Workout anytime Decatur has to be one of the best gyms I have ever been too! It's cleaned daily, I love the staff and their energy especially Ahyanna she bounces around the club energy at an all time high. Her energy makes you laugh and gives you strength to power through your workout on the hard days. Erika is an awesome front desk girl her and Maria I absolutely have the best time from the time I get there until I leave. If I could give zero stars i would. This is the most poorly run gym ive ever been to. The employees look at you like you're not in the highschool friend group and getting them to help with anything is like pulling teeth. Im ending my membership cuz for the millionth time the sauna isnt open even though that's one of the only things they have to do in a day. read more

Great experience!! I Just need the facility for a short term and Ah'yanna hooked me right up. Her customer service was both engaging and professional. The facility has a coziness about it, so I never felt uncomfortable. The equipment was sturdy and showed no sign of wear and tear. This is my forever go-to when I'm in the area. read more

I'll admit, I don't really come here to work out much I keep my membership mostly for the hydromassage bed! At 48, it's the perfect way to relax and ease my aches, and I look forward to it every visit. The staff is always friendly and the gym is clean and welcoming. It's such a shame the hydromassage is down for maintenance right now, but I can't wait for it to be back up and running. That's definitely my favorite part of coming here! read more

Changing my review of this gym. I was happy working out at this gym for a few years. So much so that I decided to stay on as an active paid member throughout the pandemic in effort to support our local businesses even after I moved. When I decided to finally end my membership for obvious reasons, What do you know? First I found out that they had locked me into a year's contract (something I would never sign or agree to). And even after I explained the situation to the manager; letting him know that I've been a loyal member and I'd practically supported the gym for months without actually using it. His response was still no, can't help ya. It's very unfortunate how my relationship ended with this gym. For someone who had been going there for years I was truly disappointed and will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Good gym with good staff but just today a member was looking at me a lot and I'm 90% sure he took a picture of me when I was near him by the mirror. I don't have full proof of the creepy behavior but if I see him again and I see questionable body language and phone fidelling again I'll report him. read more

I'm guessing this is actually monitored, because after uploading photos of the dilapidated state of this gym they've replaced the mats, added a coat rack, and added one rack (hence the 2 instead of 1 star). I've been a member here for over a year (since 2016) at this point. I've never been someone who's dreaded going to the gym, but this place really made it feel like a chore/something you had to endure rather than enjoy. Its easy to join this gym but more than difficult to resign. They dont answer the phone, they don't answer emails.The only way to get their attention is to write a crappy review or pull your bank card. What they don't understand is that the customer is always right, and trying to be so difficult to contact is not a good business model. I hope this review gets some response. If you are considering joining a gym in this area I would not recommend joining this one. They are very uncooperative in assisting with questions you have concerning your membership. It's required that you cancel your membership within the first 7 days of enrolling and if you fail, you have to stay in it for the remainder of the year, which is ridiculous. It's also hard to communicate with anybody here because the staff is rarely present. I got charged $29.15 recently on a $10 membership that has already paid the annual fee. Nobody answers the phone and nobody is there when I go to figure out why I was charged this. On top of all of this, the gym is very small so unless you go at bizarre hours you are having to wait for any machine you'd like to use. This is the worst gym experience I've ever been a part of and I'm counting down the days until I am allowed to cancel. read more

Another workout enduring rap music- take your noise cancelling headphones. Their satellite radio has been stuck on rap stations the past year. Asked for different music genres, was told their satelite stations rotate but that's a falsehood. read more

I went in asking for membership information. Reluctantly pulls up the different options. Tells me there is a 100 dollar enrollment fee and 30 dollar annual fee for a monthly 15 dollar plan. I tell him another workout anytime facility has a 1 dollar enrollment which it does and ask him to work to a lower fee. Wasn't asking for the 1 dollar just something reasonable. He tells me immediately to "go get your $1 membership, don't hurt yourself on the way over". If you're looking for customer service, you won't find it here. The equipment is out of date and whole area looked very dirty. Do not recommend at all. Go anywhere else. Chamblee location had $1 enrollment btw. Additionally, they have staff hours of only 4-5 hours a day. read more

