Love this gym and location! I can't say enough great things about this gym! The sign-up process was incredibly easy and stress-free, which was such a relief. Quinton at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly--he made me feel right at home from the start, as well as making the sign-up process seemless. I also have to give a shoutout to Kayla and Donte, who are both so knowledgeable. Whether it's questions about equipment, workout plans, or fitness tips, they really know their stuff and take the time to help. You can tell the staff here genuinely care about their members, which makes a huge difference. I LOVE THIS GYM! it is small, but it has anything you would need in a gym. and since it is small, when you find the right time to go there is very little people there. I workout there daily and the equipment is always clean and nobody bothers me. the staff is very nice and helpful and since it's open 24 hours a day i can go anytime that's convenient to me for my workout. sometimes it's 5am sometimes it's 10pm! highly recommend! read more

The gym itself is pretty solid, just have to find the right time to workout so it's not packed. Clean and functional. However I would strongly advice you against the personal trainer subscription. Cost you $180 a month, and promise 4 sessions a month which is decently market valued. However they are bad at communicating with you. I had the "service" for 7 months, and looking back at my record, I didn't not received training for 4 month over. Excuses were made about they opening another gym and not having trainer and trying but failing to schedule everyone in, which is a stupid excuse. If you can't handle it, why take more subscription. Want to cancel but you do have to have a 50%, which if you do the math that's $450 on top of the $720 paid when not getting the service promised. Bad business practice, avoid the personal training. read more

From taking temperatures to meticulously cleaning they provided members with outstanding service. Fantastic gym. Great price, always open (24 hours), good selection of equipment for the space and price, clean, professional, hard-working staff. A great gym, to say the least. We've been members of this Workout Anytime (800 Whitlock Ave Marietta, GA) for about seven years now, working out there almost every single week for the last seven years straight. Dianna Kaga (owner) and the staff are as good as it gets, and I'm speaking from experience of having gym memberships all over Marietta and Atlanta for the past 20+ years. I have no idea what the negative reviews are talking about, as Dianna, Steven, and others have been only professional and friendly (and no, I'm not getting paid or incentivized in any way to write this review). Not only has my and my wife's interaction with the staff been only positive, but I've never even seen a negative interaction with others over the last seven years. I'm proud to call this my gym, and I recommend it to others that I meet out in public whenever I know that they are new to the area, or looking for a gym. One other thing: during Covid-19 Dianna and staff went to incredible lengths to keep the gym open when other gyms were closing down. They cleaned the gym constantly and took every possible precaution to ensure that the members were safe, and yet still had a gym to workout in. They could have just shut the gym down, but they worked overtime to provide a safe, clean place to workout in. That speaks hugely of them. Also, I've never had any problem whatsoever with billing for the last seven years. I can't speak, of course, to other people's reviews, but maybe they're talking of another location. They don't deserve a star they are thieves charged me $39.00 so they can't raise monthly dues. Quoted $15.00 a month got billed at $19.00. Went there to cancel on the 27 of June the loser dude said I'm charging you for July. I've contacted my Visa account and stopped payment. I have been to several locations and this WOA has been the cleanest and I always see the owner. Most members at this location treat each other like long time friends and very polite to new members. The main con about this location is the small size and music. I have worked out at the location off and on for years and it has been the same classic rock music station. I love and appreciate all genres of music but please play a diverse music selection that caters to more of your members. Other than the music and smaller size, it's a great gym and worth joining. read more

Deserves 0 stars because of Dianna, but the two previous trainers I had here were ok so because of them the place gets one star. Here's my experience with workout anytime in marietta: 1. Got groupons and Dianna would not let me redeem one of them or apply it to membership or any other service because in her words, she "doesn't even get paid for that". 2. Asked if she could help me with personal training, and she said she couldn't train me, luckily there was a female trainer there who said she could me, unfortunately she said she would only work at workout anytime so I had no choice but to get a membership there. I liked her so I decided to proceed with the membership. 3. When that trainer left workout anytime, I hired a new trainer, Dianna tried to dictate how much he was charging me per session, he wanted to give me a certain price and Dianna tried to make him raise it and told him that my previous trainer charged me higher (in actuality, Diana didn't know how much the previous trainer was charging me because I paid her only in cash... and for good reason)- so unprofessional of Dianna to try to interfere with personal training prices. 4. I wore a long-sleeved turtleneck crop top that only exposed my lower middrift/belly button with high-waisted leggings, and Dianna came storming into the restroom after me, and after she checked the stalls to make sure no other members were in the room, she said that I wasn't allowed to wear that, but that she wouldn't "send me home" this time. I asked her why and told her that other female members wear sports bras and crop tops with no problem, and then instead of answering my question, she asked me who else was wearing crop tops (she knew exactly who, it's just that she wasn't bold enough to confront them/didn't care enough to). Also, on my first training session- I wore cheerleader shorts and a tank top (that was the first time and last time I wore shorts because I didn't like how old men were staring at me- disgusting); and nothing was said by Dianna, why did she wait until my trainer stopped working there to say anything about dress code? I actually requested copies of their membership agreement and no where did it state that members aren't allowed to show middrift (also, when requesting these documents, the associate at the front desk (not the nice one who wears glasses) asked me if I'm leaving, but in a very condescending/passive aggressive way). Spoke with other members about the incident and they said that it's because she's jealous and perhaps even because I am ethnic (I am 5'8, 140 lbs, D cup with abs and sculpted lower body, and I know I have a nice physique that got a lot of attention at her gym from men but also from female members because some of them thought I was a trainer- which clearly made her fuming with envy; but Dianna could've been sued by me for the incident that transpired, I decided not to because an anonymous person informed me that allegedly she had a husband who cheated on her and then he died, therefore I felt sorry for her and decided not to proceed with any legal action against her; I understand that insecurity makes people make unfavorable choices- I feel sorry for her but that's no way to treat members- it just enforces what people already think about her). Stop bringing your insecurities into your business Dianna. Luckily, I moved to a nicer neighborhood and nicer gym in 2018 so I am no longer a member here- I know Dianna's happy I left and so am I. You can decide if you want to be a member here- if you're somewhat attractive/fit, ethnic, and a female in your 20's or 30's and like to dress presentably for the gym she might do the same thing to you. You can go down the street to any of the other gyms and you'll probably be treated better and without misogyny, and the equipment will be nicer. xo read more

