I first came across this boutique after the recent Yelp event (which was extremely fun and…read morefabulous!) and, after having a wee trial of their 'Hot Wax' waxing system, I decide to pay them another visit for a spot of pampering and de-fuzzing! I was extremely well looked after from the minute I arrived, and the salon room was clean, well decorated and very relaxing! Now, I will not go into details about the actual treatment (there are some aspects of girly grooming that really need to remain a secret!) but the hot wax felt strangely nice, and while it wasn't entirely pain-less, it was certainly nicer than my past waxing experiences! After my treatment I was given after-care advice, and they followed up with an e-mail to make sure I knew what I was doing. I liked it so much I booked my return visit on the spot! In addition to the pampering side, the Boutique also has a wonderful lingerie/swimwear shop, and carries a range of very beautifully designed 'toys' which would look more at home on a stylish coffee table, than in the bottom drawer of you bedside table! The lingerie, products and salon treatments are more expensive than I would normally pay, however, the warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the staff and general gorgeousness of the Boutique will keep me coming back again and again!

This is seriously gorgeous lingerie and they are high end labels: Pleasure State, Stella McCartney, Fauve, Mimi Holiday as well as Fantasie and more. It's the lingerie that lures me in and they cater for all sizes which is fab and not always found on the high street. You do pay more for these brands but the quality and service is excellent. If you are larger in the bust department, then this is the place to come for some seriously sexy undies. Sarah, the owner can provide fittings if required and if you don't see your size then just ask as it may be in the stock room. A good range of bra size swimwear, as well as beauty treatments is also available. The sale is great - a proper sale with fab discounts and after the weekend, my bank account is pretty depleted. What's not to love!?

Based on the Multrese Walk it does give it a certain exclusivity that I don't think it deserves as really it's just another high street chain but because the bigger the boobs the most luxurious your underwear gets (true fact) then it deserves its place catering for the masses, get it? The staff were helpful if not concerned about my emotional wellbeing and helped me out with some wonderful gift vouchers which my friend said didn't stretch very far (ungrateful cow) but then again, it's a pricey place and I'm a skinflint, luckily I don't have big boobs to support.

The only sizes carried in "typical" stores start at a size 30 band and go up to like a DDD maybe. Most women think they are a 32-36 B, C, or D. In the majority of cases, this is wrong. We are also taught that a "DD cup" is like WHOA THAT'S SO HUGE when it is not. It depends on the band size. Someone can wear, say, a 28FF, and that person looks "normal". An FF is not some insanely huge size--although most women would never imagine they could be an FF--it doesn't even sound like a real size to us!! It sounds outrageous, because that's what we've been taught. Go to the site Brabandproject to see what real bra sizes look like. The earlier review from Eleanor is a *perfect* example of this. She doesn't believe she could be a 28FF and says she'll keep wearing a 32D since that's what she can find in stores. Then she insinuates that Bravissimo has a racket to make women think they need bras they can only find in Bravissimo. I really hope no one takes this to heart. It is very incorrect advice. Look, it's totally messed up that stores don't stock bras in the sizes we need. Unfortunately, women who wear these sizes have to order them online. Don't give up and keep wearing the wrong size because you will only buy a bra you can buy in person in a store. Order online. You'll get used to it. Visit the reddit subreddit "abrathatfits" if you want to read TONS of information about correct bra sizing. /end soapbox Anyway, if you are from the US and happen to be visiting the UK, I urge you to get a bra fitting at a Bravissimo. I went in the morning and was able to meet with someone after just a couple minutes. You go into a fitting room with your staffer and you take off your shirt and they start bringing you bras until you find one that fits. They are experts at knowing what makes for a perfectly fitting bra. The women I worked with was great. (The size I was already wearing wasn't too far off because I'd done my own measuring years ago after studying reddit's /r/abrathatfits.) After we determined the correct size, I shopped a little on my own and picked out another bra. They range in prices, but mine were around...40 pounds, I think. They carry Bravissimo brand and other brands too, like Panache. They also carry swimsuits. The bottom floor of the store has clothing that's made to fit curvy women. Such an amazing idea!! Definitely stop by if you've never had a proper bra fitting!!

No matter how classy they try to make themselves they are all essentially up market sex shops. Whenever I see the red silk slips and the lacy thongs with suspenders I just think of one of those cheesy old movies where the femme fatale announces that she is going to "slip into something a little more comfortable." Oh dear. I don't know why but these shops just make me cringe beyond belief. This one is right in the middle of Clarkston, right next to the ice-cream shop and the primary school it just sticks out like a sore thumb and seems really inappropriately placed. The last thing you want is to bump into your neighbour walking his dog while you step out with a pair of suspenders. The changing rooms are a little small but they are tucked in so that no-one ever need see you trying on your bra. Some of the bras are very pricey but the others are the same as buying in Debenhams, with a much better service. If they don't have your size they will order in for you. Once being fitted (and they suggest a quick check before buying any bra) you are shown a selection of styles and prices, and never forced into buying the dear ones!! Highly recommend for a decent fitting- it makes all the difference.