I recently joined this gym due to how close to my house it is. I actually am a member of two gyms X3 and this one. I joined this gym actually during snowpocolipse cause I was stir crazy and my other gym was closed due to the weather. I normally have almost a hour drive to my other gym where I have a trainer and take kickboxing, yoga, & fast track so this is my late night easy cardio place. I like how convenient it is to be able to work out at any hour. It has been clean every time I've gone. I've not had to wait for any cardio machines. Also so far I've not even met any of the trainers there. I normally go there around 8pm or later so far the most people I've seen in there at one time is like 6 people. I go there any time I want to read or watch TV actually. Instead of sitting at my house I go here and read as I walk on treadmill or bike. I also use their free wifi and watch movies on my ipad. They have tvs over head that you can plug into the machines for volume but I prefer to bring my own entertainment. The guy who manages the place is nice and the place is extremely affordable. Plus there is no contract. The equipment is new and nice. read more

This gym constantly changes ownership and management. I have no idea why. There was a sweetheart older gentleman who used to work there and then *snap* just one day, he was gone. Nowadays, there's always one or two machines with the ubiquitous "maintenance has been called" sign, barely anyone communicates hello when you enter unless you bark it out first, etc. We renewed our membership recently and during one 6am visit to the gym- lo and behold, my key card didn't work. I was so grateful for somebody to open the door for me. They very well could have elected not to, as it's against the rules. They never renewed my card properly, so that required yet another trip to the gym when management was there. They took care of it but come on, who wants to keep revisiting an establishment when it should've been done right the first time? The last time I was there, several people had trouble with their key cards due to the laser system malfunctioning in the entrance. I alerted a trainer after opening the door a few times after seeing people struggle. Get it together. read more

Safe precautions made during the pandemic and has all the tools needed to get it done

After trying another branch, I thought I'd post a review for my home gym. I've been a member for nearly two years but only really committed over the past eight months. When I initially joined, I cancelled after about four months because I just wasn't going. Cancelling was very easy with no billing problems. When I decided I was serious and need to re-up, I was dreading a lot of hassle and money to rejoin. Nothing of the sort; just first and last month upfront with no new dues. Very cool. With regards to the gym, the equipment varies from relatively new to a little worn. The bicep curl station had a ripped armrest for weeks that was finally replaced but other stations still show some wear. On occasion I have to wait for some machines but I'll usually move to another station until the one I want is free. During weeknights it can be very crowded trying to get a treadmill or elliptical machine. A mat area for stretching/plank/etc would be great but for now it's the floor in the weight area or jammed up near the lockers rooms. No towels but sanitary wipes are available throughout the floor. They have installed large fans to circulate air better which is great because the funk that used to hang in the air could be cut into strips. Locker rooms are usually in good shape but they have had plumbing issues in the past. Carpet in the men's locker room can get a little gross and slides are a definite if taking a shower. Free WiFi lets me watch Netflix on my phone instead of whatever is on the TVs. The parking lot can be a little nuts sometimes with two restaurants, a liquor store and a Dollar General fighting for spaces. Staff are usually nice and courteous but I was asked once to stay off a vacant machine because a trainer was about to move a client back to it for her reps. So much for teaching gym etiquette to newbies... And that's probably my biggest complaint about this place: lack of courtesy. I'm usually having to put away gear other people (including PTs) left out so I can have a clear space to plank, dig around for a medicine ball on the other side of the floor or get a plate for an incline leg press that someone else left on a chest press. Usually doesn't seem like a meat market but some of the older dudes do appear to ogle the ladies from time to time. I notice a lot of folks won't wipe down stations or reset the weights; it'd be nice if all that changed but WA has no power over those people. Well, except for the trainers who leave gear all over the place. So a few things to pick at but overall you're getting a really good gym available at any time of day for $15 a month plus signup fees. read more

Would not recommend working out, nor working for this gym! Bad business, bad ownership, outdated equipment. There's always something broken here. There only be 3 treadmills working out of the 9 they have. The owners pretty much panders, lies to get you right where you need to be before he tries to treat you like a peasant, pay is horrible, and shows favoritism. read more

UPDATE: I downgraded my review below because the audio boxes now have been broken for an absurdly long time (over a year in some cases), and now one of the televisions has had no sound for a couple of months. The staff at the gym is friendly, and for the price, it is a good deal. However, almost all of the audio boxes on the treadmills, ellipticals and bikes have been broken for months and are not being replaced. If being able to watch TV while doing aerobics matters to you, then this gym may not be the place for you. read more