My husband and I came in for the free guest pass and signed up that day. I've been a member at Planet Fitness, YouFit? Lifestyle Family Fitness, Bally's, Shapes for women, LA Fitness and a few other gyms. This gym by far has the best quality equipment I've used in a long time. The Mx4 training classes will kick your ass, in the best possible way. The trainers are great! The owner is helpful and talks with everyone. The regulars all know each other and everyone was friendly. I thought since it is small that I would have to wait for machines but that hasn't happened yet. They just replaced all the flooring, so they do keep up the facility. I recommended WA to my roommate and she liked it so much that she signed up for personal training with Nick. I definitely recommend this gym. read more

BUYER BEWARE! Predatory company! This place is a complete scam! All I got from them was lies. They said I would get personal trainer time for free and then could they could never contact the personal trainer. They were really friendly at first and made sign up very easy, but they charged me $150 just to get started and a few months later when I tried to cancel my membership they said I had to snail mail a letter to some PO Box in a different state and they would still deduct another month of membership. So far I have tried everything to cancel my membership and they are still deducting money from my account. It's been over four months! All they want is your credit card number and rest assured you will get screwed. They are a predatory company and I am filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Secretary of Commerce. read more

This fitness center does have some positives, But unfortunately it doesn't out weight the negatives. The biggest positive is that this location is the cleanest I've ever been too. AC is never broken and the temperature is on point in the gym. That's about it... Now the biggest negative is that it took 3 months for them to fix the water fountain. The music playing in the gym is embarrassing, old, and slow pace. The equipment is always broken but does get fixed eventually. When it does it tends to be a decent fix and hold up for awhile. Most of the staff have been rude not only to me but to potential and new members coming in. One of the worst things I've seen is employee bs his way thru exercise science and act like he knew what he was talking about. Overall though for the lack of gyms in Marietta you can't unfortunately beat the gyms price. Just consider your options... read more

I was turned away from my workout because the lady at the front desk told me ,after I went on the web to find a Anytime Fitness near where I was visiting that day, and I successfully used my key fob to gain entry, I could not work out because I wasn't a member of the club. Then gave me directions, 5miles away to a club, that had nothing to do with Anytime Fitness. Frustrated, I returd to my friends home. If this is how you treat strangers, I'd hate to think how you treat your paying customer's. read more

The manager is short tempered and short patience. She pretty much begged me to do my first consultstuon of training. Finally the day the trainer is there he never even comes to get me , then tell me due to me telling him in prior conversation ll may go somewhere else l get an email about if l cancel they gone charge my card. So l woke up and get there he says oh l thought this was out of your budget. Ima Proffesional in corporate environment. My time is important and they barely have different time available due to being so small and only having one personnel. Then they charge 100 for 2 sessions a month. That's the craziest thing when l can pay 100 to a true personal trainer that has multiple sessions a month. To cancel you have to send a certified letter which l will be doing ASAP!!! A very good gym experience. This gym has plenty of equipment options in good working condition, lots of balls, mats, bands, & free weights. The locker room is appropriate and comfortable. There are 2 well maintained tanning beds, and it is open at all times. The owners are a big draw as they're friendly and energetic and knowledgeable. Their personal training has provided me with the best results I've had over the last couple of trainers I've used. And it's very affordable. What more could you ask for?! read more

The staff is so untrained it's a bit frightening, and BE SURE TO READ EVERY WORD of the contract - they have massive fees hidden in the fine print. This has been the best gym I've belonged too. I read previous reviews and I don't agree. Maybe the lady who reviewed picked the wrong location. Whitlock location has friendly staff. I REALLY like the MX4 classes. I've noticed a difference in my clothes in 4 weeks! I'm old and nothing works too much for me but this is tough, (now it's fun too) but results. Not worth dealing with this gym. I got the point that I stop going before my membership was even expired because the machines I use were either unavailable or not working. Since my membership has expired, they still continue to charge my account each month. I would never recommend this branch, though I can't speak for other locations. read more
