Since I had a weekend conference in palm springs I decided to bring my family for a little vacation time. My son went in the pool and love the lazy river. He also enjoy the play yard and had fun watching the ducks. They have a video arcade room so the older kids can play game and if your into golf they have a cool golf course. The rooms are clean we had a great view and they even a place where you get snacks. As a family we enjoyed our stay and would come back again. read more

Wonderful resort. We have been here more than 20 plus times over many years. We have been there in good weather and bad, even sand storms. Empty, half full, full and both Coachella and Stagecoach. Glad to see the remodel in full swing, updating the well used facilities. Those who complain about worn furniture will be happy, hope they aren't the same people that sell or invite the people who don't care about the property I purchased. Security was pleasant and helpful. Glad they were there, just like the weekend of Coachella when the drunks were harassing my kids. Of course, they were not owners, not even friends of owners, just drunks that wanted to use the pool. Yet, now people complain that security is too tight. Too bad, I hope it gets tighter. The resort isn't for the drunks, it's not a hotel either, it's not a party place. It makes me happy when I see a complaint that the Indio resort is to kid friendly. Lazy river is still fun, I hope that it is part of the remodel, the tile is falling off in some places. It is wonderful that they finally realized what the perfect number of intertubes are. Still gets full, but not stupid. This resort continues to get better each year, learning from what the OWNERS have spoke up about over time, including the staff. read more

What's up with the reviews here. I'd say this place rocks. It's right next to a golf course without a fence. You can literally take a walk on the golf course if you want. I don't suggest it to you. But you could. We got a suite. I wish they would let us have that suite permanently. I mean it was an apartment in itself. We had two bedrooms two bathrooms with a full kitchen. Three flat screen TV's everywhere. There was a Murphy bed tucked into the wall just in case. Our suite was at poolside. Thankfully the staff let us check in early in the morning, when we we're in town. Our beds were comfortable slept like a charm so did my baby. You can have food delivered to you. I suggest someone waiting at the front gate. Like my Hubby did instead of call it in. So the driver can deliver it to you're door. This place is pretty huge. They can get lost. So have someone at the front gate. There's 24 hour security for you're needs if you are concerned about something! We will be back. read more

Bouncing between 3 and 4 stars. The room was nicely set up with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. However, it was not cleaned well at all. We assume a bachelorette/bday party was there before us - large sequence all over the place, tape with streamers on the door frames, large wads of hair on the floor and one of the tubs. The guy that checked us in was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. He said there wouldn't be a problem getting pool time - unfortunately that wasn't the case. This is during Covid time, so I understand some changes and limitations. We could not make reservations until we arrive, and have to do it via phone from the hotel. We got in at 7pm Friday, called right when we got to the room and no one answered. We called first thing Saturday morning as the gal was incredibly rude, on top of saying there was nothing for the entire day. It was 114 out, there's nothing else to do than sit inside. One of the pools and the lazy river were closed. They could accommodate more people of course, and still distance with both open? The guy we checked in with squeezed us in for a 6pm - 8pm time slot. 6pm. (This was a girls trip to sit in the sun by the pool - so not ideal) :( Another slight drawback - The grounds are huge so the pool was a ways away from the room. We're all mobile so not that big of a deal, but if you're hauling children/belongings or limited in mobility it would be an issue. My wife, 18-month old and I stayed at this resort this past of 4th of July weekend. We're both timeshare owners and have stayed at several locations throughout the U.S. This is certainly one of their nicer resorts, you can tell that it's fairly new as well. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo which was quite spacious, It is family friendly resort with plenty of pools to choose from. Unfortunately, the heat can be unbearable, it was 110 or more everyday we were there. Also, there isn't much surrounding the resort, once you get there you're kinda stuck. You have to drive quite a ways to get to activities surrounding the resort. The rec. center does provide some activities i.e. video games, ping pong, and arts and crafts. But mostly its just swimming, which can be tough to do in over crowded pools. Nice place, real family friendly but we probably wouldn't stay here again. We stayed Thursday through Saturday and everything was fine until check out. If you're used to waking up early, the 10am check out time will work for you. But if you like to sleep in a little when on vacation, get ready to have to wake up early and get out by 10am. We had to pay a $35 late check out fee to be able to check out at a reasonable time, 11am (the industry standard check out time). It was a shame to ruin our morning by rushing out. Stayed here for Coachella this past weekend, the room and facilities are nice. The lazy river is a nice touch to lounge when you are hungover. There are also multiple pools, which are huge and well maintained. There are also shallow wade pools for kids! A big con however is that the complex does not allow uber or even their own shuttles to drop off riders straight to their apartment, or even enter the complex. All drop offs are at the front gate only. This becomes a problem with a complex this big, it's probably half a mile to 3/4 of a mile walk from the gate each time to the very back of the complex where we lived. I maybe get the rule that uber isn't allowed in the complex, but even their own shuttles aren't allowed in the gate. Oh, shuttle isn't free by the way. It's $15 per rider per ride. I guess you can make the argument that the shuttles need to get back on the road fast to pick up more guests from Coachella. Then have more shuttles or bigger shuttles! We waited close to 40 minutes for a shuttle. You have to have a wristband to get in the main gate, they're very strict about that here. read more