I just fit in at the small end of Bravissimo's scale, being fairly slim, but with a proportionally large cest (sigh...it's a hard life) so I find some of their bras a bit too extremely controlling for me. During the summer, they do a range of supportive-but-still-cool swimwear, and a small range of clothes for those of us that have that annoying gaping shirt buttons problem. Sorted.

For years, I've had to go for plain ones because the other option was full cup granny bras. Horrifying! Lingerie shopping has often been a vastly traumatising experience, best avoided until absolutely necessary. And then Bravissimo opened up and the world was a brighter, lacier place! Not only were they able to size me properly and fit me with the first comfortable bra I can remember wearing since puberty, but they actually have a nice and colourful selection! Amazing! Unfortunately once you get to anything above a C-cup, braziers don't come cheap. They start at about £20, but tend to average around £30 - £40. Sad for the budget, but you do pay for quality (gone are the days when Debenhams bras would burst and stab me with underwire). Bravissimo have their own line of lingerie, but also have stock from designers such as Masquerade who make some very pretty bras and knickers. The service level from the ladies in this shop is just amazing. You can make an appointment for a fitting, so you are rarely kept waiting. Even if you just want to be seen to as soon as possible, they always give you waiting times, and there are plenty of comfy seats while you wait. The fitter will ask you what style and colour you're looking for, and will bring back a selection after the initial sizing to try on. It's always reassuring that they bring back more than one size in the different styles, as manufacturers seem to differ in their measurements. Additionally, the fitters really put you at ease, and always ask if you want them to leave the room while you change bra. Some other places can leave you feeling a wee bit awkward. I've been frequenting this shop since it opened, and with this level of service and good selection, it's unsurprising that they'll continue to see me come through their doors (hopefully) for years to come. If you've ever had trouble with your undergarments, these ladies can sort you out!

They stock Quicksilver and Roxy girls clothing, as well as Tony Hawk branded gear. It's a small store, but packed full of cute summer clothes and beautiful luggage. It's a shop I frequent more to covet items in than to actually shop at, but for that much, it's worth it to me. The staff are lovely and helpful, and if you're looking for something specific will probably prove to be very knowledgeable. I haven't come in here shopping for snowboarding gear, but I did have a conversation with one of the staff and they knew what they were talking about. Personally I love the luggage, sunglasses, and summer clothing ranges they stock here. Well this is a first - I don't think i've ever written a review on a change room before…read more.. I popped into White Stuff this evening for a blogger event. Besides the fact that their name is ridiculous, and cannot be used in every day conversation without it sounding completely dirty (I have the brain of a five year old, so sue me), it's a really exquisitely presented shop that carries less exquisite, but decent basics. Honestly, this little place isn't my jam for clothing. There's a whole "fancy t-shirt and jeans" element of current fashion that just alludes me. I don't get fancy t-shirts. It's a t-shirt....??? But that being said, I WOULD go back and try on a fancy t-shirt, just so I could hang out in the very funky change rooms (that is less creepy then it sounds). These are the funkiest change rooms that ever there were. Each little room is behind a wardrobe door and each has it's own theme. The Alice in Wonderland obsessed lady that I am, I was hooked from the first surprise. From a stuffed animal clad room, to a forest and a 1950's kitchen (?), each are impeccably down and well worth the snoop. I feel sorry for the folks who have to go in during open hours, as I'm sure they are less encouraged to just start opening doors. But the one that really got me was a little under sea themed room that was a contest winner designed by a 12 year old girl. HOW CUTE IS THAT?! They took her drawing and played it out perfectly, down to the live fish that they feed every morning. It's as cute as a bug's ear and a lovely little sound bite from our tour. So i'm a fan. Of their change rooms. Change rooms that are worthy of a four star review just on their own. As to the rest of the store? Though the clothing didn't strike my fancy, there's some great accessories that might have me stopping back. They seem to be a bit less expensive then some of the other finds (except for the shoes that caught my eye, but isn't that always the case?). It's a good spot for a nice scarf or accent jewelry.

Sometimes I find their stuff to be a bit 'same-same'.. I can tell a piece from White Stuff, a mile away.. But sometimes that's what you need for wardrobe basics. No one's reinventing the t shirt! But this is one of the few places you might find one in mustard yellow.. If you're into that kinda stuff.. (A girl can only own so many grey t-shirts..) What I do like about White Stuff is their 30 day return policy, even on sale items. Not all stores are created equal in this area. The pièce de resistance in this store has to be the change rooms. A hallway of wardrobes that open into different themed rooms, from a bathroom to a gift store to an underwater reef! Yes it's a chain, yes it's a bit generic, but their stuff is well made and if you wait till they have a sale on, it can be pretty reasonable.
