It was difficult to get in and out of the facility due to them relocating because they lost the lease on the old location (not due to the shop, just a bad landlord) but the service of World Mufflers was awesome. They were recommended buy the insurance guy who looked at my car, and I had previous experience with replacing the catalytic converter on my MR2, which also went well. read more

Patrick is absolutely fantastic. I went to get my exhaust adjusted and he was very knowledgeable and helpful giving me tips and his honest opinion on what should be done. He is very precise and thorough, double and triple making sure everything line up equally both sides. He also does alignment at his shop too, but I didn't get that done. I appreciate that he takes the time to make sure everything line up correctly and that it is positioned to my liking. I would 100% return for alignment or any exhaust needs. read more

I have a 2015 Prius and (now) live in a highish theft area for...catalytic converters. I personally know 2 people who've had their catalytic converters removed for them (unwillingly). I researched 'catalytic converter shields' on Amazon and came upon some options. That said, I decided to find a shop to install it, as I did not think having thousands of lbs of metal above me made a lot of practical sense. I received a couple quotes and decided to call shops directly. Pat, the owner of World Mufflers, gave me a detailed explanation and ordered the part directly for me from Amazon (I have a C, which seems to be rare? and did not find the matching item on Amazon). We scheduled an appointment, Pat took me in early and got done faster than expected. Definitely going back if I need a new cat (crossing fingers never), muffler, or another shield. Thanks Pat! read more

Pat is awesome, honest and to the point. The welds look amazing and the price he gave me was fair. I came in midweek in person to get a quote because he needed to see the bottom of my car first. He then gave me a price and wedge me in his schedule, on a saturday too when he was already booked which i really appreciate. After a few hours he called me to tell me to come see it. He left it on the lift to show me and explained a few things. But great work i highly reccomend him for any exhaust work. He even gave me reccomendations on what to do if i wanted it louder. Thank you Pat :) Customer service 5/5 Work 5/5 read more

Great customer service and excellent results. While working on my car a very unruly person whom the business was unable to help made a huge scene without cause. The business rep Patrick exhibited extreme professionalism and customer care. Patrick finished the work on my vehicle with great care and detail even after being treated rudley by the hot headed person in the beat up corvette. Hats off to this business for showing so much composure. I was really impressed. The bottom line is this business is definitely a 5 star establishment. read more

Very pour attitude and unhelpful guys. I ask if they can weld new mufflers on my car. He Didn't want even to take a look on my car, it was 12 o clock, he said he close at 2pm, he was rude, he kicked me out at 12 and closed the parking read more

Great service from Pat. Was looking for Millercat Shield for our Gen2 Prius. When we called in the morning, he said that his appointments for the day were booked but he could try and work us in by the end of the day if we could drop the car off before 10am. Dropped the car off before 9am and got a call from Pat at 11:30am - that the car was ready to be picked. He even gave us pictures of his work and took sometime to explained about the extra security measure he did to deter a theft. We know that the shield is a deterrent but since our other Gen2 Prius just had it's CAT stolen we want to get some protection. We will have Pat install a new CAT on our Prius that was a victim of a theft and also install another Millercat Shield. read more

Honest, no nonsense and to the point. I thought I needed new catalytic converters for my 300ZX Twin-Turbo, and called Pat to replace them. Pat said why do you think you need them? I didn't need them. He could have easily just sold me what I asked for. That was 2 years ago. Now I might need catalytic converters and will consult Pat. Recently I had the after market exhaust replaced with stock exhaust for a very fair price on my Z. I highly recommend this shop for muffler/exhaust related work. read more

Pat has been one of my go to shops for over 12 years now. He got my old 190e going when I was in grad school and has seen a group of my cars over the years. After purchasing my Corvette and reading reviews on the factory alignment settings I had no question about where to take it to, despite me moving away from the Sunnyvale area. Pat is the man. He's an absolute professional at his craft and could teach a master class in exhaust work, welding and alignments. Pat has done a plethora of exhaust and alignment work on my two BMWs. The muffler delete on my BMW E90 330i was impeccable. Pat did a great job with cutting off the OEM muffler, welding on the new straight pipe and aligning the exhaust tip with the diffuser. My BMW G30 540i xDrive also has had a center resonator delete and a full axle-back exhaust installed. Absolutely love the sound and the quality of the workmanship from Pat. Lastly, he's performed a few custom alignments on my not-so-stock 540i xDrive (it has F90 M5 full suspension retrofitted). Not only that, but he also accommodated re-doing one of the alignments since I was noticing some rubbing and visual differences in the rear negative camber. Overall, Pat is a good dude and I won't be taking my cars anywhere else in the Bay Area for exhaust work or alignments! read more