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Indio location during the desert trip festival October 14,15, and 16 2016. After our original reservation fell thru from a hotel in Palm Springs. Not only was it a week before the event, but absolutely nothing was available 20 miles in all directions from Indio. We booked the room thru a private party. We arrived super early for check in. The staff at the front desk put our minds at ease. They let us in the room and. The shuttle left straight from the lobby to the venue. The room was amazing. .. I am a owner and when you get there they always want to sell. Well this time I went and when I was planning to buy more because when I call they state I am limited, the seller did not tell us they were going to run our credit twice. Through the whole time I explained I did not want to run because we were planning to refinance our home and in no time did they state they were going to run the credit twice for each of us. Just beware, they want to sell and they will not care about your cost of living or what your income with bills will be or if you go homeless just because they want you to buy. Say no and RUN. If you cannot not afford it don't do it and DON'T let them run your credit, because they will do it twice. very unhappy owner and going to BBB and submit my disappointment with worldmart. read more

I'd give ZERO stars if I could...My mom has been a Worldmark owner for 10 yrs.. I have stayed at this resort many many times. Recently I stayed by myself for a little R & R before I headed back home. I fell at this resort, completely broke my knee cap and they did nothing for me. There are numerous law suits against worldmark for injuries and they don't even so much as cover medical bills. I've never broken a bone in my life but according to them it's my negligence. BEWARE of staying at ANY Worldmark Resort especially Indio. They love collecting their owners money but won't take care of them if an injury occurs. read more

It's an okay hotel/resort to stay at. However... I personally was not happy with my room. 13-404 which is a Studio suite. The room is not accommodating to watch TV in bed, and the TV is way to small. I felt the room should have been positioned in a way that if you were in bed and wanted to watch TV you could. You can, but not comfortably. The entire room should be turned around to accommodate the TV, not just the furniture. The furniture is old and out dated, and nothing matched. The room has way too many different colors and patterns going on. I believe the carpet and paint is the newest up grades to the room, oh and the little TV. The next issue that I was not happy with. During check-in the resort gave us coupons for $1.00 off Starbucks products. We went to Starbucks on the property because they are not good off the property. That was the first issue, but the clerk in Starbucks on the property said the coupon was only good for $1.00 off a drink. The coupon mentioned nothing about a particular product or a limit. I purchased a warm croissant and my sister a bagel w/cream cheese which is a standard Starbuck item. We both ordered one each of a frap. When we got ready to pay for our food I gave her two coupons which should have took $1.00 off the frap and $1.00 off the croissant. The clerk in the store said no it's only a $1.00 off the drink. I asked her where on this ticket does it say that? I also showed her the coupon said $1.00 off a Starbucks product. The lady on the property said the croissant and bagel is not a standard Starbucks product. Really! I have this once a week. So why didn't they honor the $1.00 off the croissant which is a standard Starbuck item? The same went for my sister when she went to pay for her bagel and frap. only a $1.00. So if you receive a hand full of coupons to the Starbucks on the property you can only use $1.00 off a drink. The management at the Starbucks at the Worldmark Indio Resort is full of it. My brother in law invited us as guests for the weekend. He booked two rooms for the weekend but for some reason we were assigned rooms in two separate buildings. We stayed on the second floor of building 8 and the rest of our family on the second floor of building 10. As you enter the property you can see that the resort is beautifully designed. The rooms are clean and I like that it includes a balcony, full kitchen and a separate bathroom from the master. We had a view of the pool area and playground. The temperature of our room was a little hot. The air conditioner was not working properly but the staff was very quick to get the issue fixed. Thank goodness! I noticed trash rooms on each of the floors (super convenient and clean). We visited the playground and the kids loved it. The equipment is new and there are benches around for seating. There's a nearby duck pond with a little bridge. So cute! The kids pool was nice because the water was shallow but the temperature of the water was too cold for the kids to enjoy. We ended up moving them over to the regular pool but the kids couldn't do much on their own. I like that there were other pools in the community so there was a nice count of people at the pool throughout the day, never too congested. Between each of the buildings are gas grills. It's nice to grill a steak without your room stinking! Only issue here is the distance from your room to the grill. For our family, we had one cook, grilling for two rooms. There's a nice market on the property but it was at building 16, near the main pool. It's called a market but it's more of a convenience store attached to a Starbucks and deli. We enjoyed our stay. My suggestion to future guests is to plan ahead so you can save time to enjoy the amenities. read more

