We paid a deposit for the flooring on October 30. Material was shipped and we were scheduled to start on November 26. Guys came to move the furniture, but the installers were delayed for a day. The flooring was mostly installed the following day. The project finally finished on JANUARY 16--some 7 WEEKS later. Nobody came to return the furniture to the bedroom; we eventually had to do it ourselves. To be fair, the furniture moving part of the bid was deducted from our final payment. The stair "noses" required to finish the job had not even been ordered when the job commenced. Then one stair nose arrived. I called and reminded them that two stair noses were needed. More delay. In addition, the installers left an obvious ragged edge along one wall. When questioned, they said that the baseboard would cover it. However, the house has no baseboards, and we discussed the lack of baseboards with the installers before they started. Eventually, they returned with some caulk to disguise their error.
