Neu.works is no different, located in the heart of Cherry Creek, just a block away from the famous Cherry Cricket, the space occupies prime real estate. I came here for a book club meeting. One of the club members has been working out of neu.works so they offered the space for us to use. About 15 of us parked ourselves on their lovely patio and enjoyed great conversation in the warm Colorado summer evening. The fake grass on the patio was also a nice touch. The only downside is the parking, as it is Cherry Creek. Street parking can be hard to find. There are two parking garages only a block away. I parked on the one by Wells Fargo which was pretty empty for Thursday night. Also, the entrance might be hard to find as there are some development going on and it's not right by the sidewalk. To get to the entrance, go through the "alleyway" between ink coffee and thirsty lion.

No one who works in this building weekdays was ever made aware that on "holidays" the building goes into a security protocol where your tenant parking card needs to be used to take the elevators to your floor. This is New Years Eve and it's Friday, and this is decidedly not a holiday that every business takes off. No warning signs at doors or in elevators to tell people that the building is on holiday protocol and they have to use their parking cards. They are also not good about posting signs in the entry hallways during times when access to the elevators is blocked by the extensive remodeling project. Sometimes you can't tell if it will be blocked far away, around the corner, until you get there. People with mobility issues do not need to be treated like this. For that matter, people without mobility issues do not need to be treated like this. At a minimum, the new guard should have been properly trained for this instead of being caught flatfooted and ignorant.

Fast Wi-Fi connection and plenty of electrical outlets for my devices. It wasn't clear in my DeskPass instructions that I should have parked at the top of the garage for non-2 hour visitor or permit parking, but I only needed to be here for 2 hours anyways. It's also advertised as a no-call zone, even though it's totally not reinforced because some guy was loudly talking in Zoom meetings the entire time. Super annoying, but I guess the private meeting room was closed for construction or something. Otherwise a great experience. I got a ton of deep work done and was able to focus peacefully, minus the guy who acted like OE was his home office. Anyways, I would come back again.

Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by the lovely folks at the front desk (Beth, Miranda, and Ryan). They are ever so wonderful and have saved my butt a few times when making sure my meetings with clients running smoothly. The space is perfect for my work use, I love having the ability to book and access beautiful conference rooms with amenities galore. I've seen other places pop up but I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Best part of it all is that I get to bring my doggo with me to work in my office. Who could ask for more? Some amenities like the water tap weren't fully operational that day and the phone booths are tiny, but there's outdoor tables if you want to get fresh air while working or reading. Beautiful building overall. The name says it all--best for solo creatives who want to be around like-minded people and might take 1:1 meetings but not really host group events.