I brought my '13 Mercedes C63 to Pat to re-install the stock resonator. The previous owner of the car had replaced the resonator with straight pipes which was a little too loud during cold starts (i didn't want to piss off my neighbors...) I went in for an initial estimate & Pat knew exactly what to do. I scheduled an appointment for the install a couple days later... Dropped the car off at 10:30AM and Pat said he'd have it completed by 1PM. I swung by at 12:55PM and the car was just coming off the lift! Pat does great work at a reasonable price and on time. Awesome! (Note: the resonator had been on & off the car several times by the previous owner(s), so the extra welds you see in the pic were not Pat's fault :) - The work that Pat did was solid!) read more

After corresponding with Pat K. the owner through Yelp messaging, we finally had a chance to meet after he had called and let me know that my axle-back exhaust arrived to the shop. He agreed for me to have the equipment shipped to his shop which was a plus! I knew the item would be too heavy for me to try and bring over let alone try to fit into my vehicle so the simplistic way was to have it sent there instead. I told him that I would like to make before and after video clips and he started up and revved the engine for both stock and aftermarket exhaust notes. Pat did a great job removing my stock exhaust and installing my Borla Type S into my 2014 Honda Accord V6 EX-L Sedan. He was very meticulous about making sure that the exhaust was properly and securely mounted and that the exhaust tips were evenly matched underneath the bumper. After making some minor adjustments, he looked at the tips from every angle and even took a ladder to check from top-view. When the alignment was verified, he checked to see if there were any leaks around the gasket where the connection was made and found none. Job well done!! I was really impressed with his quality of work and the job was done in about 50 min. I asked if I can have my exhaust tips on my stocks removed and he gladly did that as well. He even agreed to hold my stock exhaust for up to 2 weeks in case I decide to go back to original config. Pat's office is actually behind the first office that you see when you drive into the lot. The location is shared between him and a used car salesman. There are 2 car seats mounted on the ground where you can comfortably sit on while he does his magic. Highly recommend!! read more

I wanted to make my 2010 Mercedes E350 sedan sound a bit deeper than stock, so I purchased two Flowmaster 40 Delta Flow mufflers to replace the stock mufflers. I dropped the car off at 9:45am and the work was finished by 3:00pm on the same day. The work done to the mufflers was fantastic: the new piping, welds, and overall craftsmanship was great. Also, the price ($240) seemed quite reasonable for the amount of work and effort necessary. I am quite happy with the result and would definitely recommend this World Mufflers to anyone who needs work done on mufflers. Great shop! Been there for a few time for muffler replacement and wheel alignment. Had great experience each time. Patrick (the owner) is very knowledge in his field, and most importantly he's extremely efficient, he gets thing done, done right, and done within the time he said he would. He explains things clearly, on point, while he doesn't waste his and your time, he's very patient to explain when you ask clear and specific questions. World Mufflers - Anti-thief plate so my catalytic converter won't get stolen again from my Prius. - Auto Repair Near Me - Sunnyvale, California

Recently, there's been a surge of catalytic converter thefts and unfortunately my car, as one of the most common models to steal from, was a target. I also didn't have comprehensive insurance so I would have to pay for repairs out of pocket. I asked around some repair shops and mechanics on Yelp, and also called some places. Not only did Pat from World Mufflers respond to me fairly quickly, he was also able to work with my budget. I didn't want to pay too much to fix my old car but didn't have enough to buy a new one. After asking me the engine type, he said he was able to work under my budget and quoted me the lowest price. He installed an aftermarket converter as I requested, to lower the cost of repair and also to reduce further theft since it is less valuable to thieves. Not only that, he was friendly and had a great attitude when I got there - all I had to do was leave my car with him. The repairs were done quickly - I had my car back the next day despite not being able to answer his calls asking whether I would need or be able to pick up my car back that day. He even welded some extra pipes for free to make the converter harder to steal again, and discussed anti-theft measures with me when I went to pick up my car. I was also able to pick up my car after business hours as Pat let me know that he'd still be working on cars and staying late. Highly recommend World Mufflers if you had your converter stolen like mine or just for car repairs! read more

I've come here for every install. Excellent work and excellent prices. I've had 4 exhausts put on here. (elsewhere I was quoted 600$ for a catback i supplied to be installed??! Haha a lot of schmucks I guess lmao) 03 mustang with an x pipe then swapped and had a custom hpipe made with my stock cats. Then a catback install on a Bullitt mustang. Just had a catback put on a 330ci. It would have been a @&!?$# nightmare had I attempted myself. Well thing is product was incorrect. (Probably for a lower trim level 323, 325 or 328) Well Pat made it work. Brackets were in the complete wrong locations. So he cut them off and welded some on. Then the sway bar had clearance issues and could potentially bottom out. So he cut the pipes connecting to the mid pipe and made a slightly more aggressive angle for clearance. On top of what should have been an easy job. That ended up being like 2.5 hours. He still gave me an excellent price. Car actually has some character now. It'll turn heads but not break necks. Exactly what I wanted. Pat is very helpful and knowledgeable. He will tell you the pros and cons. Always been straight with me no bs. I'll never go anywhere else. read more
