Very cool. I was looking for a Tshirt, but the rack of belts caught my eye. Nice think leather with some western tooling. And good prices for such stout construction. And many are made by Amish. I usually get a size up so i can wear it with my sidearm. The young lady at the counter said I should try it on as they run a little small. She was right and if she had not said anything I would have been disappointed. I went a size up and got a great belt.

Daily, year round, the jewelry and craft makers from the pueblos surrounding Santa Fe set up displays to sell their wares outside the Palace, facing the Plaza. While the local artists who have achieved some renown have their items displayed in the shops around Santa Fe, the local Native American families, often with the help of mom, dad, and kids, spread out blankets in their assigned stalls. It's really something to see! Especially as the vendors move their wares on the blankets using long sticks with hooks on the end! :-) And, there is something for everyone... jewelry, turquoise, silver, beadwork, small crafts. It's just fun to browse and talk to the vendors. They truly are wonderful people, and we enjoy supporting them! And, much of the jewelry is beautiful, some better than what you'll find in the shops. Lots of jewelry for men too, so don't be shy about shopping! LOL But beware, they are tough negotiators! Great value to be had, at a fair price! Recommend you visit with the Native American Vendors whenever you can, it's a blessing to interact with and support them!

That was very interesting to see. The market itself had a nice array of fresh produce, food, and artists' work. It was cool getting to see them roasting fresh chile and the band that played was soo much fun! The best booth for us was Dancing Turtle Studio. Absolutely stunning pieces of art and my guy bought me one of the hot air balloon pieces to commemorate our 1st anniversary. It honestly couldn't have been more perfect! The artist herself was incredibly sweet and wonderful to talk with. It was amazing getting to hear about her process as well!
