I was looking for yet another dentist due to my last dentist no longer accepting my insurance. I saw Dr. Stafford was close to where I lived and set up an appointment. I came in and the lobby is small but super cute. It smelt so nice inside! The ladies at the front were nice & efficient. I was brought back and the hygienist went straight to work. I got X-rays of my mouth and teeth done. She was skilled at her job because that was the fastest I had ever gotten X-rays done! With someone who has a small mouth I appreciated it. We had some small talk and she got to cleaning my teeth. My God today I needed that! Once she was done Dr. Stafford came in and checked my mouth because I needed a fill-in. She was so kind. She told me there was another area that may be a problem but would keep an eye on it. She suggested other things I may also need to look into but nothing that was pressing at the moment. I didn't realize she knew one of my old dentists and to know she was doing fine made me happy. Back to the front staff she told me about my insurance and when and what they were going to cover and it made it easy for me to budget around the expense. Please do not book appointments if you cannot accommodate them. My son and I had an appointment for a consultation for braces at 9am. I drove 20 minutes and left my job and took him out of school to be there and we were there 10 minutes early. At 9:40 I went to the desk and confirmed our appointment was at 9am. They stated we were next and I asked if so how long would it be before we would be next. The receptionist asked someone and they stated they didn't know. My time is valuable and everything did to get to this appointment was a waste. I made a decision at that time this will not be the place for us cause my time and effort wasn't appreciated. Why book appointments if everyone is waiting over an hour to be seen. I guess I got my answer to not move forward and chose a dentist that values their customers. Maybe since I wasn't a paying customer they didn't value me but now you lost a potential customer. read more

The Doctor and hygienist get all the praise. They are so energetic and friendly. They sound knowledgeable and are just helpful all around. The only reason I don't give this place a 5star it's because of the receptionists, I have been there 3 times and they just lack people skills. They are the face of the office and they have not been welcoming or warm. No smiling, no kindness, just coldness and indifference. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but it has happened every time. One would typically never imagine a therapeutic session at a dental appointment, but that's what I recieved at Wow Dental. Ive carried trauma about dental visits from my childhood into adulthood. I went in on my third visit for a root canal and broke into tears with anger from waiting too long to receive treatment. Dr. Stafford and her staff patiently waited and assisted me through my melt down with encouragement and understanding. I appreciate them all for accommodating me and making me feel okay to even have this unexpected melt down! 5 star treatment in this fine establishment! Omg yall let me tell yall!!! I literally looked this dentist office up on Thursday on google called them Friday morning to see if they took my dental insurance. And what do you know they do!! So I scheduled with for Saturday and let me tell you something!! That was the best decision I could've made that day!! They are so professional. I got checked in and wasn't sitting in the waiting area for 10 minutes and the dental assistant took me to get the X-rays done and she was nice and country just like me so making me feel just as at home!! But listen when they take you to the room and sit you down in the chair before the dentist come in omg!! Yall not only do they offer you glasses to protect eyes from the bright light they even offer you a blanket that they sanitize daily! Omg they so nice and the dentist omg let me tell yall something that lady there as professional as she was she definitely got a lifetime patient! My crown came out in less than a month. The Dentists (The lady with the Burkah) did not set my teeth right after the fillings, so I can't grind anything well enough I've come back once for that, and here I am after coming from Houston for the third time to reset my crown. I requested to see another Dentists and they assured me that I could see a different Dentist. But once I drove all the way from Houston,came to my appointment early , to be told that she is the only one there. They could've rescheduled, but noooooooo! I have never been so dismissed in my life. The dentist on duty today was very dismissive of my concerns as it pertained to my permanent retainers. I advocated for the care I wanted to receive and she became frustrated because it strayed from what she wanted to do. Ultimately, she did not finish my appointment and asked I go see another dentist because "this is not going to work". Most care providers I see work with their patients to create a care plan that makes the patient and provider comfortable. I should've know and canceled when I had the scheduling assistant tell me I was not allowed to refuse and care recommendations the doctor makes during the appointment and additional charges will be payed at the end. read more

The first appointment for a cleaning my front gums were cut up. They didn't reach out to me for my re-accurring appointment, and when I called to schedule my appointment, I received 4 calls for confirmation, and when I got there the dentist was going back x-rays from my very first (deep cleaning visit) visit suggesting I needed a deep cleaning. And now today 7/11/2019 I've waited three months to get a root canal on a tooth that is barely hanging on, (not sure why they made me suffer with this loose tooth from 3months), I got a call last week for confirmation, today I get a call saying they don't do root canals on a Saturday. Okay didn't you know that when I scheduled it, why wait until a week from my appointment to tell me this, incompetence. read more

This dental place is a rip off. They demand payment upfront even when I have full insurance coverage and they are in my network. They pretended busy by setting appointment further out and get you to wait. Their dentists were rotating in and out. You don't know their quality. None of the dentists listed in my insurance network list still working there Indicating high turn over of their dentists in n duty. read more

When it comes to professionalism and effectiveness, WOW Dental is the dentist office to visit. I must admit, I was nervous visiting the dentist because I didn't have any dental insurance. However, I decided to contact WOW Dental office anyways because it was in my neighborhood. We I tell you, the name speaks for itself, the name speaks for itself... You are going to be WOW'ed. When I called in to make an appointment, the friendly front desk staff guided me through the check in process, and didn't make me feel ashamed that I didn't have dental insurance. WOW dental advised me on what type of insurance policies I could be looking into purchasing for me and my family as well as cash payment plan options I could take advantage of. On my visit day, Dr. Stafford and her staff took x-rays of my teeth, and came up with a treatment plan that would give me my beautiful smile back, which was also economical for my budget. It is very refreshing to know that there is a dental office in a lower economical disadvantage community that is truly here to serve the community as a whole. Beware of fraud and upcoding at this practice! Dentist rendered a 10-minute regular clean (prophy) but charged me $146.20 for a full-mouth debridement. Do not be scammed and do your research on basic dental procedures before visiting! read more

I truly love this place by all means. The staff and the dentish is friendly and they actually already know me and my family. I walk in and everyone smiles and greets you which doesn't happen in a lot of places. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! I absolutely love Dr Juma. He is great with my kids. One of my kids is autistic and he generally hates dentists and doctors, but he loves Dr Juma and his dental staff. When I first started going to him with my kids I was pregnant with my daughter. When one of them had to have dental work they made very sure that I wasn't close by the anesthesia so that I didn't hurt the baby. When my daughter was born he made sure that I knew when she would be able to be seen and has only seen him and his staff. Needless to say, I am glad we found him. If it hadn't been for my best friend seeing him I never would have found him. read more
