This place is similar to swap meets/flea markets that you'd find in downtown LA and at the Roadium. They sell a variety of items, to include cell phone accessories, shoes, clothing, and nickknacks that one would take home as a souvenier. There are two levels to this place, and it is the same building as Plaza de la Mujer (which has nail salons, hair salons, and such). On the second floor, there is a coffee shop (D'Volada) which sells decent coffee and pastries, as well as sandwiches. There is a restroom upstairs as well, just make sure you bring some pesos in coins, else you can't get past the revolving gate. There is a small playground, if you're travelling here with kids. Despite the area, this place is actually safe. I've never had issues the few times that I've ventures here, and the workers are friendly and helpful. I've bought stuff here, and the quality is comparable to the price. If you're looking for upscale only, then stick to Zona Rio and the Hipodromo. I am going to look at EVERY phone service there is here (except for Movistar, who are THE worst).. until I can find something EVEN comparable.
