Best park during the pandemic! I have never been here before the pandemic, but after playgrounds opened up, I was searching for somewhere to take my child. I did not feel comfortable of the playground it had a bunch of people were 6 foot distance cannot be maintained, so I kept looking. I found this park, which was a blessing. It is tucked in at the end of a dead-end street, and the playground usually only has a couple of kids. It has two platform swings, that can be used by one or two children at a time, zip line, a huge rope climbing structure, and a more traditional but large play structure with many slides and ways to climb up. There are three picnic tables in a shaded area next to a building, which has bathrooms. The bathrooms I believe were closed for most of the pandemic, but they have opened again. There is also a large grassy field, with a baseball diamond, and plenty of room for playing frisbee or ball. At the opposite side of the park is also a tiny little kid playground, because the main playground is more suited towards those who are older than toddlers. Overall, this is a great playground at the park. It does not have as many different things on the playground as some others, but you can easily spend the whole afternoon here. There is also a fence around the main playground area which helps you keep an eye on your kids. There is no gate, just two openings on the fence, but that still helps a lot for keeping your kids contained and keeping an eye on them. read more
