SHIFT! How I love thee! I started at Shift as a mailbox subscriber. After a year I moved to renting a designated desk and the year after I've now got an office and love it. Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by the lovely folks at the front desk (Beth, Miranda, and Ryan). They are ever so wonderful and have saved my butt a few times when making sure my meetings with clients running smoothly. The space is perfect for my work use, I love having the ability to book and access beautiful conference rooms with amenities galore. I've seen other places pop up but I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Best part of it all is that I get to bring my doggo with me to work in my office. Who could ask for more? The thing about Shift Workspaces on Corona, is that it's amazing. The space is clean, spacious, and inviting. The staff are friendly, too, especially Miranda at the front desk. I've been to Shift three times over the past two years, and I really love the space, and I was hoping to spend more time there now that I'm with a fully remote company. Unfortunately, after a visit a few weeks ago and a visit today, I won't be going back--not because I don't want to, but because I literally can't. Evidently, the last time I was there, someone was piggybacking off of my computer or my login or something and was streaming illegal video or downloading something illegally. Now, I have to clock a solid 40 hours per week in time tracking for my job, so I have absolutely no time for these kinds of things. I even joked with Miranda while we were troubleshooting why I couldn't access the wifi today that I don't have a VPN or any other kind of blockers on my computer because I don't have time or energy to do anything illegal. After spending 1.5 hours troubleshooting the issue, I was finally on. It lasted for 15 minutes. I got booted 2 minutes before a Zoom conference call and had to leave the building and use the free wifi trial in my minivan. Yes, my minivan. Shift's response to my inquiries about being able to come back in the future: "I already spoke to our IT department & unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee that you won't have issues due to the way our WIFI system & firewall works. I sincerely apologize." Seems unlikely. Seems like they don't *really* want to cater to the consumers who so need and love their space. It's really disappointing, especially because there are so few spaces outside of downtown for remote workers to find reliable internet, comfortable workspaces, and more. It's disappointing. The office manager even said they've had companies who rent space whose employees were caught illegally downloading recently. I bet they didn't tell those customers "sorry, can't help ya!" I'd been a private office member of Shift since September 2012. I was drawn to Shift because of the sleekness and the 24/7 access I had with my office. Oh, and who can complain about a gym onsite? Shift is essentially a one-stop shop for a small business owner: great coffee on the weekdays (occasionally some yummy iced tea, too!), refrigerator, furnished offices, 24/7 access for private office owners, meeting rooms, etc. I also love Shift's coworking, or shared, workspaces. These are only open during the work week, but that's when the socializing is anyway: with other freelancers, startup founders, etc. Come to work in the shared workspace to get a buzz off other Shift members. There are delicious food options nearby, too: Waffle Brothers and Cafe Byblos. I say, this block of Alamo Placita is a-hoppin'. P.S. This place is the best! I've been officing here for over a year and i'm so happy i found this place. I was looking for a private office that is dog friendly which is how i found Shift Workspaces. If you rent a private office from them you can bring you dog to work. On top of the pet friendly policy, what i really liked is their no a-la-carte pricing. I visited several other community office establishments and they all quoted one price but would then get you with the additional costs of internet, phone, cable and even utilities at some places. At Shift it was wonderful to be quoted a price and the only add on was a private parking spot next to the building which isn't necessary since there's so many places to park within a block of the building. I highly recommend Shift to anyone looking to get out of their home office and into a place with great people, the best most helpful staff around, and delicious coffee, snacks and beer on tap all the time which included in your monthly rent. They regularly do Free-Days for visitors to come check out the place to see what they think so keep an eye out for those opportunities which should be posted on the website. read more

Shift is an amazing shared space and only getting better. We would not have been able to grow our business to where it is today without their support and flexibility. We tried out pretty much all their offerings - private offices, dedicated desks, and shared space membership. The space worked perfectly both as a very small team of 3 and as a larger group of 10 employees. I am looking for a new workspace and recently took a tour of this workspace facility on Corona Street, and I was very impressed. I am not one to usually write reviews but I had a great experience and wanted to share that with others. I have looked at many spaces and have been underwhelmed for the most part. I was pleasantly surprised with the facility. The space seemed to have everything I am looking for and many nice additional touches that will be good for my business. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the manager there was knowledgable, attentive and seemed to genuinely care about what my needs were. She took her time on the tour and did not rush me through which I appreciated. Rare these days! In the end, it is certainly the workspace I have been looking for and will not look any further. I love this place. Had just moved to Denver and was working out of coffee shops when someone suggested I look into coworking spaces. Shift was head and shoulders above all the other places I looked into - it's an amazing combination of being extremely comfortable (super well kept, always great coffee, snacks galore) while also creating a great environment to be incredibly productive (really fast wifi, big coworking area, etc). The staff is incredible; they are so welcoming and will pretty much do anything for you. The other tenants here are also really awesome people. I also take advantage of the free boot camp class with George and have done the yoga with Maddie - both of which I would highly recommend. All in all, I truly look forward to getting up and coming here each morning. Well worth the money many times over. read more

