I love this campsite! Great views looking out towards the woolacombe beach. Perfect for groups, hen partys, stags or just to get away to make new friends. With 18-30s fellow campers, but a chilled out atmopshere and friendly staff on site! You can camp for about £17 per person per night. With onsite toliets and shower blocks. There are other types accomadation such as log cabins and static caravans. There Cheap drinks in the on site clubhouse! 2for1 on all alcholic drinks, themed nights and a dancefloor. with a petrol station next door with mini super market for any essentials. Park next to tents and dogs allowed too with small fee per dog. Its near to woolacombe town centre but abit of a far walk to recommend taxi or drive. This campsite is great for groups, there is plenty of space for you to spread out and not be too much bother to your neighbours. On arrival one of our friends was made to pay a large deposit (£110) because there was a large group of us, this was more irritating than anything cause we weren't warmed about this before hand, we did get the money back the next day so it was fine in the end!! There's no frills at this campsite, the facilities are basic but clean and probably all you need for a weekend away with your mates! The on sight bar is well, um, interesting! They play music and serve till 1am, it's also 241 drinks during happy hour! They do have pool tables, and poles for pole dancing should this be your thing!?!! It's a really chilled campsite and your not going to be told to keep the noise down every five minutes unless it gets really late! This is a perfect campsite for young people: it is not too expensive and has a lively bar which serves pizza. They even do an all you can eat breakfast (I think it is £5). It is walkable into town (although you prob won't). They have really friendly staff, but no one is in a hurry (but you are on holiday so why would you care.). they are not big on families so you don't have to worry about being woken up by screaming children in the morning. They even have these cute little surf pods that have everything you need (fridge, heater, telly) and are pretty cheap. read more

Ideal campsite for groups of lads looking for a few beers away from home. We booked in with 10 of us and On a Friday night and paid £159 for the night, including 3 cars. Single sex groups are welcome but the deposit is higher for them. We needed to leave a £200 deposit in cash (can't pay by card but garage next door has cashpoint) that sits in there safe overnight in case you misbehave too much. That said, we were still drinking and chatting at 3am and the campsite security didn't care as they walked by. Started the evening in the onsite bar. Lots of lagers on sale although bitter drinkers need to make do with Tetley. Easy enough to stay here all night, but after a few we checked out the town pubs instead. The walk to the town and beach is quite easy. 5 mins along the road, then a path that cuts through fields straight into the town. Taxi back up for 7 cost £12 and there are minibuses waiting at the end of the night outside the nightclub. Went to Captin Jacks for food (see separate review) and then Jube and would recommend both. Campsite includes good facilities for toilet and shower, and apparently has an indoor swimming pool too. Bar and restaurant is big with pool table and large screen tv. Breakfast for a fiver really is all you can eat and plenty take advantage. The food is no better than the price suggests. I'm fussy about the quality of my sausages and so didn't even try the frozen, rusk filled 'pork' sausage they offered. Rest was good enough to help recover from the night before. Don't expect a lot for your money and then it's a great site. I've been using the park on & off for over a decade and have seen it develop from a very poor holiday park/fields to the modern site it is today. You are expected to bring your own kit (sleeping bags etc) no matter what lodging you use - there's an ever expanding variety available. Oddly though, this expectation even goes as far as bringing your own cup, glasses, knives/forks, plates etc when staying in the larger (and more ££££) cabins. I have had a variety of friends turn up for a weekend (with food to prepare) only to find they can't do any such thing because there is nothing to eat with or off - there is a kettle. How ever, the parks real USP is that it is great for groups of friends (mixed or single sex). You'll have to pay a deposit to ensure you don't break anything (there's not a lot to break in your accommodation) or cause problems. The onsite bar stays open late (if you're still drinking, they'll be serving). The breakfast is very simple (again) and self service but it really helps with those hangovers! Oh yeh, don't forget to tidy up after yourself or you could run the risk of getting charged to have someone sweep out your cabin (shed). Pets allowed and great views. read more
