Working with Brian, communication was murky from the get-go. I sent multiple emails with detailed breakdowns for each day, but it would have been helpful to receive confirmations along with driver details and pricing in advance. Due to this, on our largest passenger count/day requiring 6 vans, Brian had to frantically find drivers at 6:20 AM, as he missed this request (Pick-up being 7:00 AM). Thankfully, the drivers pulled through, but the coordination was unnecessarily stressful. Driver wise, the drivers were all incredible, especially Alan who helped lead the other drivers. Alan had excellent communication, professionalism and kept our team feeling safe and on-time.

That's customer service. An added service is that the driver's contact information is provided the day before pick up so that both parties can give each other updates in real time. Left the cruise ship at Kona last week with open plans on what to do. Met Jelsa and discussed his…read moretour. It seemed to hit all the high marks on the Best of Kona. My wife and I joined the group. The comfortable Mercedes Transit seated up to about 13. There were 10 of us. I am tall and there was plenty of knee and head room. The tour was all we expected and more. A highlight of our trip. Inclusive was the following: A drive trough a couple unique small towns. A visit to a coffee plantation/processing plant. A store on location to taste the variations of coffee and macadamia nuts. On location, a walk through a lava tunnel. A visit to the "Painted" Church. Stopped at a macadamia nut stand, cracked open and tasted fresh macadamia nuts. Visited Pu'uhonua O Honaunau, the "City of Refuge". This is along the ocean. Visited parks and beaches along the coast to the Captain Cook monument. Stopped at the Farmers Market in downtown Kona. That was interesting in itself. Returned to the Pride Of America cruise ship. All with the interaction of Jelsa. With the right amount of knowledge, focus and humor that made the trip of 4-5 hours very pleasant.
