I had the pleasure of meeting Chef David and his staff at a wine dinner last night. David described each of his creative dishes as they were presented. The courses paired wonderfully with each wine - it was evident that much consideration was put into the menu selection. The food was, hands down, the best I've ever eaten in Utah! If you are in need of a private chef, look no further. We used World PCS twice during our recent visit to Park City. The first time was for a shopping/delivery of an amazing assortment of fine cheeses, charcuterie, crackers, mustards, honey, bagels and wine. They delivered to our rental home shortly after we arrived. A perfect way to start our vacation!! Towards the end of our trip, Chef David and his staff (Brian & Nancy) went above & beyond for our Asian Fusion Dinner. We we were looking forward to this dinner the entire week & they did NOT disappoint. They showed up on time, completely cleaned the kitchen before they started and went to town with the food prep & serving...the food was delicious! As a bonus, they were professional & kind. It was a wonderful experience for all, 13 total! I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends & we will definitely use their services on return trips to PC. read more

I am the sister of the reviewer below Jennifer H. This company is terrible. Do not ever use them unless you want a terrible experience and you want to work with a VERY rude woman. One of her excuses to us was that "many regulars had ordered after us and they took priority." We argued with her that if her husband, the Chef, couldn't handle all of the work, why did he take all of this work. She had no response and spouted back, "do you want your food or not?" We just had chef David and his staff here tonight for my husbands 30th birthday private dinner. It was absolutely outstanding! From start to finish, it was so delicious! They even cleaned up the entire kitchen before they left. So friendly and explained each course we were eating. It was a perfect experience and we can't wait to use them again when we visit Utah! Chef David and his team, Pam and Nancy, were nothing less than incredible. They cooked a 5 star meal for me and my bachelorette party - group of 12 women at our air bnb in Park City. Chef Jon and Chef David customized the meal to be gluten and dairy free and it was delicious! Southwestern tapas and unique blood orange margaritas with salted rims. Their whole production is so impressive. They sent the menu ahead of time for me to approve, did all the food shopping, came early to the house to set up early, paced out the meal, described to us what went into the food and where it came from, and made the entire experience so much fun, personal and stress free. David and his crew were superb! Not only are they fabulous chefs but they are so personable and nice to work with. It's obvious that they enjoy what they do and take pride in their creations. Chef David helped me plan my elopement/wedding dinner in under four weeks. He catered to our keto (light) diet and our guests' vegetarian needs, all while bringing forward great ideas, fresh market food, and top cabin presentation. Chef David and his team were amazing. We hired them for a weekend of indoor dining as we didn't want to spend too much time away from our amazing property rental. Chef David's team went above and beyond. They prepared two dinners and two brunches for us over the weekend. The food was FANTASTIC. Literally, everything that Chef David cooked was good. Their service was more impressive. They provided specialty drinks, appetizers and ensured that we didn't have to lift a finger. We felt extremely spoiled and pampered. I found Chef David here on Yelp and set up a dinner for ~30 folks on an annual ski trip we've been doing for 20+ years. We've eaten a lot of nice meals on a lot of mountains, but this one stands out as a top choice. I asked for comfortable "mountain food" and Chef David outdid himself with his menu of "Chalet Classics." We started with a phenomenal artisan cheese/charcuterie platter. David made his own own trio of spreads & sauces to go along with a really well chosen spread of local delights. Then it was on to a set of cast-iron cooked mains and sides. The dutch oven stew was incredible, as were the cast iron skillet scalloped potatoes with gruyere cheese. SO FLAVORFUL!!! The portions were over-the-top (we ate leftovers for lunch for days), and the service level was phenomenal. If you're looking for fancy comfort food, I couldn't recommend David more highly. Horrible. Awful. Zero customer service. More than a month before our planned dinner, I began calling and emailing with Chef David. He helped create an exquisite menu for my family and I. We were flying in to Park City, and I wanted the Chef to come to our VRBO for the last night. It was a special event for my family, and the menu sounded perfect with drinks, dessert and the works! The closer to the night of the event, I heard less and less from Chef David. In fact, the DAY BEFORE the event, he texted to say the menu we established was no longer available and asked if I could move my dinner to another night. I said I couldn't since it was our last night of vacation, but I was happy to change the menu to whatever he could accommodate..... mind you I had already paid the extravagant deposit. The Chef sent me a new menu that looked wonderful with a time for the cheese plate, an hour later for the hors d'oeuvres and an hour later for the main, platted dinner. My family was BEYOND excited. We had never had a private chef before. We ate very little all day in preparation for our big event to celebrate a family milestone and culmination of our once-in-a-lifetime vacation with extended generations present. At 5:00, when the first course was set to be served, no one was at our house. There was no text or call from the Chef. Nothing. I waited until 5:15 and tried to call. No answer. At 5:30 I called again. Still no answer. I texted. I emailed. No response. My family was hungry by now. At 5:45, Chef David texted me a name and a phone number, that was all. I called the man listed and asked about our food. Jon said that the Chef was "in the weeds" and was "helping valued customers" tonight. I asked when we could expect our food and dinner that was already paid for. Jon said it should arrive by 6:00. It didn't. At 7 p.m., two hours later than the menu and agreed upon time, David's wife arrived with a cheese plate. She offered NO apologies. She was incredibly rude to us and said that David was cooking for another engagement instead. I asked when we could expect our appetizers, drinks or main course that we had agreed upon. She said she had no idea. As she was leaving, she asked if we even still wanted our food. I received zero communication from Chef David or anyone else at that time. At 8:30, two and a half ours after our originally agreed upon time, David's wife returned and tried to give us a plate of appetizers. She continued to be belligerent and unapologetic. I still did not hear from the Chef the entire evening. Our family ate cereal for what was supposed to be an important event. Do not use this company unless you want to be highly disappointed. I've never been so disappointed by the experience and lack of customer service in my life. read more
