Very tasty homemade food. Servers are down to earth friendly. Reminded me of my momma's cooking…read more Meatloaf white navy beans, salad, homemade selection of dressings. Many choices! Very tasty. Friendly atmosphere and great price. We will be back and stay here too. We heard the (right off the road) small motel is comfortable and clean. Mike and Laura Jenks, OK

Rooms are clean, tile floors are nice so no nasty carpets, decent bed & pillows in Rm 3, table w/2 chairs & a sink with larger countertop which is nice. Good wall mounted 32" flat panel TV with DISH, bathroom is large with a good size shower stall & good water pressure. Room service is provided on most days, sometimes it was hit & miss but she always has enough supplies in room you don't need service everyday except maybe for trash. Grounds are kept very clean, nice chairs to sit on out in front of the rooms which is nice in the evening shade! ONLY caution here is the internet is fairly slow, it will operate most websites but not good if you need to upload alot of stuff for work every night...but it was reliable in that it didn't go down all the time like the motel down the street. I highly recommend this motel whether for work or passing thru on a trip. Weekly rate was $250+/wk.

Great place to stay, more home-like than hotel!…read more When traveling thru small towns, I don't typically hold high expectations of hotels or eateries. Traffic drives quality, and low traffic is usually met with an appropriate level of accommodations. Kim's Cottage is a diamond in the rough: old school downtown main drag, commercial storefront, repurposed with quaint, homey cottage style dwellings inside. Adorned with antique bedding, bedside-bench & credenza, my cottage (#1) had unique charm with vintage touch. While I didn't partake in the amenity, my room featured a decent jacuzzi tub as well. Where the Best Western down the road may offer a continental breakfast, Kim's Cottage had a lovely spread of cereal and breakfast bars, generously available for consumption in my room, on-demand, day or night. I truly appreciate the accommodation! The bathroom was clean and again, featured homey details. Just felt "more friendly" than a cold hotel room. Fresh towels, actual shampoo & body wash I'd want to use, and even a stash of fresh q-tips. I found Kim's Cottage courtesy of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, while shopping for a hotel for a pending business trip and couldn't be happier with the recommendation. While I'm unsure if my work will again take me to Canadian, I'm so thankful for the experience and for enjoying a good night's sleep! Thanks Kim's Cottage! -AW

Weather had been bad all the way up from Texas and back and we'd been booking last minute cheapest rooms, but I wanted his last night on the road to be special because it had been such an arduous trip. He really liked it but felt it was too "frilly" for his comfort. He's kind of a bull in the china shop type guy. But he went on and on about how much I would have loved it, and how fun it was that the suites were built as separate cottages inside of the historic building. The hosts were very nice. And he loved the hot tub and didn't want to leave it. He said there was also a performance theatre next door, also owned by Kim's family. All in all, well worth it to stop and stay at Kim's.
