A wonderful rescue! Although this review is a few months…read morelate, I wanted to say that because the fosters did not care about our ages, but were more concerned about the surroundings for their dogs, we became the proud "parents" of a foster named Ashton. He is a wonderful pup who attracts attention where ever we go because of his sweet demeanor and beautiful coat. Previously, we had filled out 14 applications, but no one contacted us because of our ages. SPOT believed in "never too old to love a rescue, "and here we are with a happy ending for both us and Ashton!

I submitted an application for a puppy and they didn't end up getting back to me until I called and…read moreleft a message to ask how long processing the application could take, they got back to me quickly but only to tell me that the dog had been adopted already. Shes still up on all of the websites and it's very misleading. Then the lady that called me to review my application was very condescending. I am 18 but I've been taking care of dogs my whole life from Shitzus to pitbulls to cattle dogs and i currently have a border collie. we make sure that he is very busy so he doesn't get bored and get destructive but the lady that was talking to me was treating me like I didn't know anything about my dog and his breed even though I was very thorough about how my dogs schedule is. She then told me that because my husband is in the military and that because we're still young we should be fine with the one dog. I come from a military family already, I've done moves with multiple dogs and my siblings and yes it can be hard but I've experienced it before and I tried to explain that but she kept persisting. After that she was talking about how the puppy I was inquiring about was so small and she was worried about my dog injuring it, my dog is the sweetest and he's very polite to other dogs he meets considering his energetic breed (we make sure he is not overly energetic by exercising him and keeping his brain occupied with the frozen Kong treats and deer antlers because he is a big chewer). I am not happy with the service I received and in the future I hope that the lady helped me can fix her attitude when talking to potential customers. I will be looking at other shelters and rescues that will hopefully have better representatives of the business.

I have never adopted from a foster before and I do not regret it one bit!!! Liraz is an exceptional…read moreperson and an amazing dog/foster mom. You can tell by how the puppies/dogs respond around her. She is a very honest, sweet, informative doggy foster mom. She provided information from toys, food & extensive doggy tips. She is always responsive by phone and text. Even when I text her late at night, she is always responding! Before the actual adopting day, she would send you pictures of your puppy to keep you updated. Truthfully, she and how Art and paw animal rescue is ran, should be an example of how all the animal rescues should be. I adopted my puppy from a group of 9 puppies and she knew everything about each and every single one of them. One thing I appreciate about her is, she doesn't get motivated by money but rather she truly cares for the dogs and want them to find the perfect home. She really takes the time to find the perfect home for each dog! You will not regret adopting! Also her company is ran from donations so please head onto the website and donate (: Thank you Liraz for the amazing experience.

Unless those are met, we do not take a vacation. On last Saturday, we went to Petsmart to get some dog food and cat food. My wife found this lovely dog that she would not leave without her. Art and Paws Animal Rescue went through all the questions about our living environment to make sure the dog was going to a right place, made sure that we were committed, not compulsive and showed us the papers with medical history and everything. Lulu is so happy being with other brothers and a sister and fit right in without hesitation. There are some dog rescues that only concentrate on making dogs adopted but Art and Paws Rescue really care for the dogs and we felt the right thing as dog owners. I already sent them thank you email plus lots of pictures ans will follow up with them continuously. Great job "Art & Paws Animal Rescue" and thank you for letting us having Lulu.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!…read more I have been patient in looking to add a kitten/cat to our family and stumbled across Marigold on a fosters Instagram page which prompted me to submit an application. Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

I was cut off, accused of wanting to "dump a cat," and spoken to in an unprofessional manner. The experience felt unnecessarily confrontational and upsetting. Unfortunately, I would not recommend based on this interaction.
