I visited Jess today for the first time to get my bushy eyebrows fixed. I've been growing my eyebrows out for a couple of months due to over plucking. Jess took the time to talk me through the shape of eyebrows and was very knowledgeable about different eyebrows - I have Asian eyebrows that just go straight down - and how to work with them. She then drew on the shape that she thought would fit my face, showed it to me, and made sure I was happy with the shape. I also purchased tinting services so she tinted my eyebrows before waxing and reshaping them. She left some hair outside of the shape until more hair grew out, but in the meantime I'm super happy that there's finally some shape to my eyebrows again. I followed Jess's instructions to a T. No water on my brows for 10 days, applied ointment just like she told me and 10 days later, like a caterpillar my eyebrows took on a whole new life. I've had my moments of being carried away with the tweezers back in the day, which caused some hair to not grow back in places I wish it could and would. Luckily Jessica saved my brows. I was searching for an eyebrow salon here in the Bay Area since I am from SoCal and attending Cal State East Bay where I am starring in a play. Filming starts in two days and my eyebrows needed a cleaning since I grew them from my birthday on September 1st. Jess is amazing. I just came back from my touch up and I am in love with my brows!! I've had microblading done before where the shape and color were just terrible, but her work was so much better. I love her work so much! The shape is so natural and frames my face perfectly, and the color is a perfect brown, it literally looks like I am filling in my brows everyday. She spends time mapping out your eyebrows and makes sure you're well numbed before before going to town. I also had my eyelash lift done here and again, love it! I love my new brows! I was very nervous about microblading, but her calm and happy demeanor made me calm and collected during the entire process. I didn't heal well after my initial microblading appointment but it's probably because.. 1. I waited far passed 6-8 weeks to do my followup appointment. Love my eyebrows! I got them microbladed and also got my lashes lifted (what the hell right!).I didn't have much to work with as far as my eyebrows go...I have been drawing them on for 15 years, so naturally I became very anal about them. They had to be perfect, well after time I was over do them everyday. Microblading scared me at first cuz its permanent and on my face, but from the moment I met Jess she reassured me that we could start slow. SO we did, I've just got done with my first session (you may need 1-3 sessions) and while I love my brows, I know I'm gonna need a second session to make them a little bolder.
