This isn't a "free-for-all" for any dog owner to bring their dog as they can a regular outdoor dog park. This is more of a daycare/boarding facility and you will need to provide shot records. You can bring them for one day but there is a fee. When you call to inquire, Neil will first schedule your dog(s) for a free "consultation" where he sees how the dog's temperament is, how he/she is with other dogs, etc. If you decide to bring your dog here, you'll need your dogs shot records for rabies and Bordetella. Neil, Sara and Devin are so good with the dogs. There is a huge indoor area to run around, play, and do what dogs do. Our two medium size dogs love coming here -- they literally jump at the door to go in when we first arrive in the morning! As soon as they see one of the staff members, they get excited and run to greet them! When I pick them up after work they are tired out and sleep for the rest of the night!!! Prices are great as well and there are discounts for multiple dogs. HOURS: Monday thru Friday from 7 am to 6 pm Saturday, Sunday: Boarding only -- but are sometimes open for daycare. Let me start off by saying, I missed my trip cause of these animals (owners Devyn, Neil, office…read moremanager) and was charged $400 to keep my GSD for one day. I prepaid $300 (six days) for a suite (never do that with them, they will scam you). They saw the dog ahead of time and approved his stay. (I specified to them nobody would take my dog in since he's not neutered/trained). I dropped him off @ 10 am and had to catch a flight in NY. At 4 pm I get a text saying dog has anxiety and there are damages. They self-assessed damages @ $100 and charged my card without my consent. Next morning @ 9 am I picked up my dog all crippled, dehydrated, and weak from a small crate instead of a suite. Neil (the husband) began to upsell their training services and stated my $250 credit can be used towards that. When I declined, then the response was well then we'll use that money for the damages that are really no more than $100. They were also moving him (dog) from crate to crate to justify the damages. I paid for a bigger space and if the dog was nervous he should of been confined to one suite (not crate). They made all of the wrong decisions and dumped it all on me. Rover is a better alternative in my opinion. When the dog was brought back home he was severely dehydrated. (there was no water in the crate). Drank for 5 min non stop. They kept him without water overnight. I lost thousands of dollars on my flight, hotel, dog boarding. Dog was hospitalized for the first time in his 4.5 years. My attorney discouraged any reviews but I don't want anyone else getting hurt.

I stayed in the organized group camping area and loved how the sites that we booked allowed for plenty of tents to spread out within your group. We stayed in J, K and L. Last year there were porter potties and this year there was a bathhouse. Sadly there were no showers, the family bathroom was locked all weekend, and maintence getting to the bathroom was not good. Wehad to walk through a field of knee high grass to get there. During peak tick season, this was not ideal. Lastly, quiet hours apparently do not exist this is area of camping. Groups around us were chanting and singing before 5am and had an intense volleyball match at 6am. Boyscotts camped near us and were up late screaming until 12am. There needs to be more ranger presence, this truly altered our experience. The state park itself has great hiking and swimming area but the organized group sites were very mismanaged.

The hike was moderate, highly recommend hiking boots, as its down hill short trial, but well worth the view of the 25 foot water fall. Perfect early week activity, and best of all was free to visit, not like the state parks in NY.

We were allowed to decorate, both indoors & outdoors, the tables & chairs were provided by the facility so you can set them up accordingly to how many guest and the type of celebration. We had approximately 200 guest, our celebration was for a BBQ wedding reception. Many of the guest complimented how spacious and roomy the venue they chose, they were delighted to see there was a playground just a few yards for the children to play and within eye's view from the main lodge. There is a small outdoor stage for entertainment but there is no shade or covering for the entertainers/musicians, granted you can provide a pop up tent if necessary. Inside the Lodge there is a small stage loft with lots of room for tables chairs and dancing.. The outside of the main lodge, is a wrap around deck for plenty of room to sets extra tables and chairs or hang out at the banister and listen to the music. Plenty of room to mingle with friends and meet the new family. The main lodge has its own male/female bathrooms,a kitchen, fridge, stove, oven there is a center island table for cutting or prepping, there is hot & cold water but no dishwasher so you will need to bring your kitchen amenities such as dish soap, trash bags etc. The location is well kept and clean as well as the playground equipment. was very happy & delighted to have such a wonderful venue to share with my family, my new family and friends for this memorable event.

This is actually one enormous dog park split into three fenced-in areas! Which is great for small…read moredogs who are spooked by big dogs, dogs who play too rambunctiously, or anyone looking to do some dog training outside of the house. One of the enclosures has more trees providing shade than the other, which is where the dogs tend to be. There is water available for the pups in all of the areas, as well as bags for picking up their poo. It's also great that the park is so near to the trail that runs along the railroad, so that you can take your pooch on a walk before/after/instead of playing in the park. It's a little tough to find, not visible from Illick's Mill Road. It's behind Memorial Pool, down the hill from the ice rink.

When my mom was little they had a zoo here, which thankfully closed and is now used as a cat adoption shelter, among other things. The waterfall is legendary and gorgeous. Take your time here to explore, walk, and take in the history. The waterfall and pond is a bit of a slippery walk on some rocks to get to but so worth it! The rest of the trails and pathways are easy.

The trails are quite nice and it's always nice to walk to some waterfalls, particularly when it's hot out. There's a good amount of trails and there's plenty of parking all around the park. Six miles of asphalt trail surround Lake Galena. It is handicapped friendly. Plenty of benches along the path to sit and watch the water activities. We will be back later in the season to check out the wooded trails. We took a short walk then drove around to the other side where there were pavilions and a nature center whcih I will discuss in a separate review. From our brief visit, this Doylestown park has a lot to offer. Fishing, boating, picnicking, birdwatching and more. We will be back for sure to explore more.

It's a beautiful place but I have to deduct stars because they allow hunting and I just don't consider that to be normal or ethical. Nor was what me and your mother did last night.