Shift, I really wanted to like you and wanted to leave you a good review, but we hosted a meeting there last week, and although the amenities are great, the level of distraction was so overwhelming that it felt like there was NO privacy whatsoever. We literally had to get up and leave and go outside to finish our meeting because it was so loud. From people constantly walking by and the footsteps upstairs, the opening and closing of the dishwasher, the clinking of the metal snack dispensers, people having conversations and taking their phone calls right there at a loud volume didn't make it the best experience. It felt like they give more precedence to the lounge area than they do to the paying customers hosting important business meetings. Perhaps sound proofing the meeting rooms near the kitchen area and installing blinds would make it better. read more

Excellent place to work if you're in the mood to meet new professionals. They have special events from time to time, which heightens the social aspect of this place. Though I never used it, the gym is legit and offered to all members. Not many co-working spaces offer those kind of accommodations If I hadn't been offered a job I'd still be freelancing at this place. read more

Incredibly well designed spaces in a great location and neighborhood. Attended a number of events and everything was top notch.

I find Shift's co-working space to be cozy, and easy to hang out in. The wi-fi works, the coffee's hot, the chairs are comfortable, and the staff is friendly. There are phone booths available for private calls, but they do fill quickly. The other perks that occur regularly such as massage availability, fitness classes, and occasional lunch on-site might not be a priority for some, but I do believe they make a great impression on people about their work environment. read more

If you think this is a safe place to have your packages delivered think again! Shift front desk members signed for 4 of my packages over a 2 month period. I was not notified the packages arrived and then when I inquired they had no idea where the packages had gone. The contents of the packages totaled over $20,000. When I asked Shift to provide me their building insurance so I could file a claim they refused to give me the information. Shift was not willing to do anything to help me even though I had evidence of their office staff signing for the packages. Most good businesses would attempt to right a situation where their employees were clearly at fault! I filed a police report and left Shift. My business is still recovering from the losses! I would caution you about ever getting a mailbox with them! read more

Shift Workspaces is a great space for co-working or office space. It's a good mix of people from architects to graphic designers to software developers to non-profits. Beside providing a great work environment, they plan a load of "extras" that make one's work life feel connected and engaged, like productivity workshops, exercise classes, and networking happy hours, all free for members. The staff is warm and caring. My productivity increased and I made a bunch of friends there too. I highly recommend it. read more

WARNING! I leased a mailbox with Shift at the Corona location for over 2 years. I have a private company where I needed packages delivered and signed for on a regular basis. On 4 separate occasions in a 3 month period, my packages were signed for by the front desk staff (I have the UPS receipts) and then I was never informed that they arrived and then they were mysteriously lost/stolen. In total more than $25,000.00 in technology products was stolen from the Shift mailroom. The Shift staff did not put the boxes in the lockboxes in the mailroom, they just left them out and for 2 of the boxes they claimed they never received them (again, I have the signed receipts). When I asked for Shift to look into it they "looked" and then stated they didn't know what happened to the boxes. I asked for their building insurance since the packages were stolen from their building and they refused to provide me with that information to file a claim. My private practice insurance wouldn't cover it because it wasn't a facility that I own/rent. I filed a police report and promptly left Shift. I strongly advice against using their mail services as they are not secure. Their mistakes nearly took out my business and there was absolutely no action taken from Shift to attempt to help with the huge loss to my company! In my opinion this is a very poorly run business if they are not willing to go any sort of distance to assist a client who ended up with huge losses from the thefts that occurred due to their mistakes and less than secure setting. I am so disappointed to have had to leave as they had a great meeting room and the space was very clean! read more

I went online in search of a coworking place and stumbled across a couple different options. I made it over to Shift and was pleasantly surprised. The design is really interesting and there was a bunch of different areas for me to set up and get work done. Also, there was a lounge area that I might have taken a little snooze on to get me through the work day. It seemed like everyone there knew each other, and the girls from the front hooked up waffles for everyone from the neighboring restaurant. All in all, I was really pleased with the free day pass and will definitely be back in the near future to get some work done, and get out of my jammies for a change. read more

It is a great place to get productive, meet fellow business colleagues and have a good time at the same time.