This was the worst experience ever, we have traveled here many many times and always enjoyed our stay, however this time was the worst experience we had. This time we traveled with both of our kids, five months old and four years old and it took us about two hours to finally get a room that did not have ants inside and that was clean. We got there at 5pm to make sure we had our room ready as it was 116 degrees outside and we were traveling with our two little ones. In advance I had requested a high floor and a pool view, they said they would do their best to accommodate us, but didn't! They gave us a room without a pool view and on the second floor, it had ants all over the kitchen! I said ok I bigger, let me call front desk to see what else they had available for us, so I did and they said on floor above us. We went to check that room out and that one was dirty in the kitchen also had ants, I asked to get a different room as I didn't want them to spray anything in the room because we had our two children with us and we can't have them breathing those chemicals so they said they one other room in the next building which was building 7 so we went to check it out and that one was a better view, no ants which was my main concern, the stove and kitchen counter had crumbs and looked like it hadn't been wiped down and there were dirty dishes in the oven, but we took that room anyways as the kids were tierd of going room to room and wanted to settle in already keeping in mind we had a 3 hour drive from LA and had baby food and other foods in the car that we needed to unload into the fridge. We also found a water bottle on the side of the couch bed that opens in the living room and a dead bug on the floor by the dining room table. This was very disappointed as we have gone here on vacation before and never had any issues. This was my 30 th birthday celebration and first vacation with both my kids I was so bummed by this experience. Not only was the room an issue but my daughter could not even enjoy the pool with my husband because there were pool bugs allll inside the pool everyone started getting out the main pool and the kids pool. My husband took pictures and asked me to call the front desk so I did, the man said to me, "we are aware of the situation but our maintenance crew have other calls and are busy at the moment, we will solve the situation as soon as we can". But they never did! What a waist of money and a birthday vacation that we did not even get to enjoy! read more

Sadly, I have to give WorldMark one star. I wish I could give zero stars. I have never felt so unwelcomed, uncomfortable, and pissed off at a hotel or resort. I've traveled all over the world, stayed at 5-star resorts and hostels, and never, NEVER, have I been treated with such unreasonable disrespect. My friend made reservations at the WorldMark months before Coachella. There are lots of things to like about the WorldMark -- 3 bedroom condos, pools, hot tubs, a lazy river, and its proximity to the festival. It's not the most luxurious, but for a group weekend vacation, it's just fine. We were all excited about it. When my friend made the reservation, the time share owner said the condo "sleeps 8." Never were we told that meant "max 8" at any one time in the condo, and how strictly this would be enforced. Now, I understand that condos and time shares have by-laws. We totally respect that. However, to be enforced to the point of counting heads and kicking people out of a condo is just beyond ridiculous. We're not talking 50-100 people here -- we had 10-11 people staying with us. We were told this is a "fire hazard." This stipulation was not posted anywhere in the room, nor was it mentioned when booking the reservation. For paying customers (paid in full, up front, for one week) to be denied access to our room -- even when we just had people visiting for the day, not even staying overnight -- is unreasonable. If WorldMark would prefer not to have Coachella-goers at their resort, they should ask people when booking their reservation over that weekend. I felt we were treated differently than other guests (either older couples or families). We were not rowdy, loud, or disrespectful in any way to any of the employees. WorldMark will certainly not have any repeat business from myself, my group of friends, or (hopefully) anyone who is going to Coachella and reads these multiple negative reviews. read more

