We were just having fun in the dodgeball courts, when this little boy was following around me and my son. At first, he was doing no harm, up until he started throwing dodgeballs at my sons head. I yelled at the kid to stop and he would not. The court monitor did not seem to care whatsoever! Eventually my son threw a ball that had accidentally hit him in the head, after he hit my son in the head over 5 times! This is when the court monitor decided it was time for action, I didnt catch a name, but she had wavy/curly hair an black glasses, havent seen her before so she must be a new hire. She comes over to the courts and starts to yell at my son! She says we 'cant throw balls at peoples heads' but she dint say anything when the other kid did! I told her that he were just playing the game, and she started to talk back, saying how she could see us from miles away. Not true one bit! Overall I would not recommend this place at all! Horrible workers, they need to make better selections with workers, place is dirty everywhere, dirty bathrooms, unflushed toilets, and a horrible stench! Place is absolutely disgusting and horrible I do not reccomend! DONT COME HERE!

This review will focus on the "Chicago" mix popcorn available at Greenheck Field House. Many of you…read morehave probably tried the mix from GH Cretors or an off-brand. The folks at the Field House have developed a formula that doesn't quite reach the lofty standards set by GH Cretors, but they hit many of the right notes. In many Chicago mix popcorns, the creators will either go to sweet on the caramel corn or too cheesy on the cheese popcorn. And worst case scenario is you end up with both flavors at the extreme. Other places also use too much salt in their mix. After all, cheap popcorn sells more drinks where they can make real money. Here, too, the Greenheck Field House product shines. Just enough salt to satisfy your savory desires but only enough to make you purchase one additional beverage - not two or three. For the purpose of full disclosure, I do not like eating Chicago mix popcorn as a mix. I love caramel corn, and I enjoy cheesy popcorn, but I never let them co-mingle in my mouth. The Greenheck Field House mix provides a perfect balance of both flavors, so one can eat each separately and not feel cheated. The next time you visit Greenheck Field House, be sure to grab a bag - or two - of their excellent Chicago mix popcorn!

How often do you get to stand exactly halfway between the Equator and the North Pole and halfway between the Prime Meridian and the International Date Line? Not every day! The 45x90 Geographical Marker in Wisconsin is one of those quirky, "you've got to stop here" kinds of places. The site is well done, there's a small parking area, a short walk (less than a quarter mile) on a paved path, and a big granite monument marking the spot. It's selfie gold! The nearby visitor center has a fun stamp to certify that you've been to the center of the Northern Hemisphere (bragging rights unlocked). It's not a long stop, but it's a memorable one. Combine it with a scenic drive or lunch in nearby Wausau, and you've got yourself a fun little Midwest adventure.

Go somewhere else. I set up an all day trip several months in advance with Phil over the phone…read more He wrote me in on his calendar and asked me to call him the week before so I did. I asked when and where we would meet because I had to drop my son off at camp no earlier than 7am. He actually said that he likes to start around 7 but that is not a problem. He said that he would text me the day prior with a pin for the landing. We traveled all the way from Florida to Stevens Point, I texted him on Sunday that we had arrived in town, had our license and were would be ready for him after 7am Tuesday. He responded back and sent the pin for the location in Mosinee. Guess what, Phil was not there when we got to the landing at 7:34am. We got out, I looked around and saw a truck with empty trailer and thought that he must be here and he just ran the boat up river to look around or something. I texted him at 7:38 am that we were here. We got our stuff out and poked around a bit then I told myself that I would wait till 8 to call and check. At 7:58am I called him . Well.... he left us...and was rude about it too. He even said that he waited 45 min but that is impossible if I am sitting there at 7:34. But regardless, this was all communicated. I could not drop my son off until 7am in Stevens Point, then drive about 30 min to Mosinee. That is what we did but he left his charter at the ramp. Take better notes Phil, read each word of your texts Phil. We traveled over 18 hours and you couldn't wait a prearranged 30 min. Yes prearranged as in I told you about it and you acknowledged it.
