We started with them a couple years ago, the quality the first service was good. They did both stories of our home. It wasn't done again until our last service. Their communication to the customer is terrible. It seems after you sign a contract, they make it difficult to cancel and want you to pay for two more services. If you want to talk to the owner. good luck. With so many great customer service companies out there, why go with this one that seems to be an adversary and not a contract provider. I used Worldwide Windows for four years, twice per year. Of those 8 cleanings, only three resulted in no complaints. The first tech refused to climb a ladder even though the company had visited my home to give an estimate and it was clear that a ladder would need to be used; another cleaner was very angry and complained about the company the entire time he was at my house, and the rest of the complaints concerned missed windows or streaky windows. I documented complaints each time with the company and they worked hard to resolve them. The last cleaning, I got tired of always having to complain and so I cleaned the missed windows myself, all of which were at ground level, and I recleaned myself multiple windows that they left streaky. I finally decided enough was enough and told the company I no longer needed their services. Next thing I know, I received a nasty letter and a copy of the contract I signed, which showed in extremely small print that they charged a $500 cancellation fee or two more visits, which would've meant I would've had to deal with them for another year. The owner, Robert, then proceeded to make fun of the fact that I liked the one technician who cleaned three times, whom he said was the worst he had had in 38 years. He also questioned my latest complaint, noting that I signed the letter that they had resolved everything after the last cleaning. As mentioned, I got tired of complaining and just did it myself. Robert then proceeded to offer that I could buy out the contract for a mere $389, or I could pay a $608 cancellation fee. At no time did anyone who worked for the company ever mention the contract cancellation fee or point that out before I signed. I also never received any explanation as to how they calculated any of these cancellation fees, since the contract stated the cancellation fee was $500 or two additional visits, which never added up to $608. I'm sure Robert will claim that they had an increase in prices, but yet again, none of that was ever offered or advised in advance. I was given one business day to have a check in their hands, impossible to accomplish since they only have a PO Box. I asked Robert to please reconsider since I have no idea when or if I'll ever be able to go back to work (overseas) because of COVID. Robert responded with a notice of breach of contract and threatened to take me to court. I failed to read the small print when I originally hired the company, but I have had many maintenance contracts in other states I've lived in, and never have any of those companies charged any cancellation fee, ever. I finally paid the amount the company offered to buy out the contract, hoping that I will never have to deal with this unpleasant, aggressive, bullying individual ever again. Other people in the company are very nice, but the owner ruins it for everyone. In addition, I've hired a different company to clean my windows and they've never looked so good. Beware of signing a contract with World Wide Windows, you will never be able to cancel the contract without paying an exorbitant amount. They also do not allow you to cancel the contract even if you move residences. read more

There is only one way to describe this company and the individual that runs it. Robert Wells. That would be crooked. I unfortunately also signed a contract knowing that I would not break it and expecting this company to perform quality service and uphold its end of the deal. That didn't happen. The first service they called ahead and we met them so they could clean the inside of the windows. When they were done on the inside we left and actually expected we would receive an invoice in the mail. That didn't happen but about a month later we found pieces of the invoice in two different places in the bushes when doing yard work. I called to complain but couldn't get anywhere with Robert. Their next cleaning had no call in advance so when we realized they had cleaned they obviously couldn't do the inside but charged for the entire cleaning anyway. Amazing service!! Our last cleaning was 11/2/18 and a new service person actually called ahead. My wife met him and he did a mediocre job and because the wind was blowing very hard he couldn't do the deck glass. He did the right thing and didn't charge for the deck and told my wife someone would come back a some time and do the deck glass. That was the last we heard from or saw any signs of that glass being cleaned until in December we received a Past Due notice for $35 and an invoice that showed that someone had come and done the deck glass on 11/5/18. We saw no signs of anyone cleaning that glass nor was there any signs of an invoice. I had enough of this so sent them a check for $35 and explained that since they had broken the contract we were done with them. Robert replied that we had signed a contract and it was unfortunate that we kept losing the invoices but if we wanted out completely it would be $500 plus $25 for what he was now calling a late fee. Again Crooked. I finally decided I didn't want them any where near my home again so paid the $525 and mailed it to them certified. At that time I got my mail and there was a threat from Robert to take me to small claims court. Again Crooked and setup to be Crooked. We run a successful business and have for 25 years. Never have we treated customers like this trash treats customers. I don't know how they stay in business and they certainly shouldn't. No one in no way should ever attempt to do business with this very poorly run business. If you do please understand you have been warned. read more

I am a caretaker for a 91 year old woman who is on a semiannual schedule to have her windows cleaned. A representative from worldwide windows arrived last week to do her windows. I was outside working I saw him washing the outside windows. When I went in the house he was in the house doing her Windows he had no mask on. I asked him if he was vaccinated he said no. I asked him to put a mask on and he did. I called the owner this morning and told him I was upset that this guy was in her house for 20 minutes to a half hour before I discovered that he was not vaccinated and had no mask. The owner said they only put masks on when they're asked. I said this woman is 91 has cognitive impairment and is not aware enough to ask you to put a mask on. She's vulnerable and because of her age is a real risk of covid. He never apologized and he said that he would cancel her account they will no longer serve her. No apologies. So if you have someone that you really care about that's compromised I wouldn't recommend this company read more