This place is at the end of civilization where a golf course is next to the resort. Again having friends that are members of Worldmark this is now my 4th location that I've stayed at. The room that we had was on the 3rd floor looking into the courtyard with a big pond were the duckies was very vocal and quacking like crazy in the morning. TV in the room def need to be changes as it was way to small for the room itself. Just make sure that when your on your way that you get good directions cuz trying to get a concierge to give you directions is a joke! We were transfered to 3 people before we finally got someone that was able to help us. It was a good stay in Indio comfy goodness! read more

We waited in the lobby for about two hours with 3 kids under 5!!! If you label yourself as a resort you should be more organized. We got to our room and the furniture was horrible, no taste, no style, really.....!!! Seriously spend some extra dollars and go to an actual resort!!!! Where do I begin? If I could give this resort no stars I would. I have stayed here for the past four years during coachella and never had a problem until now. This resort has the most ridiculously idiotic management and security that I have ever come across. Not only is there lack of communication between the staff, they have NO sense of customer service. This place during coachella is run like a prison. There is security check points and that you have to go though just to enter AND leave if you're a guest. And if you are being dropped off you have to walk from the outside road of the resort to your room, which isn't quite pleasant if you're in the very last building in the back of the resort. The security and management take no responsibility for any mistakes on their part and will patronize and insult you when you try to talk to them and resolve and issue. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 1) screaming at you on the phone and hanging up 2) accuse you of keeping more than the allowed guests in your room when that's not the case 3) accuse you of smoking weed in your room when you're innocent 4) threaten you. This is the only year that this has happened. I never had an issue until this year and would always look forward to staying here. However, I have never come across such appalling behavior from any sort of establishment, especially from their management (Dwight). I recommend this resort reevaluates their work ethic and their standards as a business because my recent experience has made me completely disgusted with this place. read more

If you're gonna stay here for Coachella make sure to book it early and have the right number of guest! If your reservation has 4 then make sure there's only 4 in your room. I like this place better than my hotel the night before we got everything from kitchen to an outdoor grill!!! Great amenities! What to say? Had a great time and will definitely be going back. Great friends, great food, lots of sun and good times around the pools. I have been an owner for years but just hadn't managed to make it out to Indio and I didn't know what I was missing! Side note, make sure if your guests are driving separate cars that they know who the reservation is under, it is checked at the gate since the resort access is controlled. Positives: Great pools - the lazy river while small is so much fun. Every unit has a grill. While the bedrooms are a little on the small size we had 5 people in a 2 bedroom unit (max 6 people) and we fit just fine. In case you forget something there is a mini-mart which while a little bit more expensive than out in town isn't a huge ripoff. Domino's pizza has a little pizza place on site. Great service from the resort. While we didn't utilize it, the resort offers lots of activities for kids and adults (family movie night for example). Spa on site but you have to make reservations - they book up fast! If your unit allows six people you can have six cars, the limit on bodies in the unit is the limit in vehicles you can have. Free parking. If you like to golf Terra Logo wraps around the facility and they offer reduced green fees to Worldmark guests. Negatives: Its a family resort I know but I do wish there had been a couple less kids and old people :) We still managed to get hammered and enjoy the hot tub LOL For those of you feeling the need to put 1 star because Worldmarks rules don't allow you to use the facility as a flop house while you are at Coachella need to stick it. The rules are very clear and noted repeatedly that there are restrictions on the number of people allowed in each unit (in red no less). Oh yeah and Ive been to Coachella so I am well aware of the whole deal. If your friends don't bother to read the rules when they make the reservations that isn't Worldmarks problem. read more

