The folks at the Field House have developed a formula that doesn't quite reach the lofty standards set by GH Cretors, but they hit many of the right notes. In many Chicago mix popcorns, the creators will either go to sweet on the caramel corn or too cheesy on the cheese popcorn. And worst case scenario is you end up with both flavors at the extreme. Other places also use too much salt in their mix. After all, cheap popcorn sells more drinks where they can make real money. Here, too, the Greenheck Field House product shines. Just enough salt to satisfy your savory desires but only enough to make you purchase one additional beverage - not two or three. For the purpose of full disclosure, I do not like eating Chicago mix popcorn as a mix. I love caramel corn, and I enjoy cheesy popcorn, but I never let them co-mingle in my mouth. The Greenheck Field House mix provides a perfect balance of both flavors, so one can eat each separately and not feel cheated.
