I can't go out on a Friday now without getting knocking a chav around (I won't be pushed around by lippy kids with attitude). Other nights are great. Saturdays are more mature, slightly older crowd (suits me a bit). More friendly. The upstairs floor is cheesy & 90's music, fantastic. Ice floor can get a bit chavvy with commercial (slit my wrists) r & b. They do throw some trance/dance anthems in there to rave to though. They have brilliant theme nights if you pick wisely. Prices vary MASSIVELY. On large events & saturdays you're looking around £4 for a pint/bottle, sometimes going to £5 depending on the night. Thursdays are well cheap. Security is great though (I know some of them). Very tight, very strict and there's a lot.

It's a swanky bar and relatively spacious, the music from the decent DJs supplying both a mix of dance and urban cuts. The thing that generally puts me off - and why I'm probably not the intended audience in the first place - is the 'footballers wives' vibe it gives off. I'm not into my footie, so I wouldn't recognise the much purported cameos from Villa FC players - however, there are lots of glam, slightly orange women 'coyly' approaching the blokes in smart threads at the bar and suddenly I'm humming the tune to that Amy Winehouse tune 'F### Me Pumps' as it could have been written about this place. Overlooking the rainbow arena and warehouse spaces of the city this is a venue with a view as well as some seriously good music.