Worldmark Indio is the worst resort ever!!!!! My family checked in to a room with baby roaches. What does that tell you?? It means that roaches have been in that room for awhile. Maintenance was kind enough to spray the room but what does that do?? It brings more out. Management never offered to change our rooms, they wanted us out of the room so they can use a stronger chemical to rectify the problem. So of course I tell them go right ahead but we will be waiting for another room. The second room we had booked had a broken tv remote and the blinds fell down by trying to close them. This place needs to be renovated and fumigated. I will never ever return to this resort again. Front desk and the sales people need to be empathetic and professional at all times. Roaches!!!! Stayed here for Coachella thinking it would be cool to have a full kitchen and be roughly 6 miles from the event. This was probably the worst idea EVER. First of all, don't think you and all your friends are going to come and celebrate over the Coachella weekend or any weekend for that matter. This is a FAMILY resort and they are very strict. The resort issues wristbands and all guests must be wearing wristbands at all times. You can only have wristbands for the alloted amount of people that can be in the room. For example, Studio (Two wristbands), 1 Bedroom (4 Wristbands), 2 Bedroom (6 Wristbands), etc. Forget about inviting any friends over to your room. They will be stopped by the RUDE, Unhelpful guards that treat their paying guests like prisoners. We checked into our room and realized they had given us a Handicap Accessible room, which we did not request. Since it was Coachella weekend, all rooms were BOOKED so we were stuck with lower counter tops and wheelchair shower that makes the water go all over the bathroom floor. Since they don't give you any extra towels, good luck cleaning up the water mess. The room had a horrible smell. It smelled like the room had lacked any cleaning products. The kitchen wall and drawer handles had grease buildup and the dishwasher was dirty. We had to purchase candles and room spray and did what we could to get the place aired out. We were in the room right off the lagoon. There were lots of flies coming into the room. They even had a fly swatter in the room as they are well aware of the fly problem. The resport mentions free wifi which i believe only works in the lobby area. Once you get into your room, BEWARE, you will no longer have wifi, and your normal data service will be limited to none. If you want to use your smart phone, be ready to pay the $5 per day wifi (for two devices). I've stayed at other Worldmark and Wyndham properties and this is by far my least favorite. Plus side to this resort: There is a $15 shuttle one-way for Coachella which is very helpful. There is a cafe selling starbucks coffee and breakfast/lunch. This resort has a lazy river which is great. Great for family sleeping arrangments. read more

Just got back from staying here for a week with 2 teenagers, a 10 year old and the hubby. They are renovating one building at a time and hope to be done by 2012. Our room was clean and well furnished but the furniture was pretty old and yucky. The room is pretty darn small with a master (king bed, small closet, tv/dvd and nice size bathroom), 2nd bedroom has 2 small twins and small closet, large main bathroom (bad use of space if you ask me!), small dining area, kitchen and small living room. Liked the queen size Murphy bed! Within 45 seconds of walking into the room, we decided to move to the top floor as another reviewer suggested. We could hear all kinds of noise coming from the room above us. Some buildings are 3 floors while others are 4 floors. Once moved, noise was not an issue for us! There are two pools - one with a lazy river next to it. Great idea but so damn crowded and I didn't like it. They provide tubes or you can bring your own noodles to use. Beware if you are using a noodle - you will have kids ram into your head with their tube like you aren't there! For some people, it wasn't a 'lazy river' it was treated like the pool with rough housing and kids splashing like crazy, There is no food or alcohol allowed by the river. However, you can bring food and alcohol to the pools. Lots of people had coolers with them. Not supposed to have bottles so we used our Starbucks plastic cups with lids and straws for our cocktails - nice!! No restaurant on site but there is a store that charges a million dollars for whatever you might need. BUT only 5 minutes away is a Winco, Super Target and fast food also. We went to Target to get $1.50 noodles for the pool instead of paying $5 at the resort store! Nice game room with ping pong, air hockey, pool, arcade. Nice, clean and big. Never used the weight room (like to gain weight on vaca) but it was pretty decent. It was about 112 each day we were there and liked the covered parking. It didn't keep the car super cool but my skin didn't come off when I sat down on the leather compared to if we had parked out in the open. BEST THING - they provide starter packs such as laundry soap, dish washing soap, etc but if you go to building 18 you can pick up whatever supplies you ran out of and don't want to have to bring or buy more of. We were able to grab more laundry soap, dishwashing soap, toilet paper and paper towels. They also will switch out your dirty towels there for fresh ones if you don't want to wash them yourself. Job security! Ha. Also, each room comes with nice big pool towels so leave yours as home!! read more

