Came here for putt-putt with a friend after driving past it on the interstate 1,000 times and finally realizing there was mini golf here. This was a great way to kill almost an hour, for about $9. Fun little course, all par 2 or 3. It's "Kentucky themed" but not overly so, informational plaques and decorations (horseshoes, bats, bourbon barrels, etc) at some holes, but not all. It was busier than expected on a very hot July Tuesday evening, and the driving range next door had a lot of action too. Because CVG is so close, lots of planes fly overhead which added to the atmosphere. They have food/drinks but we didn't try those. Maybe next time! read more

Went to the driving range on an evening for a little date night. The place was really modern and offered every kind of golf. You can imagine. The driving range itself was lovely, there were screens, and there was ball, tracking technology, which a lot of driving ranges don't offer. You can play games on it and see stats on your golfing. I also enjoyed the indoor bar and had food there. I had a burger, as did my partner, and they were both delicious and clearly scratch made. Also, the pretzel sticks were worth it! I was a little unsure of myself, having never been there before, after checking in, on where to get a club or my golf balls. Figured it out somewhat quickly though after walking around looking for where to go! read more

Didn't come for the golf, just the food at Tin Cup but it's worth checking out!! A good variety of burgers, pizza, chicken, salads and apps. The adults and kids in our group all liked their food. Definitely try the pretzel sticks with their special cheese sauce, I loved the cheese!! They have crinkle cut fries which are always my fave. I don't golf but I feel like it would be a good place to go before or after playing. Or just when you are there for a night of putt putt! I need to go back for a burger. read more

I have not had much experience with World of Golf. My eldest was invited to play some mini golf here. Mini golf course was in good working order, especially for an outdoor course. Some well know NKY landmarks show up in miniature. Boone County Distillery, and the Florence water tower are part of what is represented. Scoops are available if your ball finds it's way into one of the water features. Along with mini golf, there is also a golf course, driving range, pro shop and snack bar. Driving range had some obstacles, targets set out. Snack bar offers various snacks, drinks and pizza. A youth golf team was sharing a selection of whole pizzas. The snack bar provided paper baskets for the kids to eat out of. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available. Plenty of parking. Parking is both infront of World of Golf, and along the sides. read more

Don't get me wrong, it's a fun place for putt putt or hitting the driving range. But that's about it. The course is in ok shape, fairways and greens aren't too bad but the tee boxes are terrible. $30 for 9 holes with a cart is typically a good deal, but the local high school teams apparently practice there and they don't tell you when you check in; so you feel rushed with kids behind you, and also have to wait for the kids in front of you. The grounds crew is the worst part of the course. I have worked as grounds crew before so I know it's impossible not to get in the way sometimes. However, it's common courtesy to try your hardest to stay out of the way, stay quiet when people are putting or teeing off, etc. I was enjoying a round of 9 by myself, I pulled up to the tee box on hole three and these two grounds crew members pulled up behind me, got out of the cart and started shoveling in sand while I was standing on the tee box ready to tee off. I didn't think much of it, but throughout the course almost every grounds crew members drove their cart right in front of my shot. This whole place is cool, but $30 for 9 holes is not worth it. read more

My kids absolutely love the driving range here. We had no idea what we were doing our first time and the workers were very helpful. The bar has $2 soft drinks with free refills and the food is REALLY good! Just bought my kids and their friends 3 different appetizers and it was more than enough and was very tasty! Right now it's customer appreciation time and Tuesday is buy one large bucket get one free! So we went and bought 2 buckets and got 2 free, so that was 600 balls! Was there for about 3 hours and they had a blast! Will absolutely recommend this place going forward! read more

WOG has an amazing set of practice options from outdoor covered/uncovered TopTracer practice range positions to an indoor facility for simply practicing swing fundamentals with no distractions. Add to that an 18 hole exec course playing through hill and dale. The most significant plus is the golf school. Ralph Landrum, an honest to goodness PGA Pro, not simply a PGA member, leads a great instructional team. His team provides excellent instruction to golfers (duffers) of all ages. Prices are right on, and the new 19th Hole bistro, The Tin Cup, cooks up really good food! read more

