I LOVE Wright Physical Therapy. I injured my neck in the early 90s. I was recommended to chiropractors for years. The treatments never lasted, they worked temporarily. I had headaches, dizziness, rock hard shoulder muscles (not in a good way). Since working with the team at Wright Physical Therapy I not only feeling better and out of pain I have learned so much about my neck. Bryan & Tyler taught me two things that changed my life. They were the fact that the muscles in my neck had atrophied over all the years and you could literally feel straight to the bones. Second was that I compensated by hinging my movements all at the base of my head. I thought this was normal all these years. With this education and the physical therapy I am aware on my posture and my movements so that I can catch myself compensating and correct it. I have muscle in my neck now and cannot feel the bones anymore. I am out of pain and do not get dizzy anymore. This is a huge blessing. After a life changing horse accident, that left me with a fractured C1, a broken neck and broken back, being fused from C3 to T6, a broken sternum and broken ribs, I was very reluctant to start physical therapy. As I walked into the office, I was greeted with smiles and the atmosphere was very friendly and caring. Bryan was very knowledgeable in what was needed for my recovery. He was able to get my range of motion back to almost normal, and helped me get my muscles working again. I am so pleased with this facility. The two other therapists who worked with me were Tyler and Cliff. They were very knowledgeable and helpful also. My accident also caused me to have bouts of vertigo that come at no warning. Bryan came to the office after hours to treat me by doing the Epley maneuver. I can't thank Bryan and his staff enough for giving me my life back. I can play with my grandchildren and I even got back on the horse who bucked me off! I am enjoying my life again, thanks to Wright Physical Therapy. I had my first experience with Wright PT as a result of a snowmobile accident that ruptured the posterior cruciate ligament in my knee. At the time, the specialist I saw suggested physical therapy. My husband, a past patient of Wright PT, strongly encouraged me to go there based on his positive results. Sylvan Johnson PT, DPT, was appointed my director of physical therapy who examined my particular condition and developed a recovery plan. Treatment is continuing with continued improvement in my Conditioning, Balance, and Coordination as well as programs and exercises at home. I just finished six weeks of PT here today. I had pain in both of my wrists from falling on them, and this was my first experience with physical therapy. I was pleasantly surprised by how my pain improved and how much I actually enjoyed the process. They worked me hard, but everyone I worked with was friendly and made me feel comfortable. My physical therapist was Dr. Alex White, and he was great at listening to me describe my pain and adjusting my exercises to help me improve.