If you are using your GPS to get here, just be aware that for some reason the resort is located in the GPS Twilight Zone. Ours was going haywire and guided us to a trailer park. Apparently this must happen enough that the gate guard for the trailer park knew where to guide us. As far as Worldmark resorts go, this is one of the better, cleaner ones that I have been to. It was clearly designed with the family in mind as they have a game room and lazy pool. Rooms were decent and it looked like there was a BBQ grill on every unit's balcony. The kitchen is very nice and spacious with a bar type counter. Washer and dryer in the units are always a great convenience on trips since it means less packing. The most standout feature is that the sundries store is much more fully stocked, almost like a mini-mart than any other property I have been to which is a nice thing. Palm springs is nearby about 20 min and about an hour away from Morongo. Parking is highly secure in that you have to go through a guard kiosk to get into the compound. As with any Worldmark resorts, anticipate the upsell and they will try and get you and anyone in your party to one of their owner training / sales seminar. Of course, you do get compensated for your time, I think it is somewhere in the area of a $100 AMEX gift card now. Not bad for a couple of hours, but you can always politely decline if you choose not too. But you have to deny them three times before they'll let up, like Peter with Jesus. read more

Worst resort I've ever stayed in. Terrible customer service! Awful! I checked into a room along with 5 other couples at this resort on April 18th 2016. Check in time 4:00 P.M. We get here and were told our room "was not ready" they had a large group check out and not enough staff to clean rooms so they would not be ready till about 8:00 P.M. We all have young toddlers so waiting an extra 4 hours before settling into our rooms was as you can imagine not only tiring but very inconvenient. When the reservation was made the request was made to be in the same building. When we checked in we were told at 4 that if we waiting till 8 we will be able to be put in the same building. They did offer building 13 but we decided to go ahead and wait. At 7:30 P.M. We got into our room 14206 we found a horrendous looking room. * 4 empty pill capsules * Huge amounts of hair, lint all over the floors * Cough drops in the queen bedroom * Finger prints all over the kitchen counters * Contact lenses * Sticky floors and cabinets and handles * Stains of the floor next to the dining table that looked like blood * A hot pink empty small package that appeared to be a packet of some sort of drug Addy front desk supervisor did a walk through with me and said "I hope this is not drugs" she took a picture on her personal cell phone Addy the front desk supervisor came into our room and I shared with her all the findings along with her doing a walk through with me, She told me that since we said we needed to be in the same building they did not clean the rooms properly. Hearing this is completely unexpetaple. She also told me " I can take you in other units to show you that they are a lot worse looking than this room" she admitted to me that yes, this is unexepable. At 9:53P.M. Two hotel staff members asked if I'd like to have our room vacuumed, I said yes, showed them the large amounts of debri on the floors, I was told its from the carpet, but they vacuumed anyway. I understand that Coachella was here this past weekend and you guys were overwhelmed by the capacity of guests and you are understaffed according to Addy. However, our reservation was made and paid for in Janurary. Regardless of your amount of staff on board your hotel guests do not deserve to be put into a room that was this filthy and incredibly disgusting. On top of all this, at 9:40 P.M. A gal from guest services came to our room with "goodie bags" a rotten grapefruit and a bag of chips and asked if we are still going to attend the time share presentation?! This was laughable, the nerve. This place new management ASAP. Awful and I will tell everyone about our 2 days there. read more

