explanation. He also spoke so kindly of his own coworkers and even the owner of Liquid Descent. You could tell he genuinely cares about the rafting community and takes pride in his work and LOVES his Liquid Descent family! Every employee we encountered was friendly, encouraging, and helpful - from getting us fitted with helmets and life jackets to cheering us on as we headed out. As someone who started out nervous, that kind of supportive vibe made a huge difference. They encouraged me, and they helped me push past my comfort zone in the best way possible. What a GREAT memory! We will remember this day not only for the thrill of the rapids, but for the kindness and heart of the people who guided us through it! If you are considering rafting in Colorado, go with Liquid Descent. I'm so glad we did!

We parked, bundled up, took a short walk, captured unforgettable photographs and simply sat on a bench taking in all the surrounding beauty and epic scenic views. We highly recommend the Lariat scenic root drive. One of the great things we did on our final day in Denver.

Nothing much more to do or see but the view of the far away town and hills. It has a small museum at the look out. A nice trail to hike nothing to crazy. We didn't spend much time here at this mountain. We spent more time at Red Rock Theatre. But we did capture some great photos while on the visit. It's was not a far drive to get to the mountain from the gas station we stop at, it was like 10-14 miles away. (it kind of remind me of the parking lot that's at the end of Galveston island, and looking out at the ocean.)

We were in town for spring break so we wanted to drop by and check it out. We arrived on a Thursday early evening. Red Rocks Amphitheater is located 10 miles southwest of Denver in the beautiful town of Morrison, CO. Parking is accessible all around the amphitheater. There was no concert scheduled that night. We were hoping to catch the sunset but unfortunately we missed it. The lighting was still great for pictures though. We parked by the Upper South Lot. From there it was a moderate 10 minute walk to the south ramp of the venue. During the walk the views of the valley is stunning. Once we made it inside the outdoor amphitheater, I was in awe of the beauty and ambiance of the Red Rocks amphitheater. The majestic backdrop of the red rocks was definitely something I have never seen before for a concert venue. It was unique and beautiful. We were able to start from the bottom of the stage area and make our way to the top. It was a nice workout climbing up the seats steps. From the top, the different angle view of the amphitheater and backdrop was amazing as well. Overall we enjoyed our time exploring Red Rocks amphitheater. It was a one of a kind experience. Unfortunately the visitor center was closed and we did not see a live concert at the venue. We hope to be back again so we can attend a concert.
