If I could give this company only one star, I would. This company pays their artists to write good reviews in order to increase bookings. This email soliciting 5 star reviews in exchange for $5 each, was shared with me through a chain of friends, and I felt that it was important to warn others. This disrespects customers, and is not good business practice. I truly feel sorry for the artists who received this!-- it's like saying, you're not good enough to earn reviews, so just write your own. Horrible, predatory, and just plain bad. Purchasing reviews is a practice that needs to be exposed, no matter who is doing it. And look closely at these 5 star reviews, even the owner of the company wrote one for himself. It's such a slap in the face to customers-- like saying I care so little, you won't even notice if I write my own 5 star review. Wow. Just-- wow. Here is an excerpt from Yelp's own terms of service: "You represent and warrant that you will not, and will not authorize or induce any other party, to: offer incentives of any kind, such as discounts, freebies, refunds, gift cards, contest entries, offers, or deals in exchange for the posting of reviews of your Business...solicit or ask for reviews from your customers; write reviews or vote on Content (e.g., voting user reviews as useful, funny, or cool) for your Business or your Business's competitors; pay or induce anyone to post... or otherwise attempt to circumvent Yelp's Recommendation Software (defined below) or fraud detection systems..." And yet, I saw in one of the reviews that was "removed for violating terms of use" someone else posted this screenshot of the company soliciting reviews, a "Deby J" posted this, and Yelp removed the entire review. What does that tell us? Also, this is a small observation-- but this listing says that the company has been operating in Denver since 1995. My friend was an event planner who started working in Denver in 2000, and she clearly remembers when Artsy Events came on the scene, several years after she started her event company in 2000. Very, very strange. I'm sure some of their artists work hard and do a very nice job. Working with kids and being an artist is hard work! Kudos to them. But no one should have to compromise their integrity by working for such a company. read more

I LOVE these guys and gals!! I have been working with Sean for many years and keep bringing him back every year and adding to our festival. He has made great suggestions to me to bring in new and fresh ideas each year that I hadn't thought of! Always polite, friendly, and work until they get the last of the lines in to the best they can! We booked an artist from Artsy Events to face paint and do balloons at my daughter's 7th birthday party and it was a hit! All the kids loved it! Cher was very nice, professional and was able to paint 15 kids' faces and make balloons for all of them in the 2 hour party! I was able to schedule a face painter/ balloon twister 2 days before the party. When Judy arrived, she was enthusiastic, professional and great with both kids and adults.
