KD Mechanical provides reasonable options to be cost effective without just automatically replacing units. They will try to troubleshoot and repair if at all possible while other HVAC businesses will simply default to an expensive solution of replacement which is not always in the best interests of the customer (nor ecologically sound). This business performs both commercial and residential work but tries to respond with urgency to residential work as they realize the individual needs can be critical circumstances. I called, the guy answered, I told him the problem, he said turn the switch off, leave it off, and he'd head on over as soon as he could get away. I found out later, he left dinner with his wife to come out and get things going. He showed earlier than he'd said, got right on it, found the problem, had the parts in his van, and half an hour later, the a/c was running cold. I asked him what I owed, he told me and I was taken aback. I felt lucky even to have gotten hold of someone on a late Saturday. I was really hopeful when the guy actually showed, and early at that. When he had the air conditioner going cold in almost no time, I really couldn't believe my good fortune. I 'd already called to make reservations in a hotel in Galveston for the weekend, thinking it would be Monday before anyone would get out to look. But to have a guy do all that and for no more than he'd asked, well, that just doesn't happen often. I can't say enough good about Ezequiel Garza, so I'll just say you'd be doing yourself a favor to have him take care of your air conditioning problems. He shows early, knows his business, prices himself modestly and guarantees his work.