I have been with the company for about 18 years, and they always have done good work, but this is the first time I have wrote a review on them. My windows are sparkling clean today, for the workman just left after 2 hours or so of work. I find their workmen at World Wide Windows of Spokane to be polite and willing to please. These people talk you into signing a very complicated contract that CANNOT be Canceled without a substantial cancellation fee. ($902 for me ) They won't get on a ladder to reach high windows. Never the same person twice. It's either the day they choose or you are charged. DO NOT HIRE read more

Worst Company ever. My parents have had them since like 2010 or 2011. They had one technician that was amazing that was the one who did the windows at my parents. One visit we were told he was out for surgery and so a replacement was sent. They didn't clean the windows well or the tracks. So my mother called. They told her that wasn't in her contract(even though they had been doing it for years) and that for $125 they would send a technician out to clean the tracks. They are clearly only about money and not customer satisfaction. If you want to waste your money on bad window cleanings this business is for you or my kid can come wash your windows which would probably be a better job!! read more

I've used this service off and on for several years and the cleaning is always good. My issues in the past and most recently are the legalese that are used to defend poor service. Yes, there is a contract. Yes, there should be a contract. That said...Calling the evening before and being told the technician will arrive midday the next day doesn't work for me. I work full time. I will use a local small business willing to work with my schedule rather than this business. I find them inflexible. When I emailed my concerns I received a condescending email back from the owner. I've no doubt this review will be met with another scathing response. My advice? Go elsewhere and be treated with more respect. read more

My Aunt had this service, was ok happy with the first visit. She had medical issues and wanted to cancel her "contract". She didn't even know she had a contract until she was told she would have to pay a $500 cancellation fee. This is outrageous! Here is an 89 year old woman using a walker, fresh out of the hospital being told she would have a small claims court claim filed against her. The "honorable" owner finally let her off easy, he told her he would cancel her contract with a $160 cancellation fee. How low can you go!!! My aunt paid as she is alone and didn't know what to do. This happened at this time last year. I hope he calls back as now there is someone here to make things right. Some people are shameful. read more

I've adjusted my review downward from the initial three stars (A-OK), to one star (Eek, Methinks not), because of the owner's comments about the initial review. Notwithstanding the "email cancellation is okay" language by the owner in his comment to the initial review, the actual contract the owner has every commercial business sign requires written notice of cancellation. Here are some examples from the service agreement: "Customer can only cancel or change this contract with a written notice." "Customer must have proof of mailing (certified mail return receipt) or written confirmation on World Wide Window letterhead." As I noted in the initial review, nowhere on the service agreement does the corporation's address appear (which makes it hard to cancel, unless you're planning on relying on the owner of the business to send "written confirmation on World Wide Window letterhead.") The family member who terminated their arrangement with World Wide Window Corporation did so because the service provider did not show up, as agreed, for a scheduled early morning window cleaning appointment before patients were scheduled to arrive. I'm sure that we can all agree there's nothing worse than heading into work early (very early) for a service provider and not only they are a no-show, they don't even call to let you know they're not going to show up on time. And then the service provider is argumentative when you're expressing your displeasure with the no-show. My family member was unhappy with the no-show. Yes, that's true. However, the owner of this company appears to have customer relationship management issues. Best advice? Pick another service provider to clean your windows in the Greater Spokane area. read more

wow just opened a letter from robert a wells jr presume he is the head jerk in charge. have been using thier services for appx 3 years, and it has been ok, they were very pushy with regards to your scheduleing you appt. however we were forced to put our home on the market due to my wifes health which precluded our living in our current 3 story home and finding another house with main floor living. we were scheduled to have the service in july, however it did not seem that it did not make sense to have the windows cleaned until the house was ready to list which happened on the 21st of august. we purchased another house nearby, and have been very involved in remodeling the house for my wife as it will be our final hurrah. i called world wide and spoke with tom, explaining what was going on in our lives and said to hold up on the cleaning i stated that i would try and book for the week of the 21st or the 28th.. as stated in his letter (when tom tried to book you a week ago you did not want him to book). at the time i explained to him that we were still in the process, of getting the house ready and listed plus we were closing on the other house, and windows were not a priority in the large picture. evidently this upset poor tom who went sniveling to mama aka robert and as a result the letter recieved today, was the result. it reads : dear rick you called tom on 7-25-2017 and said you would be ready to book your home on the 15th of aug and said to try and book for the week of the 21st or the 28th. when tom tried to book you a week agoi you did not want him to book. please call or e mail me if you want to book your home. if i do not hear from you by that bate i will assume you want to cancel the account and not have your 07-2017 service. sincerely robt a wells jr i am 73 years old, with a health emergency happening to my wife, and dip sh-t wants to force me to get the fuc-in windows cleaned??? robert, you are a flaming uncaring jerk, and i dont know how you stay in business. i will go out of my way to bad mouth your company, and your humanity towards your customers. as for tom ghe needs to grow up, get a set of balls and not run to daddy when it doesnt go his way. for your information, that you would have learned with a phone call from whiuny tom, that i was going to call you and schedule,not only this house but the new house. as far as i am concerned your attitude sucks to say the least, and i hope that people who read this ,understand up front what they are dealing with. if you worked for me your ass would be headed for the unemployment line. have a good life loser, and my regards to sniveling tom. r leavell read more