I have no idea about the reviews above; I just joined, primarily for the ease of getting in as my daily schedule changes. I can keep the same overall schedule in regard to activities no matter what. At this location there so seem many older people but I think that's because of it's neighborhood. One of the cool things here is the coordination between the staff. From head trainer Aaron to nutritionalist Lauren there's a real team effort to work to design personal programs that fit what I specifically need. & when I come in off-hours it's like having my own gym ! read more

Most inexpensive and convenient gym in Decatur! $15/month and I've been a member for 5 years now. It's a smaller gym but provides all of the machines and equipment you could think of. It'd be nice to have a squat rack, but there is a smith machine. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and helpful! The trainers truly care about their clients and the regular members as well. Management does a great job keeping the gym and locker rooms neat and clean. They have also started free water Fridays and free snack Saturdays which is a nice bonus! I chose this gym because it's close by and I can get in and get out whenever I need. Its never super packed, but it's nice to see friends and neighbors every once in a while. I don't understand what some of the negative reviews are all about. My husband and I have been very happy at Workout Anytime. If you want to spend mega bucks on a fancy gym with pools and saunas, then you're in the wrong place. But if you want to pay a nominal fee each month for gym equipment that's safe and functional at a time that's convenient for you, then Workout Anytime is a GREAT deal for the money. No frills, no classes, can get in, do cardio, do a weight circuit and depart. Nice diversity, from the white haired gent following his doctor's advice to the skinny teen jiggling along to his iPod. I just joined this club today. As such, my review just covers the enrollment process. I will update it as I start using the facility in future. The rep who helped me become a member was very friendly and responsive. He took me around the facility and answered my questions well. The facility seemed to be clean and had enough equipment available for all at around 4:30 PM. It is, however, a small facility and I can see it becoming claustrophobic (and stinky) at rush hour with members rubbing elbows with each other. Fortunately for me, I live very close by so I would not be using their showers or locker room. There is ample parking here at most times. So one star for helpful rep and one star for convenience. Monthly plan costs only $15 and one can go month-to-month with option to cancel anytime with a 30-days notice. That's another star for affordability. However, there was a unpleasant surprise when I got home and got to read the contract agreement that WA emailed me (you don't get to see the contract while you are signing it electronically - you just listen to the rep mumbling terms & conditions and put down your initials or signature on the electronic pad). In any case, the contract mentions a RateFee of $29 to be paid annually in addition to the monthly fee that would be charged to your account on 45th day of the membership. There are two issues here that leave a bad taste. First, the facility advertises a low $15 monthly fee everywhere. Well, it is not - it is $15 per month plus $29 per year - that is, about $17 per year. Still cheap, but there is something called truth in advertising. This reflects badly on the management. Second, the rep didn't mention this fee even once and I found it only when I was back home and decided to read the entire contract (I am very careful with gym contracts as they are notorious for screwing their customers. Most people don't read these long contracts at all and get into trouble later.). That's when I found this $29 fee for the first time. So that's a loss of one star due to management's lack of truth in advertising (which makes you wonder what other unsavory practice they may have in store for you), and a loss of another star due to the rep not mentioning it at all during the enrollment process. This whole issue ticked me off enough that I wanted to cancel my membership within the allowed 7-days evaluation period. It's not a matter of money, but principles. Society needs to weed out businesses that do not adhere to highest ethical standards. Unfortunately, my wife wants me to go to the gym and would not let me cancel :-( So here we are with a base rating of 3 stars as of the date of joining. I will adjust this rating up or down based on my experience as I start and continue my workouts there. read more

Ive been and on again off again member for 1.5 years. I can run here from my house. I now have a personal trainer off site but have used the trainers here as well. Over all the equipment is well maintained and the staff are helpful. It is NOT ideal if you work 9-5 and want to workout on your way home. From 5 pm until about 8:30 pm it is way too crowded. With so few weight machines if one person hogs it, you just have to wait or move on. There is absolutely no space for ab work or stretching. I have tried,but you have to lay in the path to the restrooms or water fountain and say im sorry as patrons step over you. This place is ok if you can work out late or during the work day and only want to do cardio and get out of there, but it's too small and too crowded to get in a good workout. read more