This is the absolute worst place to go if what you're looking for is a relaxing getaway. If I had not gone with a fun group, I would have been miserable! Where do I start? The construction: HORRIBLE. The walls were so thin. We hardly slept because the family of 6 above us was running around back and forth and yelling and screaming both nights (and all day, so naps were unsuccessful as well) ... Due to the chaos from above, we experienced a lot of time on the phone with security and management. They were kind at first, but grew extremely rude and unprofessional. They dismissed our complaints after only the second call, even though the noise was unbearable even after midnight. They were unprofessional in the way they relayed information to each other. I'm not sure what was worse, the noise or the phone experience. Not to mention when the noise did die down a bit, we could hear a mild-noise-level conversation two guys were having on their third floor balcony (we were on the first floor). I mean REALLY thin walls. You can hear everyone's toilet flush, every drawer open and close, even their COUGHS and SNEEZES! Apart from the rude management, the pool staff was inappropriate and creepy. They made me and a couple of my friends very uncomfortable. We could hardly even enjoy the pool on our 113 degree weekend because children had pooped and peed in it every hour on the hour. Yeah the lazy river was cool, but it's very small, and due to the pool issues, it was packed at all hours. Fine place to go if you're with family, but don't expect to get any relaxation time. Very noisy, full of families. Not a good place to go with a young group of friends for a "fun" and "chill" weekend! Oh well.. read more

Great place to relax near Palm Springs and Coachella. Close to casinos and entertainment. Two nice pools. Only downside is they close all pools and spas early at 10pm read more

This review is for the lost and found department and honest staff. The front desk is another story, but I won't get into that. I stayed here for Coachella a few weeks ago. After the 7 hour drive home to San Francisco, I realized I'd forgotten my favorite jacket that had my house keys and headphones in the pocket. Like a christmas miracle, lost and found had my jacket and fedexed everything to me. Just opened up the fedex box today and saw they also included cash that I'd forgotten about. My friends and I stayed here during Coachella weekend, which was a pretty good experience. Just a warning, if you plan on inviting friends over, they probably can't come in. They have a very strict staff... so the condo is very safe. They check wristbands, so you can't invite friends over unless they are staying at the condo. They wouldn't even let taxi/shuttle drivers pass through the entrance! FYI, it's about a 20-25 min drive from here to the music festival. There are tons of stop lights on the way. The pool here is like paradise... It had a fun lazy river and after 30 min going in circles, I turned a shade darker! Sure beats camping on the festival grounds and dying from the heat! The pool area was pretty festive with a bunch of Coachella-goers! Glenn, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Before arrival, he emailed us and warned us about the windy weather. He also ran his own private shuttle service which was a bit chaotic, but worked out in the end. It was a bit frustrating and nerve wrecking planning the times to leave for the Coachella music festival and leaving. Not sure if I'd take a private shuttle next year. Overall, okay experience... a bit on the pricier side, but I'm just thankful for the AC, the commodities (kitchen with cooking supplies), a bed, and a pool for Coachella weekend! Update: went back to Coachella the following year and camped. Best experience of my life and way more fun!not to mention, convenient. My advice is to camp!! read more

This place is fantastic! If you are considering Worldmark, the Indio location is fantastic. Beautiful property with great pools. This place is a great getaway. They have activities planned out for kids. I was there easter weekend and they had an easter egg hunt, the easter bunny for photo opportunities. For the sporty type: You are right on a golf course. Haven't played it yet, but it is a beautiful looking course wrapped around the resort property. Parking is plentiful and has shade spots for cars, especially when it gets hot. The Spa for the person who needs to get away and decompress. My massage was pretty good the last time I recall. There is a recreation room, tennis courts and basketball courts along with a gym. Inside the recreation room, they have films to check out, popcorn for sale, ping pong tables and a video game arcade room. BBQ's are on every porch in the resort and there is a well stocked kitchen. We stayed in a room that had a murphy bed and two bedrooms. There were two tv's, a kitchen table, lounge spots, a nice patio etc. My favorite, the main pool. Great lazy river with intertubes, two jacuzzis, a 1 ft shallow pool for kids and a grown up adult pool. Lifeguards are on duty. My friend's baby got stung by a bee and the lifeguard had a bee sting kit. Stock up your stuff, sip your wine, chill and relax. A wonderful place! I absolutely love the beautiful desert. read more
