I would suggest going there before 8am so you deal less with waiting. The line definitely started to get crowded after 8am. The security gives you a number with ticket and let's the first 5 go up in the elevator to the second floor to wait about 5-10 minutes ahead of 8:30am. Then after I think they use the computerized system for your number to be called upstairs. If you don't want to be standing downstairs as long, definitely bring a folding chair. I was in and out in 20 minutes when the office opened at 8:30am. Just beware they only accept debit/credit card/tap to pay and not cash. Only cash they accept is if you have a money order.

When I visited, there was a line forming in the lobby with a security guard there to answer questions, provide forms, and file people into the room with another line. The lines moved fairly quickly. The employee behind the counter checked over my form and looked at my current passport and passport photos, printed a ticket, and instructed that I wait on the second floor for my ticket number to be called. The wait upstairs did not take long. The next employee I saw checked over everything; I paid, and she informed me that my new passport would be mailed out in ten business days. The whole process took less than 45 minutes.

I was happily greeted by Shane H upon entering this place during my lunch break. He listened to my request, asked some questions, took my contact info and handed me a business card since I had to get back to work. Later in the day, Shane called me and asked if I was willing to have 2 stopovers during the flight back in order to get a better price. Oh no...Twenty-five hours to come back home was not an option! Anyhow, I now have a first draft itinerary & price emailed to me about 5 hours after dropping into the Flight Centre. When our family was in a time of need she would pester us with calls and give ridiculous fees in order to change flight timings. We paid over $3200 in fees just for some flight changes. If we weren't with a travel agent and booked this ourselves we would have saved at least $2000. DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE!

I've used Gala Travels a couple of times as has other members of my family and each time they come…read morethrough with great rates, but all of those have been long distance flights to Europe and Sri Lanka, when it comes to North American travel they don't have the best rates out there and a lost star as a result. They are very useful if you call them, they send very detailed emails and do follow ups if you have something on hold in a timely fashion. On one of my trips I had to postpone my fight thanks to visa delays (no longer an issue with my Canadian passport!) and my travel agent with Gala was very helpful in hooking me up with the best alternate flight and while I had to pay a fee it was a painless process overall. So if you have a trip to Asia coming up I would heavily recommend checking out Gala, their website is very useful and you can see their good rates straight away. And yes I was able to collect aeroplane miles too on my fight.

They use destination specialists for countless different countries! We've traveled to nearly 20 different countries in less than 7 years and typically have had few to NO issues with anything arranged through GoWay. Then most common issues we've experienced have been due to Mother Nature not cooperating on the specific days we had outdoor excursions booked. However, that's nothing that the travel agency could have controlled. Each specialist that has been assigned to us has always been well organized, thorough, knowledgeable, communicative and timely! Even if our assigned specialist is on sabbatical, we have always been temporarily assigned to someone else to cover any of our questions in the event of a random issue or accidental mishap. We used Goway for a trip to Tanzania for an 8 day Safari and 3 nights in Zanzibar. Everything went…read morewell until we were scheduled to go to Zanzibar. They selected a well known, unreliable, unsafe airline, Precision Airways. Our flight to Zanzibar was cancelled twice. We were supposed to fly at 2:45 pm and ultimately ended up on an 11:40 pm flight, which was then delayed until 1:30 am. We saw our plane land,de-board, then immediately put us all on the plane with 0 safety checks. They also overbooked the flight and sat 2 passengers in the flight attendant seats. On the plane, it was incredibly hot, tray tables were broken, as well as the bathroom door. Once we landed, they had lost my sisters luggage. We spent our entire time in Zanzibar trying to get her luggage back, which we finally did with no help from Goway. Another passenger had mentioned her flight was cancelled 6 times with Precison on her way to Tanzania. Very disappointed in them putting us on an airline well know for doing things like this, with no warning. And the lack of support was appalling.