Came today they try to charge me $50.00 for the same clubs and $10.00 for a set that look like they was used in a murder. This is a great course for beginners -- I went here for my first ever round of golf yesterday and got a par! Everyone is very friendly and the course seems well managed. It was still in winter shape so the greens were rough, but I'm sure they'll get those back in shape in no time. This place offers a great driving range as well -- it's very modernized and suited for golfers of all stages. We had to wait 2 hours for a tee time, but sat down at the restaurant for lunch in the meantime and the food was surprisingly really good. From what I've heard, they've really turned this place around! Highly recommend! read more

I went to World of Golf for putt-putt with a group of four college friends. It was in the afternoon on a weekday so it was pretty crowded with kids. The putt-putt was $7.95 for 18 holes, which I thought was a little pricey for putt-putt but not terrible. The holes are pretty entertaining and incorporate a lot of Kentucky culture (horse racing, Florence water tower, etc.), which I thought was a nice touch. I liked how the holes were pretty realistic as well. There were fake sand traps and rough green, and a couple of the holes even put you at risk of going into the water. My reason for four stars is that it took forever to go through the course because of the big groups ahead of us. The sidewalks are small and crowded easily, so it is hard to pass up another group. read more

Came here for the driving range with my family, they had no lefthand clubs for rental, all righthanded. Only one person working the "grill area", including register and kitchen. Needless to say I haven't been able to be with my family as they hit golf balls because 20 minutes in and still no fries or draft beer that I ordered for us... Not planning to order anything ever again, unless it's in a can. I probably won't be back here to hit golf balls of my own. read more

! Minigolf. round (18 holes) for myself and child was $12. The minigolf course was in good repair and we had the place to ourselves. A nice variety of obstacles, curves and water hazards. One HUGE advantage this has over other local outdoor courses I've played, this minigolf course is east of a large open area. Even in late October there were NO leaves on the course. However, there were a couple litter cups. An additional trashcan or two would be nice. Hit a bucket of balls. 50 balls was $6.50. Tee-boxes appeared in mostly good order. Tees themselves varied greatly in height. One tee, of three we tried, could not hold a ball up. Pleasant staff. Older Man and young lady were helpful. I think there was a young man too, but ti was unclear if he was working, or just a skater who hangs out there and lends a helping hand occasionally. If he DOES work there, I recommend putting him to picking up litter on the mini-golf course that he skates near. We will be back. read more

This review is only based off miniature golf. It's pretty and the course is fine. We didn't need it to be handicap accessible, but it's cool that it is. My main complaint is it smells SO BAD. Like dead fish. It was nauseating. Which kind of ruins the whole experience. read more

Why does the website say they close at 10 but they start closing crap down and telling you "not to rush" at 850? Hey Chachi if you sell a bogo bucket of large balls to one very non athletic looking dude at 830 do you think you might consider giving him a heads up that you will be closing in 30 minutes? it's a fantastic setup, and they have done great changes especially to the driving range area and have made it a good experience however DO NOT go when they have a DJ because it was the worst experience in our lives. two gentleman screamed in the microphone the entire two hours we were there as if they were drunken sailors. we took our daughter and the verbiage was not appropriate, and they just wouldn't stop. would not recommend and our family has been going to world of golf since we took junior golf lessons 30 years ago. again, great concept just utilized completely wrong. read more

This review is only regarding the miniature golf course. The course would have received more stars if the ponds and streams on the course had been in better repair. It looked like sludge and when my wife hit a ball in there it just stuck to the sludge. Other than that the prices were great and each course had its own strategy. read more

He treated me like a second-class citizen because I didn't already know how the process worked for the driving range where I am a new customer. Someone must have pissed in his Cheerios that morning. I would love a rational explanation as to why this place turns away people wanting to get a bucket of range balls because you are "closed" yet just seconds before sold a round of mini-golf to a couple? My girlfriend and I drive 20 minutes and arrived at 9:10pm on a Saturday night and would not be sold a bucket of balls. And as we leave we count 12 people still on the mini-golf course. 12...people. World of Golf lost around $30 from us as a result. I have been coming there for 20 years and even as a kid when I would sometimes get there close to 10 they would always, without fail, sell me a bucket. The only reason this doesn't get 1 star is because of how they ran their business in the past. Sorry to know that putt putt has become the top priority of a place with "golf" in the title. I guess it costs just too much money to run the lights for the range until people are finished with putt putt. read more
