I was in shock and explained it must be a mistake and asked him to allow me to call them before he took the car. I did and this incredible nasty man gets on the phone with and says I must allow them to take the car and whoever I talked to was mistaken. I explained I was there day before and had a written pay off and the car was actually in probate so the title would be put in my name. He said I had 15 days to get a letter of authority from probate court and pay off the loan or they would sell it at public auction!! It added insult to injury after losing my mom and was still in shock. I thought I had done the right thing by keeping payments current and letting them no I wanted to pay off the loan and even arrange the date. They were ugly and nasty and made a already awful situation in my life even worse. If the payments had been behind, Then I could had understood this but being I was there in good faith the day before? I called my lawyer and he expeditied the letter of authority through probate when he found out they took the car. They sent me a certified letter and gave me the pay off and added 400 dollars for the repo charge? I go down with cashier check in hand and my letter of authority and then tried to say I owed 20.00 bucks more? I could not believe this? Then they release the lean and I drive to Huber Heights to collect my car and the repo guy told me when he took car tehre would no charge on there end for holding the car and find out they want 200 in cash only? When driving home I start to notice a strange noise? I discovered after taking my car to my repair guy that the noise was my tire and I had just months ago had all brand new tires put on the car. He said one tire had a huge dropping bald spot? When I asked what caused that, He said he had only seen this in repo situations where they drug the car off of trailer. So now, I have to replace the tire. My advice to anyone is avoid Day Air Credit Union as there not professional and there behavior was at best shady.

No calls, no text, nothin. just taking half my payments to put towards this insurance I never even got a card or anything else for. I would NOT ever get a loan with these people unless you want to repeatedly deal with unprofessional service. Also, 2 years ago I had to close my account with them due to taking out 2-3 payments a month randomly without my consent.

However, had a jarring experience recently that is causing me to question whether I should continue with them. As is usual, my wife went to deposit a business check from another local bank branch. We do this once a month or so. This time, however, check was put on hold. Same check amount, once a month from my business to our personal account to cover household expenses. Never have bounced a check, never missed a payment to them on anything. And every deposit ever made has gone through. They've never lost a dime on me. Thought this was probably just a new person, we normally do this on Friday but this month couldn't get there until Saturday. Call the CU on Monday... no matter which number I call - 800 number, different local branches, they all go to the same phone system. I enter my account number "for better service" and system then hangs up on me. I press 0 and don't enter account number, hangs up on me. After about 10 different iterations, gave up and send them an email. I have to work so don't have time to go there in person this morning. This has been infuriating! I recognize society has become more impersonal and that we all have to struggle through everyone's automated system, just expected something slightly better from my local credit union. We've had nothing but issue after issue even a little while before they did the whole 'upgrade' on their system-which has been nothing but a disaster. Once they did the 'upgrade' I wasn't able to access call24 anymore, and when I tried to get it corrected by talking to a real person, nope... that was a no go, they said there was nothing they could do on their end to help either. The U1 visa card situation is a complete nightmare. They really just need to get their act together, after all they are dealing with other peoples money...they don't act like it though, not at all. On more than one occasion they made us feel like we were stealing their money (we have a secured credit card with them!-that is 100% our money we put up on that card! I'm sick of it. The last straw, they closed my card- no warning-nothing, before I even have the new card in my mailbox. We had no idea one was on the way, no contact about this at all. I go to use my card, declined. I called thinking it was fraud detection, nope, they said my card had been cancelled, and a new one was on the way.

Let the truth be told my money your malfunctioning ATM your not giving me nothing with all do respect your fixing your mistake. I was there on buisiness to retrieve what I work my job to pay my bills while on the phone with the lady reporting what had happen made it clear that I was making another transaction to retrieve the money I came to get to pay a bill in the first place entitled to worked for it. She agreed I proceeded let her know that transaction went well. I received a letter saying they want me to pay them back $ 250. You have a camera right there you know how much money you feel the ATM with correct ,follow me now called my branch spoke with a teller by the name of Sheryl very nasty diposition from a customer point of view. She tried to tell me I had no money in my account which check was freshly deposited got proof would not let me speak with some one with the power to get to fix there mistake.
