We had a bad coolant leak on a 2009 Toyota while in Port Aransas. I topped off the coolant, but only just barely made it past the ferry to Aransas Pass before the temp went up, so I stopped and called for a tow to Wright Brothers. We got there right at closing time, but I was able to tell them what was going on and hand them the keys. We had an unplanned overnight stay, but Keith called in the morning to let me know what the issue was. Long story short, he wasn't able to get the part quickly, and had to do a temporary fix to get us safely back to San Antonio on a Friday. Work was done right after lunch, as promised, and he even gave me a ride from the hotel to get the car. I am very grateful to the shop for caring that I would be able to get my family home today without me having to rent a car and come back next week. read more

Rick, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with; as opposed to every other shop I have dealt with. He explains the problem, solutions, is timely, and very fair pricing. My Hummer had all sorts of dash lights on and he worked through several issues to have it running better than ever and at a modest cost. Great experience!!! Honest Fast and did a great job on 2 of my vehicles. Shop is shorthanded because of the current employment conditions in America including Aransas Pass. Rick and Teresa let me know in advance it could take longer than usual. They not only got 2 of my vehicles in and out much quicker than i expected both cars where fixed right the first time and saved me money doing the work for 1/2 the price of the dealership. I live in Aransas Pass and had gotten my car repaired at Wright Brothers once before. I was satisfied with the service, so I recommended them to my stepson who was 18 at the time. He took it to them to get his parking brake fixed so that he could pass his yearly inspection. While it was at their shop, someone came into their parking lot overnight, cut his battery connections, and stole his battery. They called and let him know that it had happened, said that it was not their fault, and charged him full price to replace the battery and fix the connections so that he could drive it off the lot. They were rude and unapologetic about it when he tried to tell them that the repair sounded expensive. I can't remember exactly what they charged him, but it was over $100. So they made a little extra money out of him, but I will have a car towed to Corpus Christi before I ever do business with them again. If you use them, you are taking a risk if anything goes wrong. This happened a while ago, about 1.5 years ago (around christmas time 2013), but I was just reviewing another business online, remembered this, and wanted to warn others about them. read more

My family and my extended family who live in and around Aransas Pass take our vehicles to the Wright Brothers. They've always called us with estimates, before ordering parts, and to confirm costs, and update us of the status of our work order if it has taken any more than a couple of days. They are friendly and fair with their pricing, never charging exorbitant amounts of money for labor and such like the larger commercial motor companies do, and they don't go around looking for 'extras' to fix when you've taken your vehicle in for one thing specific. We've never had any problems with their work or with our vehicles being kept at their business. I would recommend them to anyone. read more
