We called Groen's and it was still under warranty. They ordered the parts from Flexsteel, picked up the sofa, fixed it and brought it back to our home. The parts were covered, all we had to pay was $210.00, that included pick up and return, replacing the parts and the upholstery tech to fit the cloth back perfectly. We paid $1,700.00 for the sofa nearly 5 years ago. Groen's did a GREAT job and steam cleaned the sofa before returning it to us. I'm sure we'll get another 5 years out of this same sofa. We will definitely purchase from Groen's.

There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.

Looks deceptively small when you first enter, as you only see the main room, a 2nd room just behind that room, and a side room filled with LPs/music/books/etc. at first. But when you go to that second room and realize there are several more rooms behind that door(albeit these rooms aren't air conditioned or heated at all, unlike the main 3 rooms), then you realize how much hidden treasures are here. And this is the ONLY caution I'll give about this place: the bathroom(in the back half of the place that doesn't have a/c or heat) isn't in the greatest shape, so I'd suggest finding one somewhere else if possible, unless you have to go very badly. I believe the staff lets you haggle on prices at least somewhat(but not sure to how much of a degree they allow this), since I overheard someone at the register and a customer appearing to do that before I began exploring the back rooms. I have been going back and forth with this company for well over two months now since my original purchase of my $900 bed (5/12/2025). The original bed arrived damaged upon delivery (6/3/2025), and I was told by the original agent I spoke with that I'd get a refund. Two days later, I received an email saying the headboard was being replaced; however, the entire bed is damaged and does not fit. It took another two weeks going back and forth until an exchange was issued. On the originally scheduled delivery date (6/13/2025), the drivers showed up two hours early, then canceled the delivery. Finally, on 7/2/2025, the delivery drivers arrived, where they disassembled my original bed, but then (SHOCKINGLY) found the new (exchange bed) was also damaged. I now have a disassembled, damaged, bed in my room, and Ashley had refused to make this right. They do not stand by their products, and if you get a damaged item, good luck, you're just out the money and this company will do NOTHING to help you. ASHLEY IS A SCAM!!!!

At least eleven phone calls later (possibly more; they couldn't remember them all!), many many false promises from employees that the couches were on their way from the warehouse (or being build or on the truck, etc.), my parents were FINALLY informed at the end of November that the couches hadn't even been built yet! The delivery date for the couches has been pushed out at least three times! At this point the couches won't even be done being made until mid December. Apparently these specific couches are very popular! A manager has blamed many of the employees for not knowing how to read the computer. One employee even told them, when asked by my parents for a corporate number, that it "doesn't exist," that there isn't one that they can give out. My father later found one online and was able to reach corporate. My parents were initially only refunded the shipping costs, but have since been told they will be credited more money.
