On
arrival we were able to have an early check in which we were very grateful for
after our 4 hour journey, however, the toilet was blocked and we had to wait an
hour and a half for maintenance to arrive.
The gas fire wouldn't light and the electric heater was faulty the gas boiler
didn't look too safe either. The caravan smelt really bad of stale gin and
there was mould on the bedding and around the windows. There was even a blood
stain on one of the quilts.
The 'restaurant' food was not of good quality, we had to go to reception to ask
to be served at the bar even though the bar said it was open.
We didn't expect much having read many previous reviews but we did expect
somewhere warm, dry and clean. We didn't get it.
When we reported faults to the staff, we were not taken very seriously as
we were only here a few days anyway.
I was glad to get home and we will not be visiting Woolacombe again. read more
