When the technician arrived, my wife answered the door and he didn't introduce himself -- he simply stood there and bluntly said "you got a leak." After she acknowledged, he walked into the house without any professionalism or courtesy. He did not wear shoe covers or take any basic steps to respect our home. The leak detection diagnosis he provided turned out to be completely wrong. Based on his direction, I ended up taking apart a large portion of my kitchen -- removing granite countertops and cabinets -- only to later discover the leak was nowhere near where he said it was. This caused unnecessary disruption, time, and expense. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and incorrect diagnosis was extremely frustrating. I expect the company to review this situation, explain how this happened, and reach out to discuss how they intend to make this right. I will be documenting this issue and filing a complaint with Florida consumer protection authorities as well as escalating this to Mr Rooter corporate if it is not addressed. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company for leak detection until this matter is properly resolved. I will update this review based on the company's response.

He said he could come out that day but it would be after 5 which was OK with us. The only thing I asked him was to please wear a mask and he said okay. He never showed up. We postponed our dinner waiting for him and by 6:30pm he was still a no show. So I called him to find out what happened and left a message on his voicemail. He never called back. I don't know if it was because I asked him to wear a mask but I cannot understand how anyone could be so inconsiderate as to leave me waiting for hours and not bothering to return my call. If it was, indeed, because of the mask question, he could have said no when I was talking to him. Just unprofessional across the board. If you need a reliable, knowledgeable, and responsive plumber, don't call Prefab Plumbing; call Satsuma Plumbing instead.
